The first impression of the room was very old and run down but I was assured by owner it was clean. I was exhausted from my travels and quickly went to sleep. I paid for a week stay $225. So I did not expect the ritz but my second night there was a Friday and I was awoke several times throughout the night by phone calls and loud knocks on my door from ppl looking for someone. Still I overlooked the inconvenience and was comforted when the owner came through on my request for extra pillows. We went shopping for a little food for the week and found it eaten by mice the next day, which still I overlooked due to the price and area until that night when the mice were running through the room and a bedbug was crawling on my pillow and when I went to get a paper towel to clean it a bed bug was on the paper towel. This was 1am and that point I knew I had to get out of there. I went to the owners and asked for a refund and a room change. He said he would spray for bugs in the morning if I chose to stay (which I did not) and refused to give me a full refund. After some reasoning and being threatened to be turned in for having my daughter with me but not in school (I legally homeschool and shared that info with the owner after telling him I will not be able to give a good review) he then decided he would give me a partial refund. I had to take it so I could get my daughter and I out of there but I was astounded that he did not give me a full refund as I had to wash all my belongings and lost food while staying in his almost unlivable conditions. Also I should of been alarmed as beds were outside of rooms probably due to bedbugs. I went down the street in the middle of the night to imperial motel where the owner allowed me to look at two rooms and choose which I wanted and they were both clean, quiet, bigger and $45 cheaper a week. I am not one to leave a review unless it was a great stay or horrible one. This unfortunately was a horrible experience.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. the room was filthy there were roaches in the room, teenagers in the parking lot fist fighting all night long. the air conditioner was broken, towels were dirty and had lipstick on them. the tub was chipped and cracked. we would have been better off sleeping in the car on a Wal-Mart parking lot. we had a set check in time and had to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to check us in. the hall to the room was full of trash and junk.

I did not like it at all. For what we paid it was not worth it. The room smelled terrible, housekeeping was not good.To many weird people just hanging around all hours of the night & the people that ran the place were so rude to us & we weren't even the problem.👎

It wasn't bad. The bed was comfortable and had clean sheets. There was no cockroaches or rodents. Don't know if they have a 2 bed room though. I would recommend asking if you have more that 2 people or if you don't want to share a bed. Free internet, just ask them for the password. Service was good. They were very nice and cooperative. I think it deserves at least 2 1/2 stars, possibly 3 but not 4 because of the small space and dirty walls. It is good considering how cheap it is, compared to others. I would stay there again.

I do not recommend this place at all. My experience was poor. Junkies and people trying to gain access into room at night. Activity going on all hours of the night right outside my door Had to call police twice and the front desk 3 nights. Rooms are dirty and room service is when they get around to it. There is no handicap accessibility to office or rooms. The cost is $40 a night.

It's trashy. The owner needs to replace ALL the carpeting and repaint every room! If you like coach roaches you'll like the Trail.

The Trail is a nice place to stay. Property was clean and so were the room and linens. Wonderfully polite staff eager to make your stay a nice one. For the price and the fact of no insects or rodents- I will be staying there again in the future.

Seen my girlfriend and relaxed for awhile. I was super 😭 when I had to go

I wouldn't dare stay here have my phone stoled at the QuikTrip and had to locate my phone there how waspy I would strongly not recommend this due to its location and high foot traffic and other challenges around that area

Good clean rooms. And cheap. The owner Sam is very nice. And if you call ahead you can request one of the newly renovated rooms. Cable TV with HBO and Showtime. Mini fridge and microwave.

Overall fair, rooms could use an update. Friendly service! Great flexible prices $300 a week, $55 a night.
