rooms were clean on arrival, but they don't clean while you are there unless you ask, which they failed to inform us upon check out. Our trash was not emptied, towels weren't replenished. We had to request and go get our towels each day. Our old towels never were picked up so we stayed with dirty towels in our room. Had a phone in the room but no cord to it, we requested one upon our arrival and one never came. They had a very lean staff who did the best they could. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Terrible place to stay…. Front desk has no clue who is the customer … cleaning was disgusting… picked up towels from bathroom floor and put them back for reuse… this place needs serious visit by authorities. Since they allow animals to stay, which is great, you would expect to use the extra revenues to cleanup after them. Will never stay at this place again. Management is not available on weekends and is not reachable so you are on your own !!!! Spooky!!!

This is a nice new construction hotel. The rooms are well sized and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. They do have a "hot breakfast" here. It is located close to lots of restaurants and shopping locations that are within easy walking distance (<0.5 mi). On the "down side" the curtains don't block out the morning sunlight very well and the Wi-Fi is not secured and continually drops!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Very nice people at desk and helpful. Our room was pristine and everything was new and beautiful. I am very picky so Belize when I say this. The coffee was not hot and wish they served earlier than 7 as we had athletes who needed to get to their tournaments. Besides that I highly recommend. We will def stay here again.

The rooms are nice, the hotel is fairly new. Outside is a bit of an issue. There are no trash cans anywhere and as a result, the property is littered with trash outside. They allow pets, which is nice, but again, no trash cans so people don't pick up the dog poop because there's no where to dispose of it. As a result, there's dog poop everywhere and it smells. Also, the back of the door says that checkout is at noon but it is actually at 11. The front desk clerk was kind enough to call us and inform us, which sped up our check out routine which was fine. In all, there are a lot better choices in the area for the money.

We didn't actually get to stay here, but I'm writing the review based on the service we got. We were traveling to Wichita to see a specialist for our son's eye. While there we wanted a hotel with a pool so we chose La Quinta. When we got there we got all checked in and when they were running through amenities and hours of different services they said the pool was closed for maintenence. As soon as she said that I reacted and she saw it. She asked me if that was going to make a difference and I said yes. She let me go out and talk to my wife, and when I got back they canceled the room with no fees and no kfuss about the cancelation. I travel a lot. And most hotels I've stayed at would not be this good about an issue with the pool (pools are known to be closed at random times and not all hotels will cancel last minute with no fee just because it is). I will certainly stay here again in the future just based on their service. Absolutely fantastic.

I have returned to upgrade my initial review that was four stars with no actual review since I gave it automatically upon arrival. This location is very nice. Every last one of the staff members that I saw was very friendly. I used to travel for work and I must say to Ms. Jasmine Parson that your staff are the absolute best I have ever seen. The breakfast spread was exceptionally well rounded with just about anything you could desire for breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and should I have a reason to return to Wichita, you have secured any of my future business.

The hotel is great.....but the staff is incredible. Jasmine, Kyle, Lanier, Ondrionna, Jamil, Alissa and Shelby are amazing and we are not as easy bunch of travel basketball parents. We come back every year because of the staff. Jasmine Parson is a breeze to work with. She is simply the best!! Will not stay at another hotel in Wichita as long as the staff stays.

Beautifully clean, professionally offered hotel. We were promptly and warmly greeted with efficiency. The front desk staff was accommodating and greeted us as Honored members. The rooms were ready on arrival. The bedding was soft and fresh. Everything we required was waiting and well stocked in our rooms. This is definitely our go to stay in Wichita, KS.

Overall a great over night stay. However, as we entered our room we quickly discovered there was no electricity to any of the lights or outlets. On our way to an event, staff took care of it and was on when we returned. Second floor ice machine was not functional. With such a small variety of sodas, why have a vending machine? Water was 4 bucks a bottle, so had to go back out. Beds were phenomenal and great pillows.

