Worst experience EVER!! We booked 7 rooms the first part of April for a June stay. We were confirmed to have rooms with 2 queen beds so our families and athletes all had comfortable beds for a long weekend event. A call was made directly to the hotel on the Tuesday before we arrived and we were assured we would have the double queen rooms on Friday. Upon arrival we were told there were no double queen rooms!! We had confirmation numbers and emails showing double queen reservations but the gentleman at the counter was too busy to be bothered by OUR problem and moved us to the side so he could check in other people. He did offer the two roll away beds they had for our 9 athletes!!!! The "pull out couch" that he said our athletes could sleep on was actually more of a 5' settee which wasn't going to work with our 6' athletes!!! We ended up in a scramble moving to another hotel in a pouring rainstorm! We will NEVER go back to this hotel nor recommend it to anyone. I have also attached pictures of the "couch" to show a glimpse of the quality of the furnishings.

Don't expect to get a 4 o'clock late checkout as a Diamond member here, they won't honor it. Cleaning staff is only available certain days and by request. I try to avoid staying here when I'm in town. I get better perks for my status from the local Marriott brand hotels. Update; the local management has made an attempt to make things right so I may try to stay with them again to see if anything has changed.

The hotel was ok for the most part. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the breakfast was decent, beds were comfortable. Two things majorly bugged me however. The room always felt damp. Like the towels, sheets, and the carpet felt like they had gotten wet and weren't quite dry. I kept having to crank the AC to get it to not feel damp in the room. The other issue was the weird barn door for the bathroom. Oh, and there's no microwave in the room.

Our room was in a bit of disrepair. The cord on the phone had so much static you could barely hear your calls. Beds were really squeaky and rather hard. Breakfast oddly had sugar free syrup which had a chemical like flavor. The woman making breakfast was fabulous however! Her name was Regina. Super friendly both mornings we were there. Food was always topped off with fresh new food. Counters were clean.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for a hotel within five minutes of getting to the hotel. Earlier, I had called the front desk were young man named Seth answered the phone. Not only was he polite and helpful with my questions in my room request when I arrived at the hotel he was very personable and greeted me with a smile. I had mentioned to Seth on the phone that I needed a couple of extra pillows. He said to remind him when I got in, and he would gladly get them for me. Which of course I forgot to ask him and remembered when I got to my room. To my surprise, there were two extra pillows already in the room! That is above and beyond good service and I just want to say that not only was the room sparkling clean and very comfortable, which is what I’ve come to expect from the Hilton brand; Seth should be given extra kudos for making sure the customer was taken care of even when she forgot. :)

Room was supposed to be two queens and it was one queen and a small chair. We had seven rooms booked for special Olympics and we verified the rooms two days beforehand. They said they only had those rooms and we had to scramble and move 20 minutes away from our venue at the last minute!

I had email confirmation for 5 rooms and two nights with queen rooms. I arrived and was told there were not queen rooms and there was nothing to be done. I shared the email and confirmation numbers with the front desk, I was told so what. The hotel was not interested in helping me solve any issue. I was forced to take my group to another hotel that was able to provide queen rooms.

The WORST experience I've ever had with a hotel in my 20+ years of travel. My granddaughter's Special Olympics team made reservations at this property a few months in advance as well as verified the reservations 2 days prior to arrival. We reserved 7 rooms , 5 queen doubles and 2 kings. We were assured everything was ready for us. Imagine my surprise when I walked into our room and there is 1 king bed, chair and a "sofa." We went back to the desk to get a different room and were told "what we have is what we have." The man at the desk was dismissive of our concerns and didn't stop what he was doing to address us. He told us the sofa's pulled out to a bed...which they don't and he said there were rollaway beds available...which there are 2 in the entire building. We were traveling with 8 athletes of whom are taller than the "sofa" he suggested we use. After trying to get some resolution from this man and not getting any straight answers, I got on the phone and found a different property for us. Perhaps training is in order for your employees taking reservations. They should know what kind of rooms are available on the property. In addition, I STRONGLY suggest conflict resolution training and the principals of customer service. Needless to say, I will NEVER make a reservation at this hotel nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Check in through app is convenient. But they do not clean your room unless you ask for it at the front desk. Why do I pay a higher price to stay at a hotel if you are not going to clean my room? I could rent an Airbnb way cheaper and clean myself. That's the point. I asked for my room to be cleaned and all they did was take my trash and old towels. NOTHING ELSE WAS TOUCHED. They didn't even replace the towels they took.

