The Donut Whole offers an array gluten free donuts (many of which we bought and are pictured below) every Sunday, which was our biggest draw — as we were accommodating team members with specific dietary needs. They met our needs perfectly, tasted wonderful, and the service was great to boot, as the barista on duty anticipated my needs by taking my coffee order while we were still in line. Given that I had somewhere to be, this was exactly the kind of thing to win me over on the 5-star rating. Great work, and I hope to see this place again!

Good cake donuts that you can buy for $1.50 each, which is a good price these days. Many flavors offered along with coffee/espresso/lattes. Kind of quirky decor if you like that kind of thing. The sit-down dining area seemed a little loud. We went on a Sunday morning around 10:00 and wasn't too busy. They also offer vegan donuts.

Kids loved the cake donuts, and the chalk board. Definitely try their coffee too! We loved the hazelnut macchiato.

Loved the artsy flair! I had to sign my name on the chalk wall. This donut shop is different, the donuts are cake donuts, - no raised donuts. The Twix donut is so creamy and delicious, was my first choice. Who stops at one donut? Also tried the lemon, loved it. This is a fun little shop. It has a drive up too! The Donut whole is number 36 in the Secret Wichita guide the first place on my list. There is a chicken on top of the building and a portrait of Colonel Sanders inside but no fried chicken just delicious donuts!

Loved the variety of donut flavors to choose from! I had the berry streusel and the samoa donuts, and they were both delicious. Not only are the donuts great, the coffee is even better. I had a macchiato and tried my husband’s latte - they make them just right, nice and strong. The place itself has a quirky and fun vibe. I’d stop here again.

Really good donut place. Lots of unique flavors too such as pb&j and donuts topped with cereal. Also they have coffee. Really there's not much not to love.

I haven't tried the donuts but they look amazing and I'm sure they taste lovely. But I ordered boba through Doordash. I got two large strawberry milk teas with black boba one with coconut milk and one with almond milk. When I received them they were an odd brown color which I found woerd since coconut milk and almond milk are both very light and i got a strawberry flavor so od think it'd have some color. But I figured it was just the boba anyway so I tried it and it was not very good it was very bland and it just tasted like milk not even balmond or coconut it was more like skim milk. So I added some sugar and it was fine but then I got to the actual boba and it very very disgusting and I think overcooked it was not like any boba I've had before I've tried leaf teahouse and kung fu tea and the boba was exquisite but this boba was so horrible and I spent about 15 the same I'd spend at the other two places maybe a dollar less and it was just wasteful and horrid I'm so sorry but it was very bad

AMAZING gluten free donuts! I hadn’t had a donut in two years and kept missing their Tuesday/sundays. Well now they have them all the time and I may have been better off not knowing that haha! They’re wonderful! Always friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Donuts are great (if you love cake donuts). Lots of variety you don't find elsewhere. Service is always so-so to apathetic. Went back today after not being there in about a year and same as before. Booths and floor were dirty.

We get donuts from here because they're good but their customer service is not good. They don't look at you when they talk. They don't respond when asked a question. They don't greet you and they don't smile..it's as if you're bothering them. I'll be looking for another donut spot.

I love going and getting their donuts. one of the best donuts around. I love they have vegan and gluten free donuts. This is the only place I have come across gluten and free and vegan donuts. I wish they had a few that were both. I am dairy and gluten intolerant and feel I cannot focus on one or the other at times. I always get disappointed with the coffee. They never give me enough milk or make my coffee super strong. My daughter loves the donuts but finds the hallway creepy. I always wish they had more seating and that the tables were cleaned more often.

If you go in the door on the Douglas St side it is an adventure walk to get to the treasure that is donuts. If you enter from the parking lot side it's inviting and you walk immediately into the treasure mine that is donuts. These donuts are spectacular. No big production or flashing red lights or much in the way of marketing. You are simply presented with what you came for: donuts. I don't live far from the shop and there is little that prevents me from a daily visit except they are a little pricey (I believe). These donuts are on a different level than most you will find elsewhere. If you have ever had donuts in Round Rock, TX and are hankering for the same experience in Wichita go here.