We stayed for the night on 6/8/23 and was very impressed with the hotel, their staff, and facilities! It was very clean, and had plenty of room for our family of 4, with 2 fluffy queen sized beds! It allowed dogs, which I unfortunately am allergic to, so we had a very clean pet free room. I love the design of the bathroom, small closet, Cooking nook (microwave, fridge, & coffee maker), large work desk, and the chair with the perfect reading lamp in the corner! The lamps between the beds and on the desk were also built with USB outlets, so we could charge many of our devices at once! The large lobby/lounge had a great atmosphere with 2 flat screens playing movies, several different types of tables and chairs to work or socialize. There was a courtesy station for everyone to make their own cup of coffee, tea, or enjoy some iced water. My daughter & I found it very relaxing to work on some drawing practice for several hours, while my husband and son enjoyed the weight room and indoor pool. The bartender (Amanda?) that evening was very friendly and sociable. She made me a couple delicious margaritas, and Shirley Temples for my daughter, during our 5 hours of sketching. The breakfast area was great! They had juice, yogurt, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, different bread items, eggs, sausages, and 2 different types of waffle makers! The only negative, is that the ice maker wasn’t working on the 2nd floor, but I used the elevators to use the one on the 1st floor. No biggie! It happens! Thank you for making this a comfortable stay, as we travel along to our next destination!

Much nicer than anticipated! The reviews were all over the place- so I was a little worried but our stay was very nice - room very clean/ modern/ renovated. It was quite. Pet friendly! Work out facility new and clean/ public restrooms nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again!! I actually added it as a saved hotel for future road trips!

Pool was closed, bar was closed, rooms are small. Cramped. The bar was closed due to understaffing (which is not surprising these days - understandable) the pool was closed because a kid got sick in it, not the hotels fault but they couldn’t get it cleaned and reopened for a few days. The staff was very friendly but some weren’t trained too well, however they were really busy and fully booked. The reason one were clean. For a budget and one night stay it’s a great location and clean.

Stayed here on a work trip. No complaints at all. Clean room, quiet location, breakfast was great, showers work well, all amenities were nice (I didn't go to the pool, but the gym was good). Would stay here again.

Great room and location. Just really a poor customer service experience. Would have thought a corporate owned hotel would have had better onboarding for customer service training.

Would not stay again. Bathroom had hair plus a big spider ! Toilet hardly flushed, tub needs refinished . Rang bell at desk for check in for very long time. Half room of toilet paper for five nights stay and three people, had to go get more. Hotel used to be great. It's run down and you had to search for staff for your needs.

Hotel is decent for its price. Hot breakfast is available in the mornings. Excersise room and indoor pool is a plus. Rooms are always clean. Entertainment and dining options are close.

This place is awesome. Huge open lobby nice bar to the left as you walk in. Large gathering area to the right. Gathering area is equipped with a long raised conference table with built in connections for plugging in a laptop and phone. Cleverly hidden.on the table top. Rooms are modern and clean. Lots of dining and places to go very near the hotel. Also a nice shopping mall right next to the hotel. Easy in and out for travelers. I highly recommend La Quinta & Suites if you are traveling through or staying in the Wichita area

The noise level was terrible, we were on first floor and constant banging was above us! It kept us up all night! The walls are very, very thin. The banging sounded like people running continuously! The toilet made an unbelievable noise when it flushed. I know it sounds like I’m just complaining but, I never review anything! This was just over the board noise! BEWARE

Arrived at 3:30pm, waiting in line to check in a couple was requesting a room change and another woman was upset that she had been here 3 nights and still had not received the towels she had requested. Her husband moments later came down and started yelling about the towels. It was a whole scene. Then once I got to the front, the hotel staff told me my room wasn’t ready and asked me to wait 15 minutes. Room was ready in 15 minutes as she had said and when I walked in the room it smelled like body sweat and women’s perfume. It was repulsive. The bed was so lumpy that I’m sore after sleeping on it. The pillows smelled like they haven’t been washed in weeks (like hair sweat). Not only that but checkout isn’t until noon and at 10:15 housekeeping tried coming into my room to clean even though I had a do not disturb sign on the door. Not only that, but there was a dog barking down the hallway late at night and early in the morning, and you can hear literally anything in the hallway as if the person is talking directly in front of you. I give them 2 stars simply for the fact that the receptionist didn’t lose her cool when that man started yelling at her about towels.

We love staying here ! The staff are very nice and it’s very clean and has a great location and quick to get on the highway or around town and is close to places to eat and to shop. We come for medical reasons right now and they are very accommodating to us during this time which means a lot! So we are very appreciative and grateful ! Overall great place to stay when in Wichita.

Clean, quiet hotel with professional staff. I requested and received an early check in with no trouble. Great property if you are traveling with dogs as there is a large field adjacent to the parking lot.

