It is a very secure park that is large with a lot of open area for your dogs to run, and I do mean open, I think there may be one tree and a couple little benches the block their way. Unfortunately I visited on a pretty cold and windy morning so there were a lot of people there but it does appear that the park has a lot of people usually and a lot of really playful dogs.

It was a foggy morning, Rocky didn't care. He loves the dog park, he jumps up every time I ask, you wanna go to the dog park?

On behalf of Spot. I believe Spot enjoys coming to Meridan Dog Park. He never turns the opportunity to play with other dogs down. Always filled with excitement, leaves very satisfied and exhausted. A big plus. There are 3 fields, two of which remain open while the third stays in rotation (Small breeds weighing below 25lbs are in one, while large breeds 25lbs and above are in the other.) The fields are gated and each have their own drinking station (a dog bowl and two water fountains for adults and children.) There is a gated shower station in the middle accessible from the middle, right and front of the dog park. *During the Winter, the water is turned off.* The shade is limited to the trees surrounding the edges of the dog park, 3 benches to sit from in all gated fields. Each field has it's own gated enclosures to allow you to unleash your dog before getting into the field. There are potty bag receptacles at each entrance as well as three trash bins. The unfortunate thing is they are only at the entrances so it's best to grab a few to be prepared when your dog does the deed. Busy times are mornings between 6-12 and evenings 5-9, typically during the week. Weekends can differ. Weather/Temperature greatly impacts these time frames. I'm usually part of the morning crew. Dog owners are friendly like their counterpart 4 legged bestfriends. I'm usually having a conversation with one of them or a group of them. Dogs seem to enjoy themselves or when the crowd is light dog owners attend to their buddies. Great people to meet and chat with. The upkeep at this park is prettt good. They mow it, empty the trash, clean up around the place. Parking is limited to about 10 regular spots and two handicap. **The following may be an issue if your dog likes to get dirty, but with proper supervision, you can limit the possibility of your dog getting dirty.** The downside to this Dog Park is, there are a couple muddy areas in each field. The left field has two large muddy areas, by the drinking fountain and under the trees in the far left backside of the field. Two smaller muddy areas in the underside and behind the benches halfway on the sides of the left field. The middle field has one large muddy area by the drinking fountain. One small patch halfway towards the right side and two under and behind the benches. The right field has one large muddy area around the bench on the left side of the right field. This is the optimal preferred field by most dog owners. All in all, I believe Spot rates the Meridan Dog Park 4 out of 4 paws with a spontaneous wagging of his tail. *Nitpicking* There could be more shade(awnings or covered benches), more potty bag receptacles and trash bins throughout the Dog Park so it's not a long walk to the front of the Dog Park. More parking surrounding the fields. The muddy areas (by the drinking stations) to be covered more permanently than temporarily. Last words, Spot & I, look forward to our next visit. Wonderful people and adorable dogs. 👍

Our dog loved to visit here and play with all his friends. The grounds are well kept and the fences are in good shape to ensure no dogs escape. Plenty of bags available to pick up after your pets. Even has water fountain available in the summer.

I love how massive the parks are for the dogs. I believe it is 2 acres dedicated to three fields. There are fountains for water and even a spigot if you need to rinse off your dog. There were several owners and dogs there and everyone was friendly. The facility itself was very clean.

It's literally just fenced in grass. There isn't anything for the dogs to run up on or play around and there's only one bench for the owners to hang out on while their dogs walk around the enclosure. It doesn't take very much to make a dog park nice so I hope this park will be improved upon, but unless it is I will be taking my dogs for more stimulating outings elsewhere.

Nice big area, big dogs and small dogs have separate areas, great way for your dogs to make friends and run to their hearts content, recommended

An actual dog park! It was clean and a good size with well kept fences and adequate seating for dog owners. The only thing I would change is having bag stations in the fields.

I love taking my two dogs to this park! People are friendly. Doggie bags available and water fountains in each area. Very clean and very green.

We have bringing our dog here for about 5 years now!! Friendly dogs most of the time, clean playing area! They do have separate fenced in areas for small and large dogs but you can bring the small ones in the large area. Great place to go I highly recommend

Great little stop for all sizes of dogs! I didn't notice any public bathrooms, or any shoe scrapers in case you accidentally find a land mine. Overall a nice size area for dogs to roam and play! There are free bags on the outside of the gate for picking up happy little accidents, and trash cans for discarding them.

They have 3 fields they rotate through so they all have time to recover. Water fountains available. And a gate "lobby" so it prevents dogs from running straight out of the field when entering or leaving. This is my preferred dog park.

Great dog park, but too many people aren't picking up their poop. Have some respect ya'll!

Good park, fountains work, a little shade. I think all the parks need more covered seating. It gets hot in the summer here if you didn't know. A few more benches and some shade covers would go a long way.

Good dog park and friendly dogs. I would give it 5 stars if owners would pick up after their dogs.

The pups always love going to Meridian Dog Park. There is water (when it's turned on) for drink and dog showers. There are benches for people. There are separate fenced in areas for small dogs and for large dogs. The Pizza Crew approves.

My dogs really love coming here. Even if there are no other dogs, they can spend hours just sniffing and playing.

Nice and big. Has extra baggies for picking up land mines. My dog had a blast running around. Drinking fountains and trash can. Had a few benches and 3 separate areas. Small dogs big dogs and mixed. It was great. Plenty of room to get your dog in then take off the leash before going into the play area.

That was the first time that I had been there at that dog park with my little dog and it's it's great had plenty of room to run, she did real well there I'll take her back as soon as it cools off a little more.

Very nicely kept area. All the fur barbies we met were very well tempered and so were their owners. The park has easy access and stocked we cleanup bags and running water for the pups. Best park in Wichita!

👍👍 Our first visit and the park was much bigger than expected. Myles (my dog) ran around able to stretch his legs. We stayed for an hour and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Make this a weekly visit.

🫤 As far as dog parks go, this place was a disappointment. It's just a couple of rather small, fenced enclosures with no trees and some grass that has seen better days. There were many obvious cases of owners not picking up their dogs' waste. Also, the park seems to be built on a construction landfi...