This was my first time in several years to stop by the Donut Hole. I ordered only one Maple Bacon donut. The donut was small compared to most shops. It was quite dry, frosted very minimally and had maybe a teaspoon of bacon bits. I felt the price of more than $2 ($2.61 w/tax) was too much for such a small donut. Maybe it was good if thinking of a diet.

I love this donut shop. They are always so kind and have the best tasting donuts. My mom can't gluten, so we're very grateful for their gluten free options. I've been going here since I was a very little girl, this place was a big part of my childhood ❤

I ordered donuts using Door dash as a treat for my coworkers. I am not from Wichita, so I picked this company solely based on the picture posted on DD. I was not disappointed. The donuts I received were beautiful. I had a hard time picking one. Thank you.

What a fun little shop and freindly people. Had the cream cheese and Graham cracker topping and the maple bacon doughnut. I will agree with another review that they are small but very filling and the yave great flavor.. Definitely worth a try.

What happened to The Donut Whole?? This place was amazing a few years ago. Now their hours are incredibly limited, and at least today they had an extremely limited selection of donuts, NONE of which were fresh. The display cabinet didn't have labels for 80% of the donuts, and the only person working there seemed annoyed when we asked which donuts were which. We were charged $15 for six dry donuts... If this is how they run their business now it's incredibly disappointing.

Super cool, chill spot. Amazing GLUTEN FREE donuts at an extremely fair price. Melissa, the owner is a total sweetheart and went out of her way to service my friend and I. They host super awesome events with local artists/musicans. Looking forward to hanging out here more often. ♥️

The gluten-free donuts are top notch! I'm allergic to gluten and have never had any issues. It will be great to have more flavors back! It seems that there are less options since a few months.

This place is soo cool and the donuts were yummy! All the donuts we got were more of an old fashion type of donut not the yeast donuts like you see many places. They had soooo it made it hard to decide! They had vegan and Gluten free. It has more seating and tables than expected. All of our donuts were soft and not overly sweet and it made me want more!

Definitely expensive the donuts wernt all they were cracked up to be and the bacon ones littery only had one bite worth of bacon for the whole donut the butterfinger on vanilla was pretty good though. The server however was rude as hell, when we ask for descriptions or what something was she either ignored us told us she couldn't help or just said im busy. Along with the fact she didn't make our beverages correctly. I understand being busy but the respones and tone of her voice was unprofessional and unpleasant for the experience. The only reason im leaving 2 starts is because of the butterfinger donut.

I was excited to try a new donut place today. Drove into the drive thru no-one helped us. Reversed to the door. My wife got out of the truck to go inside and order. At which point the RUDE lady behind the counter informed my wife she was blocking the drive thru. I will not be back ever. I will not give you a second chance. If your drive thru is broken and says to pull to the wind and a customer does, then does not get help, they usually drive away. However we went the extra mile to actually try to come in and still got rebuked and no help.

Stopped in at 2pm on Sunday and were the only two in the shop. THE gentleman that helped us was very friendly. We both had a peanut butter with marshmallow cream donut. It was delicious. Great place to stop for an inexpensive fix for a sweet tooth.

Yummy local coffee and donut shop, to catch up with an old friend to enjoy a good book, in the heart of downtown Wichita. Bonus they have vegan donuts every day now, unfortunately I think they've gotten smaller each time I go back.. still yummy though! Lol

I don't know if I can give a 100% subjective review as I've worked here, but this is the only place I'll eat cake donuts from. The strawberry donuts are the best, but they're only made on special days.

Beautiful place love how homey it feels. My husband and I ordered 4 different types of donuts and each had a hot cocoa. It was all amazing a little bit pricey but worth it. Highly recommend Great service as well.

I am in town for a Celebration of Life, woke up early, and thought I'd grab doughnuts for everyone. This place was a little further away than a few, but the great reviews made me want to give it a try. And I am SO glad I did. They only serve cake doughnuts, but, they have so many varieties. Not only were the doughnuts delicious, but they were a hit with everyone. And the service was impeccable! Made for a great start to our day. I highly recommend checking them out, if you haven't already. And if you have already been here, aren't you due for another visit?!

