The only reason why I even go to the Lynette Woodard Center was cuz my daughter went to their summer camp and it majorly sucks they don't watch the kids as well I hear the boys go in the girls bathroom I just don't like it staff needs to be more attentive of the kids and make sure they're doing what they're supposed to do and they were they are supposed to be I would not recommend this camp for nothing in the world it's got weird timing for the camp 1-4 or 5 can't remember what kind of time is that for a camp not that I was sending my daughter back there anyway and definitely not all day close that damn thing down

This place is too small and out dated. When you come in they look at you as to say what you doing here ? It's so out dated and what they call a computer room is ridiculous!! They only set 3 folks in there at a time to be comfortable. SMH!!!

It’s a nice place to go to walk, hang and play basketball. It has a lot of space to do many sports and I go here often to play basketball with my gf.

Lynette Woodard is great Bj and Angie are friendly and professional. The boxing instructor is great as well, prices are reasonably priced for adults and children.

Not many places to have a nerf war. The kids had one on the playground equipment. Not my first choice for a war and will probably choose somewhere else next time.

Think we visited a very nice church right by here while my X and I were out of town on vacation this past summer. Very quaint

I remember years ago, the Lynette Woodard was THE place to be on a Friday night. Skating at the recreation center would cost $.50 and you could skate all night long. It felt like it was all night, but I was only in the 5th grade. They had their own skates, well-worn and real leather. Reminds me of the Rock Road Bowling Alley that use to be popular. Lynette Woodard always had popcorn and juice for the avalanche of skaters that sweated up a storm, and it had to be free because we never had money to spend. Mama wasn't playing that! But it was always a blast and from what I remember, I had even won a few limbo contests. It's twenty something years later and it's still standing, looking like the Eiffel Tower of the hood. But instead of spooky haunted houses on Halloween and skating on Friday evenings, they have an ample amount of community events people are able to join in. Judo, karate, kick-boxing are just a few of the activities that you could enroll in. A computer lab for public use and since it's now a neighborhood substation, it's safe. That's the BEST feeling you could ever have!!! I don't visit as often as I used to, but that doesn't lower my opinion one bit. It's truly a trove of treasure for those seeking information and trying something different. There is hope after all.
