I
was
recently
evicted
&
had
no
choice
but
to
go
to
a
motel
while
my
housing
situation
was
in
transition.
I
called
all
the
motels
on
Broadway
that
were
south
of
Kellogg.
Of
the
ones
who
answered
their
phone,
Sunset
was
the
most
affordable.
It
also
peaked
my
interest
in
that
it's
the
closest
motel
near
the
police
substation
at
Pawnee
&
Broadway.
I
dreaded
having
to
move
into
the
motel,
I
feared
it
would
be
absolutely
horrible.
I'm
so
glad
I
was
wrong.
The
couple
that
runs
the
place
is
super
sweet.
I
was
surprised
to
find
a
microwave
&
mini
fridge
in
the
room.
Yeah,
it's
a
bit
run
down,
but
you
get
what
you
pay
for.
Nothing
of
mine
ever
got
stolen.
(I
lived
at
the
motel
for
over
a
month,
went
to
work
5
days
a
week,
everything
was
where
I
left
it
every
time
I
came
home).
There
was
only
1
disturbance
the
entire
time
I
was
there,
&
it
was
legit.
(Someone
had
called
911
from
a
room
phone
&
hung
up,
the
police's
locator
equipment
couldn't
decipher
which
room
the
call
came
from,
so
they
were
going
down
the
row
knocking
on
every
door)...
I
rarely
heard
my
neighbors,
there
were
never
any
loud
parties
going
on.
The
housekeeping
lady
is
also
super
sweet.
All
in
all,
it
was
not
near
as
bad
as
I
had
feared
it
would
be.
&
being
a
cheapy
south
Broadway
motel,
it
far
exceeded
my
expectations.
