1/5 Micki I. 1 year ago on Google
We
came
into
town
for
my
dad's
funeral.
I
reserved
2
rooms
and
called
in
advance
to
let
them
know
we
would
be
arriving
late
on
Thursday
as
our
flight
landed
at
11:15
pm.
After
a
slight
delay
in
Denver,
we
arrived
at
the
hotel
at
12:30,
tired
and
exhausted.
We
saw
there
was
a
sign
saying
the
attendant
had
stepped
away
and
to
dial
"0"
on
the
lobby
phone
directly
behind
us
only
to
hear
the
phone
ring
at
the
front
desk
in
front
of
us.
We
stood
in
the
lobby
for
15
minutes
before
Sara
came
strolling
back
to
the
front
desk
with
no
apologies
for
making
us
wait.
We
finally
received
the
keys
to
our
rooms
on
the
3rd
floor.
The
first
room
was
great,
but
the
second
room
was
full
of
cleaning
supplies,
a
vacuum,
and
one
of
the
beds
was
unmade.
We
went
back
downstairs
to
let
Sara
know.
Still,
no
apology.
Her
reply,
"I
wish
they
would
mark
the
rooms
if
they
were
not
available."
She
gave
us
a
key
to
another
room,
which
she
said
was
an
upgrade.
We
go
to
that
room,
only
to
find
it
occupied
by
another
guest.
Mind
you,
it
was
super
late
and
the
situation
could
have
been
much
worse
if
that
guest
came
after
us.
Went
back
downstairs
to
let
Sara
know
that
there
was
already
someone
in
that
room.
Her
reply,
"What
the
heck!'
At
this
point,
I
was
super
frustrated
and
beyond
tired
and
told
her
to
just
cancel
the
2nd
room
and
we
would
all
just
stay
in
one
room
and
told
her
I
would
speak
to
the
manager
in
the
morning.
The
next
morning,
I
did
speak
with
a
young
man,
who
said
he
was
the
manager.
He
didn't
seem
all
that
interested
in
what
happened
as
he
did
not
try
to
go
out
of
his
way
to
rectify
the
situation.
He
just
said
the
room
was
canceled
and
there
was
no
charge
for
the
room.
If
we
did
not
have
so
much
to
do
to
get
ready
for
my
dad's
funeral
we
would
have
gone
to
another
hotel.
The
customer
service
was
horrible
and
the
fact
they
were
not
too
concerned
about
us
entering
an
occupied
room
at
1:00
am
was
mind
boggling.
The
young
lady
who
checked
us
out
on
our
last
day
was
actually
very
nice
and
apologized
for
the
situation.
She
said
she
that
she
does
not
usually
work
at
the
location,
but
would
be
sure
to
let
management
know
about
the
situation.
For
future
trips
to
Wichita,
the
Hampton
will
not
be
on
my
list
of
places
to
stay.
It's
really
too
bad,
because
it's
a
nice
hotel
in
a
great
location!
