The hotel is easily accessible from I35 as I was traveling through the area. I felt safe as a solo traveler. The room was clean and breakfast a typical Hampton Inn breakfast buffet. My only disappointment was that there was not a refrigerator in the room. It was my fault for not taking note of this as I made the reservation prior to my stay.

I am a Hilton Diamond member. I checked in online through the app for the one bedroom suite I had booked. It’s important to know that I book a one bedroom suite not for ego, but my for my husband who is disabled and the extra room a suite provides makes his life easier in terms of mobility. We arrived at our hotel just now and the male front desk attendant said the room I had booked was not available “but I could have a regular room.” I asked why didn’t anyone let me know? He said they tried to call but got no answer—this was a lie as I’ve had my phone with me and answered every phone call. There was no “I’m sorry,” no “let me help you find another Hilton,” no nothing. I filed a complaint with Hilton’s Diamond member phone number. That front desk attendant in my opinion, needs to be written up, or demoted, or retrained. Terrible service at this location and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Staff and management do not have the patience to host teams in town for sports tournaments. Team stayed at this location in the Spring and had no issues. But for the Fall tourney, the staff was not courteous or accommodating to the families when they were congregating in the lobby and not causing any type of distraction to other guests. Apparently just the front desk clerk.

The staff were nice. The room is clean, but smaller than I like and dated. No fridge or microwave. Good place to lay your head, if that's all you need.

I’m surprised that this property has 4 stars. As a diamond Hhonors member I stay in a lot of HI properties. Definitely earn the majority of my points in them in the last 20 years. I don’t expect a lot out of them or frankly any lower end properties. Clean room, check. Relatively quiet, check. Soap shampoo and conditioner in the bath, check check check. And a decent breakfast. Not here. They actually have taken the typically low quality HI breakfast and made it even worse. Watery “eggs” check. Watery sausage? That’s a new one. Half cooked potatoes with dark spots? Eeeww. Not even any cheese or salsa available to try to at least cover it up. Unforgivable. What happened to the cheery upscale breakfast changes that a lot of the HI made during Covid with the fresh pressed juices and yogurt parfaits? Gone. Not sure if this is an attempt to push me to an HGI or to Marriott, but something’s gonna give.

To say this needs a full renovation is an understatement. Dark, dreary, and overall just sad. It’s clean enough, but when it’s that old nothing looks clean. Much smaller than pictures appear. Area quite sketchy. I literally watched a young man dig through the dumpster at the Fairfield for food. I did not feel safe. I cannot speak to the service as I checked in and out via the app and overall all of the aforementioned issues are completely outside of the staff’s control.

This was a very nice place to stay. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was super nice. They had a exercise room and and the breakfast was good. I would stay again if I was staying in town.

Loved this location and our room was great! Unfortunately we stayed here partly for the indoor pool which was unusable. Traveling with our 3 grandchildren they were very excited to swim. We were disappointed when we discovered the pool is so cold it’s not usable. We asked 3 different times if maintenance could make it warmer and they kept saying they would but never did. We will not stay here again.

2 stars bc no bugs. Carpet in room beyond filthy, hallways and elevator filthy, couldn’t eat the breakfast.. no way. Lot of other choices folks

First things first, the concierge was polite & respectful, even though he was getting griped at by a customer who apparently didn’t understand the booking process online & the concept of the non-refundable advance booking. Secondly, the rooms were okay. They felt a bit outdated & I’m not 100% confident that my room was thoroughly cleaned since the previous occupants keys were still in the room along with the toilet paper hanging down & almost touching the floor. However the towels appeared to be clean & same with the bed so I went with it. The breakfast was actually decent as it had eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit & pastries. Finally, the gym was okay as well (not a large one but sufficient). I think the AC in the room was broken as it was rather warm inside the room. They even had a peloton but I wasn’t sure how to necessarily use it, & it seemingly wanted an account to use as well. There was a small indoor pool there as well, but didn’t get to use it due to lack of time.

I noticed that this place had mixed reviews. When we stayed it was clean, smelled clean, comfortable clean mattress, had a refrigerator and microwave in the room, very friendly staff and was quiet. We did not use the pool so no review on that part. There was complimentary waters and cookies. We are picky about where we stay. I would stay here again

Angie was very nice to chat with. She was positive towards the staff and expressed her passion for customer service. I got stranded due to a snow storm, so it was nice having a little sunshine in a disappointing situation. Thank you, Angie, for making my day brighter! 1 star was taken away because my original room didn't have heat so I had to pack up. Fortunately, Angie, made it super easy to move me to a new room! For management, the QR code in front of the TV says its for a channel guide and nothing is listed. The same QR link mentions nextflix, but that model of TV isn't a SmartTV.

Payed for a non smoking room Put me in a smoking room either that or the whole hotel reeks of cigs Went down stairs asked for a band aid said the had no band aids or first aid kit. Which I’m pretty sure is mandated by OSHA. This is the lowest quality Hilton I’ve ever stayed at.

It's always high quality in all Hilton. This time we stayed in Hampton. Clean, thoughtful and convenient as usual. Highly recommend to be sign in as a honor number.

This hotel is ok but a little less than what I’d expect. No microwave or fridge in the rooms. Market is very limited. Breakfast was also limited.

Stayed at this Hampton the night before I moved back east from Wichita. This assessment is from 2012. Lovely place to lodge; staff were friendly, courteous and proficient. Hope it's still that great when I visit Wichita again.

Horrible staff rude told me I could go get hotel somewhere else when I told him the fee he was charging was not what my confirmation said. He didn't care what my confirmation said his system was charging a different price and if I didn't like it I could go else where. Big guy at front desk. Very very rude and we where there due to death in the family, if that was not enough.

Checked in Nov 23, 2022 @1030 pm . We stayed on the first floor. The A/C was very noisy, the Room above, at 11:30 pm the guest were very noisy and disturbing .I called the front Desk/ Operator for help NO ONE would answer the phone! Not the most Welcoming experience. Disappointing ....

Only downside for us was that apparently the heat is fueled by burning cigarettes. It was unpleasant to awake to the smell of a burning pack of Marlboros (cowboy killers, not Lights) which permeated the room. The side door wasn’t compatible with the digital key. Otherwise the staff were helpful and the bed comfortable for a quick in-and-out stay.

I had an non smoking room, but could smell smoke from next door. But great hot breakfast and cable TV! Right off the highway and convenient.

If you have another option stay somewhere else. Kevin at the front desk was very unprofessional. I waited at the front desk for several minutes without anyone to check us in. I had a digital key which would not work. Kevin argued with me and didn't know what to do to fix the issue. Seemed very confused. Sounded like I work him up when I called about the key issue. Blamed everything on a non working computer system.

Property was clean, staff was friendly, quick check in/out. great location for business at Beech Factory Airport. Good breakfast. Would be great if some restaurants were close by.

The hot tub is not functioning and appeared to not be functioning for awhile based on the appearance. The shower in the room was stained yellow, the carpet was filthy and the beds were uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast is from 6am-10am and at 9am they had already ran out of bacon, eggs, and orange juice with no other juice options available. The sausage was undercooked and made me sick. We regretly reserved two nights which totaled $300! We will not stay here again.

We used this hotel as the site for a family reunion. The hotel staff was very accommodating, especially Brenda who was extremely friendly as she helped us out with family pictures; she was kind even as we interrupted her. The breakfast was great and the space worked for meeting up with family again!

Do not recommend this location. The hotel is very dated, the beds are hard as a rock. The pillows should have been replaced 3 months ago. Parking lot is very small. Find another one if you can. Alley was the only positive experience at this location.