We came into town for my dad's funeral. I reserved 2 rooms and called in advance to let them know we would be arriving late on Thursday as our flight landed at 11:15 pm. After a slight delay in Denver, we arrived at the hotel at 12:30, tired and exhausted. We saw there was a sign saying the attendant had stepped away and to dial "0" on the lobby phone directly behind us only to hear the phone ring at the front desk in front of us. We stood in the lobby for 15 minutes before Sara came strolling back to the front desk with no apologies for making us wait. We finally received the keys to our rooms on the 3rd floor. The first room was great, but the second room was full of cleaning supplies, a vacuum, and one of the beds was unmade. We went back downstairs to let Sara know. Still, no apology. Her reply, "I wish they would mark the rooms if they were not available." She gave us a key to another room, which she said was an upgrade. We go to that room, only to find it occupied by another guest. Mind you, it was super late and the situation could have been much worse if that guest came after us. Went back downstairs to let Sara know that there was already someone in that room. Her reply, "What the heck!' At this point, I was super frustrated and beyond tired and told her to just cancel the 2nd room and we would all just stay in one room and told her I would speak to the manager in the morning. The next morning, I did speak with a young man, who said he was the manager. He didn't seem all that interested in what happened as he did not try to go out of his way to rectify the situation. He just said the room was canceled and there was no charge for the room. If we did not have so much to do to get ready for my dad's funeral we would have gone to another hotel. The customer service was horrible and the fact they were not too concerned about us entering an occupied room at 1:00 am was mind boggling. The young lady who checked us out on our last day was actually very nice and apologized for the situation. She said she that she does not usually work at the location, but would be sure to let management know about the situation. For future trips to Wichita, the Hampton will not be on my list of places to stay. It's really too bad, because it's a nice hotel in a great location!

Best included breakfast I've ever had at a hotel! Most kinda throw some stuff out there, you could tell the person in charge cared about everything about the breakfast and it sure did show, everything was great and the food area was immaculately clean! Kudos you deserved it! I'm hard to please!

If you're here just on business, it's great. Decently sized rooms, however, no where to put unpacked clothes. The breakfast bar is definitely not the worst one I've seen. The coffee is always fresh, and the managers seem to know the area pretty well.

Room is good, bed is nice, bathroom has shampoo, body gel and lotion. Service is good, breakfast is great. Location is space. Sam's Club and Target are 2 blocks away.

The view wasn’t that great for the water view. They had upgraded me to the water view room because I wanted to let go of an accessible room they auto assigned me. They said it was going to be the same cost but I was charged the difference. HQ refunded me the difference. I shared my experience but if I’m in Wichita again, this will be where I’ll stay.

The hotel is very nice and reasonably clean. We have stayed here several times. Our only complaint is the pool is freezing. For an indoor pool you would think it would be somewhat warm. Also there’s not enough towels in the rooms and the trash are so small nothing fits into them.

This hotel definitely needs help with staff. Night manager also cleans rooms. Hope you don't arrive in the evening when she is trying to do both, you'll never get checked in!

I made a reservation at what I thought was the Northeast Hampton but actually it was the Northwest location. I was very glad I got the location wrong. While checking in, Seth was very helpful and had us checked in within minutes. The room was extremely Clean and Fresh. Hats of to housekeeping and management. If you are in need of a room...you can't go wrong by staying here.

Nice hotel! Has a decent fitness room and a small but nice pool. Towels at the pool. The host was friendly. Concessions area and a continental breakfast. Room are nice and spacious and there is a neat walking trail around a pond in the back.

Nice clean rooms. Good breakfast. We usually always stay at Hampton Inns when traveling but this time the bed was terrible! Very hard got hardly any sleep last night and that was the reason for getting a hotel in the first place.

I am typically a loyal Hilton customer when I can be. This location is what you’d expect from a Hampton Inn - a nice, clean room and a small breakfast bar. Although, I do have to say that the lady who was running the breakfast area was the star of the show. She did a great job. The noise level - yea you could hear a few conversations from next door, which is annoying. But it was typical, as I said earlier of Hampton Inn. Overall, I like staying at Hampton Inns for general / business traveling.

WOW, I am truly blown away by the customer service. I had some issues with check in and other amenities. I received a handwritten note and a bag of toiletries apologizing for the inconvenience. THAT is what customer service is!!! Thank you Hampton Inn Hilton for making this right and providing incredible customer service, this just improved my trip IMMENSELY!

The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast options. Good location close to a theatre and shopping. If you've had good experiences at Hampton Inn before this one will not disappoint.

This appears to be a new hotel. It was very clean and modern. The staff was very helpful and professional. The price was reasonable. Lots of parking.

The beds are horrible. Hampton used to have great beds. Ours was lumpy and uncomfortable. This was the second room we were in. The first having hair all over the place.

Very clean and nice. Great breakfast. Only complaint is that the bed was as hard as a sheet of plywood. Only reason I gave them 4 stars.

The people at this hotel really made it a great experience. We felt very welcomed when we first checked in and the lady at check out was very nice. The room was clean. My only complaint and is that the mattress was uncomfortable. Too firm for me and it seemed like I felt springs in it all night. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and the lady in charge of breakfast was a delight. It's in a great location close to lots of shops and restaurants.

The room was clean, modern and spacious. Had a newer flat screen Samsung TV. King size bed and a nice large bathroom with walk in shower. They have an indoor pool as well as a workout room. Both very clean and updated. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were very friendly. The full breakfast was very good. My only complaint was they were out of orange and apple juice and the eggs could have been fresher but overall they had a nice selection of breakfast items. Their breakfast is also open until 10 am which is nice. It's located within walking distance of a QuikTrip, a Super Target, a Hobby Lobby, and a Sam's Club. Also within close driving distance of a mall and a bunch of other stores. We will be staying here when we come back.
