Front desk is polite. Servers are welcoming and knowledgeable. Owner is a master at his craft and hospitality oozes everywhere. Most important, the product is as close to perfect as you can get.

My son got your chicken Katsu, I had the Tofu vegetable currie. Menu looked amazing. We will definitely be back!

First time eating here. The atmosphere is very classy and is reflected upon the food presentation. Service is fast and friendly. The food is fresh and prepared to the customers liking. I ordered the sashimi dinner and was super impressed with the variety of fish. I ordered a glass of the plumb wine and was not disappointed. The crab rangoon are some of the absolute best I've eaten in a long time.

Moms birthday we went here to eat and I have got to say the service from our waitress was superb just like the food. Sushi was delicious, fried rice was to die for and over presentation of the dishes you can see attached pictures below. This is my new sushi joint.

The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. The music is classy, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We throughly enjoyed our meals, which included the appetizer of Gyoza, a Thanksgiving sushi roll, and the Sushi Dinner set. And also enjoyed a wonderful cup of green tea

Got seated pretty much right away. This is a nice place hidden in a junky looking parking lot. Food was delicious, service was average. Not a whole lot of tables, but it seemed like there was maybe only two servers. Staff was helping each other out. I made sure to tip well. Prices are fair. Nice ambiance. Only complaint is that the ratio of space between the back of the bench to the front of the table is huge. Like, if you lean back, you can't eat, and if you lean forward, there's about 3 ft of space behind you. Felt odd.

Food is always incredible. Portions are big and drinks are always delicious. I got the sashimi dinner, my wife got the fuji roll and chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious and the presentation was stunning.

First time at Sapporo and we will surely go back again. The service started off a bit slow but they did well overall. The staff members were friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. The presentation was very appealing to our palette. The taste was delicious. Highly recommend this place for a satisfying Japanese meal. The place was clean and spacious. Will visit again soon.

Sapporo Japanese Sushi restaurant was a real fine treat for dinner. With the feel of fine dinning but at an affordable price this place was definitely a place to stop if your traveling though the Wichita are and have a craving for good Japanese food or sushi. They had a good selection of food, full bar and the staff was quick, friendly and observing for refills and removing empty plates. The restaurant was busy but not packed. I would highly recommend this place! Coke and Dr. Pepper products.

Sushi lovers gem! This place is great. Every roll tastes fresh. The presentation was supurb. I liked how the sushi had a plate all on its own. It's definitely a place to visit next time I am in Wichita!

The food is always tasting great. I ordered the chicken katsu and I always forget how much chicken they give you. It was very filling and worth the price. It’s very well priced the menu. The drinks also tasted delicious and not watered down. One of my favorite places to get Asian cuisine

Good selections and presentation. Udon noodle broth was bland, (appeared to be good for diabetes sugar control tho). It was quite a wait for the food to come out and for someone to refill our drinks. Average sushi place. Rolls are big for bite size and not impressed with the beef tataki cuts, it was chewy.

My husband and I saw another review and decided to try it. When I tell you it's the best sushi we have had I am not kidding. Not just the sushi but the appetizers and lunch bento box was amazing!

Mediocre service, maybe due to short staff? Appetizers were good. Sashimi as good as the freshness of the fishes. In this case, as fresh as possible in the middle of nowhere. Looked forward to the Toro, wasn’t wowed, definitely tasted the fattiness but not able to call that a “wagyu of the ocean” experience. Arguably the best sushi place in Wichita, coming from an Asian who grew up in Asia, enjoying sushi and sashimi.

Amazing food! First time here! Tried sushi for the first time and loved it! Drinks are amazing! And I’ll make the drive front cheney lake just for those cosmos and lemon drop martinis!!!

Ohhh my goodness, such good food! My family lived in Okinawa, Japan for 7-8 years and we missed the food so bad. This made us feel so good to eat food similar to what we had there. Everything was yummy, from the gyoza to the sushi. I recommend the Kellogg roll (warm, soft) accompanied by the Snow Mountain roll (cold, crunchy). Staff was friendly too! Highly recommend.

Good sushi. Great presentation. Super friendly staff. We had never been to Sapporo before and decided to give it a try after the owners came into my store and purchased some materials for their residence. They were such a pleasure to deal with. Their restaurant is very clean and well kept. We enjoyed our dinner very much. We will definitely be back for more great sushi.

Nice little restaurant, friendly service, fresh fish. The tuna and salmon were great on the day we visited, the yellowtail wasn't great though. Unless you're ordering a bottle of sake, skip the alcohol. Good experience overall.

We were told this is the best Japanese place in Wichita and they weren't kidding. Everything we had was perfect and makes us realize what we've already been eating is sub-par.
