Great place to stay! No fuss hotel. Rooms are not cleaned everyday unless you ask. I think that is how they keep the price down. Breakfast was great. They had this unique machine that made pancakes with literally a wave of the hand. They had a different egg everyday along with a different meat. English muffins and bagels were also there. We will use them again.

My wife and I stayed here on 6/14/22 in room 215. Room size is very small...like you have to go into the hallway to change your mind small. No closet or microwave. Bathroom shower is a joke. Shower head produces a mist at best. Tried all settings, and was still bad. Mattress was horrible. Pillows were there for show...so bring your own. AC would "clunch" when it kicked on and off. So good luck sleeping. Hardwood floor seams are split and open...so don't go barefoot. Best part was the rooms are so small they cool down very fast.

Filthy hotel. Dirt, dust, and grime all over floors to the point of making bare feet turn black in minutes and socked feet collected tons of hair that was not ours! Tiny rooms. Baseboard fell off spontaneously without ever touching. Found other people's toenails on the floor. Had a horrific odor! Hot and humid in the room. Hotel employee didn't give a rip. Doubt he was paid enough or trained enough to care. Didn't get requested pillow or towels, though promised. I would NEVER EVER stay in a Tru facility EVER AGAIN. Would camp first and I hate camping!

The rooms are basic and small. They feel like European hotel rooms. The floor is all wood planked which makes the room very noisy. There are basically two light switches for the room so if you want to have lights before going to bed it's either on for the whole room or off. The bathrooms are nice size and the stand up shower is nice sized. The furniture feels like something from IKEA and will probably show wear soon. There is no closet and a tiny refrigerator and no microwave. If you need to microwave something, they have something in the lobby. The morning breakfast is only two to three hot items along with Continental items.. The hotel information is incorrect on the times for breakfast. For weekday breakfast it is 6 to 9 a.m. and weekends are 7 to 10 a.m.... even though the hotel information shows it's open till 10 a.m. I almost missed breakfast because I went down at 9 a.m. they were nice enough to let me take what they had left. The hotel feels more on the economy size so I would not pay a premium price for this hotel.

No complaints about the hotel or amenities, but the behavior of people staying in this dorm type environment is like a “free for all”. On my stay I decided to stop after a long day and try this place due to location to nearby activities, as a diamond member I appreciated the diamond member parking spots near the front. As the evening went on people were running up and down the halls of the floors, there was a team of baseball players running around the hotel banging on doors and running away, the noise from chicknpickle directly next door went well past 11 pm with bass and music penetrating the walls, and then a guy was outside my room talking on his cell phone loudly, again between 11 pm and midnight and after about 30 min of multiple conversations I poked my head out as I had been operating on 4 hours sleep, I asked him calmly if he could take his conversation to his room or to the lobby , he quickly replied to me to go eff myself and I’d had enough and stepped out to invite him to tell me that again, of course he wasn’t brave enough when I confronted him, I went to get the desk attendant, very friendly but overwhelmed young lady that night due to all the chaos. The were nice enough to not charge me for the room but as a result of the style of hotel I cannot recommend this hotel to the business traveler. Quiet hours and the ability to have privacy is important and this is more like a dorm atmosphere with everything in common and very thin walls

This hotel is in a good location, easy to get to and lots of things within close distance. I arrived at the hotel at 3:45 pm on a Tuesday and I was greeted by the desk person upon my enter. She checked me in right away and didn’t say anything about me being a Diamond member. I also had to ask for my bottles of water. She assigned me a room on the first floor and the first thing I noticed when I walked in was how high the ceiling was, it had to be 15 ft. The room was a standard Tru hotel room, very minimalist. The room had the following amenities. Refrigerator, iron, ironing board, work area & satellite TV. The room was very clean and in order. The bathroom was equipped with hand soap and lotion next to the sink and shampoo, conditioner and body wash were in the shower. One thing that I thought was weird was the chair provided in the room, it was a table chair and not adjustable at all for working, I just don’t remember seeing that before. Overall, this is a nice Tru hotel, I like this brand because you get basically the same thing at everyone of their locations. I would stay here again.

The workers were excellent. The rooms were pretty clean. The sheets were soft. The environment is very noisy. The soap is overly scented and causes allergies. The mini fridge doesn't really do anything and no microwave. The breakfast is okay but almost entirely carbs. I wouldn't stay again due to noise, allergies, and junky fridge. But was pleased with customer service.

    1. I spoke with the front desk staff at least 5 times about getting fresh towels delivered to my room everyday. Four of those times staff members said they would take care of my request, but it didn't happen, and one of the the times the staff member said the housekeepers were too busy to do that. 2. The sheets in my room smelled like a dog had last slept on them. Yuck. 3. The squeeze bottles for soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were very difficult to use. I have limited mobility with one of my hands, but the squeeze bottles required two hands/arms. 4. I was not able to access the NBC TV station from my room. I asked if that could be fixed, but was told no.

