Fairmount Coffee Company

Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 This is one of several Wichita coffee spots with an elevated game. Excellent coffee, carefully pulled shots make this a necessary stop when I'm close. Necessary means that no reasonable option is close and nothing but Fairmont will do. People often mention coffee, great, good, delicious, students, love,

Fairmount is such a great hidden gem -- special bright spot in an area of town where your nearest other options are Starbucks! Solid, open, bright, tall ceilings, open air when the weather is nice, wonderful for getting a lot of work done on your laptop without distractions :)

Coffee: We ordered one machiato and a cappuccino. Both of them tasted really good and it was exactly the type of coffee one would want on a chilly evening. This has to be me in my fav places for coffee now. Ambience: The ambience was warm and peaceful. Perfect for a coffee date. Cost: The price was fair for the type of coffee. Service: The service was quick. Overall Experience: Excellent

Great place to sit outside in the morning fir coffee. Usually work out at the YMCA then head to the fairmont. If you gonna Friday the breakfast rolls breads might not be available. Don’t know if they just have enough for the week.

Cute spot with an authentic coffee shop vibe for both college students and non students. Lots of space, plenty of seating, good coffee and baked goods, natural light, quiet enough that you don't have to yell to have a conversation and great customer service. On a busy day you may have to fight for a laptop plugin along the wall but that may not be a problem.

Great; coffee, food, service. The environment is comfortable, spacious and clean. Free WiFi, board games provided if you would like to play a game while you drink coffee.

Fairmont is always delicious. They have rotating pastries and a seasonal drink menu. It's a great place to study as well. I recommend the mocha or any of the smoothies and cookies.

Amazing coffee! I had the caramel latte with oatmilk and it was delicious. I tried my boyfriend's iced caramel macchiato and it was very good! One of the best coffees I've tasted! The food in the display cases looked yummy, but did not try yet. The cookies were large! The atmosphere and dining area were very welcoming and comfortable! Very clean as well. The staff was friendly! Will go back again!

A lovely, cozy, place to meet. A friend and I met there right when they opened @ 7am. There were others waiting for them to open as well. Service was quick and the staff pleasant. The prices seemed a bit higher, but when I received the coffee, tea and coffee cake I was satisfied. They portions were sizable and the products delicious. There were comfortable sofas and big comfortable chairs with pillows to sit on; table options to sit on and eat at as well. In a room off from the main one, there were board games for playing. The music playing wasn't loud or random. Throughout the hour I was there people streamed in 1 and 2 at a time but it never felt crowded or rushed. Would definitely visit again.

No pour overs - but I’ve decided I can’t ding a place for that. As usual, I just get black light or medium roast (mighty pennant roast)and it’s got pretty good flavor notes which is nice. I did get a warmed up cinnamon roll and it was great. Just the right balance of frosting and cinnamon yum in the middle. The amount and sweetness of the frosting was skirting the edge of too much, which made it just right. As Mario Andretti said, “if you’re not on the verge of crashing, you’re not going fast enough.”

The chick with the greasy bangs and huge forehead was extremely rude upon being asked what she recommends. Completely unhelpful and was condescending giving us dirty glares and tapping as though she was getting impatient as we were looking at the menu. Coffee also tasted like dirt.

Very good coffee! Decent breakfast and sandwiches menu. Nice seating area, looks like it is a converted house. A few seating spots outside. Right accross the street from Wichita State U. Good place for students and alumni to hang out at.

Everything I've ordered has been delicious. The sandwiches are bigger and tastier than any chain restaurant burger. The smoothies are delicious, cold, and not chunky. And the cookies? YUM and about the size of my face.

Stopped by to get a drink and the staff was super helpful and gave great recommendations. I wanted something summery and got a blackberry lemonade (and my friend got an iced matcha latte). Both were fantastic! Cute place to stop by for a drink or to stay and study.

Great place to work on homework, personally, I love to sketch. There is a great atmosphere, not to quiet but not too loud, good coffee menu too.

It is great to be there. It's my first time but I'm already in love with this place. Go with your friends and family and you will definitely have a great time together at this place.

Ordered twice already from Fairmount Coffee Company, and because they are DoorDash orders, I expected them to be not all that great. However, the three drinks I've ordered have been consistently enjoyable and made my days. I also appreciate their delicious Maple Bacon Scone and their succulent breakfast sandwich — which is 100% customizable with various proteins, toppings, and even the option for gluten free bread. Give this place a try, whether you're in person or ordering from home. They will not disappoint.

I’ve been going to Fairmount since they opened and I love it so much. My friends and I talk all the time about how much we love this place. They’re product is so consistently good and delightful. I always love to see what’s new for their seasonal drinks. Their environment is always wonderful.

Fairmount coffee is a well maintained establishment that has a relaxed and laidback atmosphere. It is also popular study spot among college students, with Wichita State University just a cross the street. If that wasn’t enough Fairmount Coffee has great tasting coffee with fantastic selection of food. Would highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely love it! The relaxing environment is perfect for studying, socializing, or just vibing/hanging out! They’re open later than most coffee shops in the area (that I know of) which is my favorite part!

Great coffee, Great environment. Good place to meet with your friends if your a collage student and prices aren’t bad relative to chain coffee alternatives

Love this coffee shop to chat or study. They are really good about answering questions regarding dietary restrictions. Be aware gluten-free people that there aren't any baked goods for you, but there are amazing lattes!

Good food, and great coffee. Haven't had any of the cookies or sweets yet, but they look delicious. I'll try them next time and update with the info.

Such a cute local spot, right off of WSUs campus too. Service was good and reasonably efficient. Lavender honey latte (I did half sweet, which I recommended) was delicious! Thoughtful basket of food for people in need inside the foyer.
