This is a nice little park with restrooms and a water area where kids were playing when I visited. Great for a easy walk or to just relax. I visited because I was interested in checking out the Mini Stonehenge Astrological Calendar. It’s small but it was still neat to look at.

Riverside Park is more glorious than ever this summer! The splash pad is busy, dogs walking, squirrels chattering, and kids are laughing.

I love this park! It's SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I just love this place. However, I do NOT RECOMMEND riding the electric scooters that you can rent in the park! They go faster than what they tell you they do. There's no protective gear to wear in case you do crash. Please remember, if you have no insurance and you crash, those expenses are on you! I crashed on one and thank God I have insurance because I broke my foot in 3 places, sprained my wrist and tore my rotator cuff! But the park itself is beautiful. They have a gorgeous sundial clock...I'll add pictures of it. Words cannot describe it. It reminds me of Stonehenge. It's just beautiful! And they have a huge gazebo which I'm not sure I have pictures of. If I do I'll post them. A pond with geese and a river runs through the park. I don't think I have pictures of that but I'll post what I have.

Many schools utilize Riverside Park for all sorts of activities. It's a big area with plenty of fun things to so for any age. There is a good playground for the kids. There are areas to walk or jog. It even has fountains that the kids like to play in.

We really love this park. There's so much to do. Our 2 year old can look at the animals, play on the several different playgrounds or play in the splash park. They have beautiful trees and open spaces. It's a huge park with a lot of options for any age. It's right beside the river too. Just all around a beautiful and family oriented park. Probably one of the best in Wichita in my opinion.

Great place to come with the kids to walk and pick crab apples or take time to play on the playground. There are bikes for rent at the front. Definitely making this a place to go when we visit.

Love this park! It's huge! There's something for everyone like bike trails, tennis courts, a zoo, a playground for the kiddos, plenty of picnic tables, and a water jet play area so bring the swim suits!

Used needle on the ground where we parked. Trash was all over the ground due to homeless issues.

I have participated in drum circles here, and multiple celebrations such as Summer Solstice with the Flinthill Fairies.

We came here for a picnic and were kind of nervous, as all of the shaded picnic tables had people laying on top. We wound up eating on a stump. 😅

For little kids, this is a fun park. What happened to the splash pad fountains? They used to be high to the sky in years past and now they are all super short. Nice playgrounds and the birds of prey and turtles were nice to see.

Super cool little hidden gem in wichita. We stopped by after feeding time and there was a gentleman there so we got to talk with him about the animals. It's free!!! And a great way to spend some time on a weekend (or weekday)

Not crowded at all. There's geese running around. It's well maintained. And it seems safe to me overall.

My granddaughter and I went here on hot Kansas day to cool off in the splash pad. We had a fun time! I love Riverside park. I always have. I do miss the old way Riverside park was. I don't care for the way it has been changed. But all in all it's still a great park!

Grounds are well maintained, with sidewalks throughout the park. Well-aged trees offer shade and there's plenty of space for get-togethers, walks, or rides. Situated near the river, there's always some sort of nature to investigate if you're patient. The Kansas Wildlife Exhibit is also located here and is a hidden jewel worth checking out.

This is a great park in fact it's our favorite. They offer a small zoo for free of Kasnas wildlife. There a nice restrooms, benches, tables, and playground equipment. In the middle of the park is a fountain for playing in lots of trees. This park also offers a interesting artwork.

Best Christmas program by far. We go every year. Kim our girlfriend is in the choir which is amazing and the church is completely fantastic. The live animals is just icing on the cake.

Feed geese frequently across the street, also @9pm the Keeper of the Plains, fire lights up the river. Great time anytime.

We love feeding the ducks, running around playing, looking at the animals and you can't forget the splash pad...

Such a beautiful park with plenty of mature trees to provide shade. We enjoyed walking on the trails of the park . The playground was spacious. The animal exhibit was small, but did not disappoint. We were disappointed that the lawn maintenance turns off the splash pad while mowing.

We went for an outdoors baby shower and everyone had a great time. We found two picnic tables side by side very close to some shady trees. The kids were especially thrilled with the playground equipment. The only problem was the bathrooms were really dirty nobody wanted to use them.

This park is great for a few reasons. 1) Many families come here/family friendly. 2) Centrally located in the City of Wichita 3) Well maintained lawns. 4) Park contains a free wildlife exhibit, a lake, and a gazebo. 5) Splash pads keep the kids cool in the summer! 6) Plenty of picnic tables.

Our Greats LOVE this place even the (2) year old! All of a sudden she's one of the Big kids. They race to the apparatus from the parking by the river ( they love the Geese families) play there and then off to the water park and will be there until... it's hard to say, because they have such a good time. It's a wonderful park , good location, what else do you need?