This was a nice, clean hotel with a great breakfast bar and fun games. Love the outside fire pit for conversations and relaxing. The adults - as always - worked from the Zoom Nooks. They are the best place to hook in and knock out work on the road! Diamond parking is a nice perk, as well as waters for the road. Adore Tru!

We drove in after a long night & needed a place to rest. We found Tru. The girl that checked us in was so wonderful & friendly. This hotel has rooms that are college dorm like. They are nice & great for a quick stay. My room was clean, & everything worked. My ONLY complaint would be the bed is VERY firm, I didn't sleep much because it was so hard. The breakfast was good and I loved the fact the lobby had games to play & a pool table. That was cool. It is a great area, lots of stuff nearby. Overall it was a great stay. I would definitely stay again.

5 stars doesn't even come close to this hotel. We had a medical family emergency and ended up staying here for almost an entire week. The front desk staff was beyond amazing from helping us get our online booking figured out to just being awesome. Joe in maintenance deserves at huge raise!! This man was working 17 hours to make sure things were running and going smooth for all the guests, so thank you to everyone there. You made us feel like family, gave us ideas where to go to have a mental break and you all were outstanding. Till we see you again Bridget and Jim from Colorado

The hotel is new and everything is fairly updated and nice. Some nice restaurants nearby and things to do. About 10 min from Intrust. The room ac has a very annoying whine to it and didn't get very cold. The beds were comfortable, and the supplied soap was nice. We arrived at 4pm when we got to our room they were still cleaning it. My biggest complaint is that breakfast is advertised till 10am. Got up early to make it. 20min before 10 it's completely shut down and closed. It is very frustrating because when staying at a hotel, free breakfast is something we look for. I wouldn't return.

Staff would not return phone calls and an item left in the room I called about the same day was either thrown away or taken and kept by staff. Be extra careful with your stuff because they don’t care about their customers belongings. Accidents happen but why should anyone have to call for 2 days straight and no one call back. Do not recommend Hilton.

First room still had the cig remover machine in it and it smelled awful. The floors were sticky. My fault for not looking at the type of accommodations this place was. It is basic bare bones and referred as a sister hotel to the usual place that was sold out. Second room was what you should expect for the very basic type room.

Compared to several of the other hotels in the area...Tru Hilton was incredible. Very clean, like new accommodations, and very friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was very good...hot, with plenty of food readily available. Pet friendly (for a fee) but overall...excellent customer service, cleanliness, and comfortable accommodations.

The entry to the hotel and lobby were very nice and clean. The staff were all very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The room also felt very clean. However, the breakfast was not good at all, the walls are paper thin... like we can hear everything from the surrounding rooms. The air conditioning unit constantly sounded like a spaceship was taking off it was SO loud. The parking was also extremely difficult and at one point there was 0 parking. The water pressure in the shower was TERRIBLE, which kind of sucked.

We love staying at Tru by Hilton when we travel and this was no exception. We went up to visit my daughter in college and this was our first time staying at this one. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful and we always love the murals in the lobby of each one that gives a little story of the area. My daughter and her roommates came over and we played pool and games in the recreational area and really enjoyed it. We also love the automatic pancake machine at breakfast. Thank you Janet for the area recommendations...we loved Keeper of the Plains!

The place had a fun and modern atmosphere. I really enjoyed the setting and style. As far as the staff. There was one person checking people in that never was at the front desk if we needed anything. Also, another thing was that the rooms didn't have coffee makers. The lobby had coffee and everything you need though.

Not a good hotel experience. Main lobby felt bohemian. Uncomfortable sitting arrangement/furniture. Super expensive ticket items ie: 1 bottle of beer was $6.00 CRAZY! No ice machines on any floor but in the main lobby and it never worked during our stay. The room was surprising in a bad way! Good points... Large, clear, big screen TV, cold A/C, and spacious, fairly clean bathroom with softer water than a usual hotel. The bad points... Upon walking in...musty, stale odor. No closet. No drawers. No coffee maker. No microwave. We had to go downstairs to get amenities that normally are supplied in a hotel room. As far as I'm concerned, those are hotel standards. One super uncomfortable computer chair with no other sitting arrangements. No counter space, just long skinny tables. Bedding appeared to have been changed. The bed itself was absolutely hard as a brick. It hurt my back the entire stay, which we pre-booked for 3 nights. Floor looked unswept & unmopped. Location was great. I'm not looking for an apology, what's done is done. I will never stay there again and do not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is fabulous, but only for a certain type of traveler. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who needs an extended stay (unless you will be outside of the hotel every day), however this is a great option as an overnight travel stop. I stopped in for an overnight while traveling from Minneapolis to Dallas. The rooms are definitely minimal, but provide a clean bed (or beds), television, plenty of outlets and USB ports, and a spacious bathroom. All of the showers are walk-ins (which I very much appreciate) and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion are all provided in large tube dispensers. Breakfast is a little sparse, but all of the major food groups are provided and are standard American-fare. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruits, bread/bagels, etc. If you have special dietary needs, you will likely need to go elsewhere which isn’t great. However, I can look past small things like that when you can often snag a room here for under $100 / night after tax.