Huge variety and very friendly and welcoming feel good at home feeling and surrounding. Each donut in the picture was a different type and this ain't even touching the tip of the iceberg on what they have there....the place was overall awesome I highly recommend it.

Oh my! I have had these brought into my business before but I had never been in. I mistakenly parked and went into the front door which is a game room. Venturing down the hallway I just followed the amazing aroma of donuts and found the heavenly display cases showing me why I will die younger. I purchased a dozen of these beauties and brought them to the office for our weekly staff meeting. I do highly recommend the pineapple upside down donut. Yum!

Extremely disappointed with this place, I walk there at least twice a week to get coffee and donuts. This morning I had walked to get a donut and coffee, I had the exact amount of money for it, while walking my mask must have fallen out of my pocket. I opened the door and asked if they had complimentary disposable masks, the lady had said no, they are $1. I stated loud enough that I had not brought my entire wallet and if I buy a mask I won’t have enough to get what I planned on getting, and she responded they are a $1 in an extremely rude voice. With experiencing this it told me that they will not go out of their way by giving a .10 disposable mask in order to keep a regular weekly customer. No effort to say “we can serve you through the drive thru window” or “what would you like we can bring it out to you”. It’s small things like that, that customers remember and keeps them coming back. They have a sign that says support local, well how about support your customers who keep you open especially while the economy is crashing

Went on a Saturday early and their selection of donuts were not great. Only had a few choices out and they were almost gone. Did notice after we paid for our donuts they open oneof their cases and they had a better selection of donuts they hadn't put out. It been nice to have all the ones they have out for the customers to see.

I do not understand the hype around this place. I’ve been trying to come in since I moved here from Cali a few months ago, and been on the hunt for a good coffee shop - this is NOT it. I got an old fashioned donut and a half nutty for $5, SUPER expensive considering it’s about a third of the size a donut should be, but I don’t mind pricey for a delicious donut; these were terrible. So Dry, cakey in a bad way, unpleasant texture, no flavor past the sugar coating, not worth .50 c. The coffee was pricey too, which again -no problem for a good cup. The coffee was SO BAD; it was slightly bitter (which is fine if I’d ordered a macchiato, but I didn’t, I ordered a Hazelnut Latte, this was neither. I tasted no hazelnut, bitter latte, and the flavor of the coffee itself was just really bad. Idk what brand or origin of coffee they use but it is really bad. I thought maybe I was being a bouggie B***h bc Ive had coffee in many places, but my bf rarely drinks it and he was the first to say.. somethings not right with this. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. At the very least I thought it would be a vibey, hipster joint but it just looked like someone’s aunt’s garage and the 3 employees took close to 10 minutes to make the coffees, even though I was the only one there.; they just chatted it up w/ each other super loud the whole time- it was awkward and unwelcoming. I spent $17.50 just to eat a crusty, dry donut and 2 sips of coffee before my Bf threw them both into the garbages. 2 stars: 1 bc the employees WERE nice, and 1 for the Chicken Mural outside, which sadly, was the best thing about this place. Just save your $$ or go to Starbucks until Dutch Bros opens.

I love the Donut Whole and super appreciate the option of GF donuts, I only wish I could get them every day. But I make a point of going every Tuesday to get some naked GF donuts and coffee for dipping. Enjoying them right now. The BEST service. Get this! I walked to the DW last Tuesday when my car was in the shop. It was frigid sub freezing temps and they took pity on me and insisted on driving me back to work. They just would not let me walk back in that cold <3 Talk about above and beyond service! WOW! I think Angie would be pleased with the new owners and how kind they are. I'm really happy the DW was inherited by such nice people who stuck to her vision <3 The donuts are delicious as ever!

These cake-style doughnuts feel very decadent to eat! It's not like eating air, the way you feel with some doughnuts. These doughnuts feel homemade, not mass produced. I recommend the triple berry flavor. And if you don't want to go inside, they have a drive through around back.

Always have creative donuts and good coffee drinks - especially irish cream flavor - iced coffee with cream and sugar. Also good smoothies - strawberry and mango. And yerba mate if you're into that.