The front desk lady was super nice. There were many downsides I found to the hotel room. It had red stains on parts of the carpet. The walls were dirty, the bathroom was not too clean. There were dust on the lamps, drawers, etc. It was not vacuumed at ALL. It had small trash everywhere.I didn’t feel too confident to stay there. The front desk was accommodating and let us change the room to a handicap room (only room they had left) without an extra charge. It was way better, but the cleanliness was lacking too. The food was not too great either. Friendly staff though. Not staying there again :/

Stayed 7/14/2022 Traveling with family and after checking in and get some dinner we settled in for bed. As I slip my feet in the sheets I felt something “off”. I looked and someone else’s dirty socks were at the bottom of the bed!!! Absolutely disgusting! I called down and they brought up new sheets but told me they have had problems with housekeeping lately. I told the assistant GM the next morning and she seemed unfazed. Barely apologized and said and did nothing to assure me she would take any further action. The hotel looks nice but I wouldn’t stay here again. It takes just as much effort to make a bed with clean sheets as it does to make a slept in rumpled bed. This was pure laziness!

I can not give this place a positive review not due to staff or the overall room appeal but because of stains on the comforter and the feather pillows that were requested NOT to be there. I am severely allergic to down and made sure my husband requested not to have them. I'm glad my husband checked otherwise my face, arms, and any other place my skin would have touched would have had a painful red rash. I understand we arrived late in the evening however, why give the option upon booking for special requests yet not follow through. There is a disconnect somewhere that needs improvement. I would also like to state I'm a former house keeper for hotels and usually try to help by stripping the beds. Unfortunately, this time it won't be possible. 😔

A mixed bag. First 2 nights were great but then they had a plumbing issue and shut water off the the building. 1 hour turned into 4, then 6. They kept giving erroneous EVA'S on repair before we found out the "emergency" plumber hadn't even contacted them some 7 hours after they called it in. They told us if we didn't like it we could seek other accommodations and they would credit us for the day. 3 days later as I write this and still no credit. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. It's too bad they chose to deceive us.

Overall a decent stay however they failed on ensuring clean bedding. Wouldn’t say this would detour me from staying here again as the location is nice but definitely should give your room a good look over if staying here.

The only reason for 4 star was the breakfast. Love the bartender she is a great face of the company. We spent hours sitting at the bar, drinking, talking and watching TV. The amazing customer service we got from the bartender is worth us coming back. Location is close to plenty of eateries for all budgets and tastes. Close to shopping which came in handy for us since the weather dropped to 17 degrees and we needed a coat.

So bad they cant even spell my name right when the respond to my review. Just seals the deal as a badly managed hotel. Car was vandalized and had car seat and $300 box of card games stolen out of it. No video surveillance on the parking lot at this location " hotel isn't responsible for car vandalism". The coffee maker was missing pieces, could not make coffee in room. In room microwave was missing glass plate and mostly useless. Sheets had stains on them. The breakfast was mediocre at best, frozen eggs and something gross that was labeled sausage, along with typical waffle maker, muffins, oranges and some dry cereal. Hotel was filled with loud surly unsupervised tweens from a tournament next door, I suspect this is typical for most weekends. Staff looked like they hated their life at the hotel for most of the weekend. If you not attending a tournament at Wichita Sports Arena next door, stay somewhere else, can't recommend this location.

I was not given the room I booked, the front desk women was so rude and unprofessional and treated us so horribly. We missed part of the Disney on Ice show which was the whole reason we where there and my daughter had to sleep on the hard floor because they messed up and refused to help or do anything in any way. So not only did I have a horrible stay I lost out on a show we went to see and therefore lost money.

I'm a traveller from Australia. My room had beautifully modern decor, its clean, smelt NEW, very comfortable, I had control of my own air-conditioning, very pleasant to stay in, very spacious room. The staff don't bother or wake you up in the morning. So far it has been an enjoyable stay. There were so many people in the foyer when I arrived & a party gathering (which is a good sign that the hotel is popular). The WiFi drops out but no biggie, I have found that happens everywhere in Wichita so far. I am staying here for 2 nights, if all continues to stay good up until I leave, I will keep my comments & the 5 stars up here.

I stayed there for 2 nights and the front desk lady named Linda! Was absolutely amazing and so kind, she got me checked in very quickly and made my stay very comfortable and in the middle of the night when my baby ran out of milk, she provided some when she didn’t have to so I didn’t have to leave in the middle of the night, also every time I went to the lobby she was so sweet and was always cleaning and working hard. I definitely recommend this hotel as there staff were more than amazing

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the television. The clerk responded very quickly. The hotel was very clean. Everything was great including breakfast. I plan to stay again next time I’m in Wichita.