Loved the rooms really nice really high ceiling, nice gaming area in the lobby, nice breakfast and definitely really service. The staff is so respectful, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend this place for everyone business or pleasure, family with kids or just get away, perfect for all occasions.

This is a basic brand with no frills. However, it has a gym and if it's your thing, a young vibe. There's a nice outdoor seating area with a firepit. Beds are comfortable and a good shower. It certainly does the job. Breakfast is disappointing, having very few options. It also finishes at 9am, which is a little too early when you've had a late night. Check-in was friendly, but they forgot our Diamond perks and we had to go back later to get these.

Only stayed for one night and it was great. Front desk was nice, breakfast was good (loved the pancake machine), clean and comfy rooms, and I loved the decor of the lobby. Very colorful and bright, makes it welcoming.

Great place! Staff is friendly, amenities are ample, and its a nice modern hotel. A little out of the city, but it has its appeal. I was out in Wichita scouting homes for a job move, and the staff mentioned a bunch of local places to check out, and mentioned good neighborhoods.

i book in this hotel at least 6 times a year. They had never had any issues with canceling a reservation. My last reservation was made and cancelled on the same day (within hours) the employee in the front desk said my card would not be charged. the next day my card was charged and they gave me an 800 number to get a refund approved and they failed to give me my refund or to change my reservation to a different date. They wouldn't even allow me to keep that reservation even though it was already charged to my card. i will never book with Hilton hotels with this kind of customer service!!!!

I come to Wichita once a month for work and I was staying at the Double Tree on the Airport ground but the staff wasn’t friendly and the rooms weren’t that clean. The rooms also didn’t smell good. So I started staying at Tru and this is my 3rd time here. The staff has always been welcoming and kind. The hallways always smell good and my rooms is always clean, neat and smells good. Someone name Crystal cleaned my room the last time and she did a great job! This is where I stay now going forward, it’s less expensive then Double Tree and better quality in my opinion.

Stayed here for 3 nights. All the staff I encountered were really nice. The price of the hotel is very reasonable. Breakfast was similar to a Hampton inn. There are nearby restaurants . The rooms have vinyl plank flooring and as such are very noisy. During my stay the noise from above was some of the loudest I’ve ever heard in a hotel. The doors in the hallways slam loud and you will get to join in on your next door neighbors conversation/phone calls/alarms etc. through the walls…The rooms are small but well thought out.

Great business-travel, low fuss hotel. I'll definitely remember the Tru brand for my next business trip. Small rooms, so not a great family option or if you're planning to hang out in the room much. But great lobby space for working or lounging.

Cleanliness zero. Mold on vents. Food crumbs, hair, and other unknown items underneath beds and on the floor. Desk area could use another wipe down. Crumbs in the fridge. 3/4 of a toliet roll used folded nicely.. Disgusting. Scuffs on walls, and a bunch of other annoying uneven fixture items. 4/5 for staff, they seem nice. Hilton you can do better. Cancelled the rest of my stay.

Clean, vaulted ceiling’s, up to date modern rooms including electric blinds, close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was ok. If they had biscuits and gravy on the menu and a bigger workout room I would never stay at another hotel, period!

Disgustingly dirty hotel. I’ve recently switched to looking for Tru over other hotels, but this location DOES NOT hold up to my experiences. My room had HAIR covering the floor even in the shower! The toilet seat had not been cleaned and it was visible in the worst way (gross!). The sink had toothpaste residue (a different color than my own). Unfortunately, I didn’t take note of all this until the morning as I was too exhausted from my trip. My guess, they don’t pay their employees enough to maintain reliable and responsible help. Definitely keep driving!

Our first time staying at Tru by Hilton. The rooms were nice and clean. They were a little small. The room included a king size bed, small refrigerator, flat screen TV, pull out desk, chair, a bench and 2 night stands. The bed was hard and the pillows were flat. There was no closet, but a place to hang your clothes on a rack. There is no microwave. The bath included a shower with a toilet and sink. Also there is free Wi-Fi.

I had high hopes for the hotel since in My opinion it looks very nice. But my room was completely filthy, hair on the pillows, towels were disgusting looked like they weren’t washed it at . Honestly looked like the last person who was in that room had just left it was disgusting. Not to mention before midnight because we couldn’t believe how gross that room was and we decided to check the bed on the seams and found bed bugs. Absolutely the worse experience I’ve ever had we didn’t even spend the night there we left around 11pm and got another hotel. Don’t waste your money👎
