This is a small park, with no playground or restrooms. It's a great spot to go fishing, go for a walk or run, and to observe wildlife. Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, geese, ducks, rabbits, all kinds of birds, bees, butterflies, and more. One of my favorite photography locations. Bring your water bottle and go exploring by the river.

This park is here as a result of the work done during the 40's, 50's and 60's to change the flood plane by diverting the river and end all flooding in town. Successful! A beautiful job they did, enjoy!

All in all, this is a pretty nice place to take your family or to just get away by yourself. This is a dog friendly trail and park and it seems that people respect that fact in the sense that it isn't littered with "Doggy Business". In all honesty this place seemed to be fairly clear of litter period. Recommended over Sedgwick county park for a peaceful outing

It’s fun to go out on the water isn’t that bad, the waters nicer past the keeper of the planes, you can fish it and do quite a bit of water sports on it, just wish people wouldn’t dump so much trash in it this beautiful resource. Good times and relaxation can be found here if you know where to look.

Nice little park along the river. Cool little trails that lead under the high way and sidewalk leads down the river. Not a whole lot of parking, but easy to get to.

Very nice park to start your ride. Head East/South. You can ride all the way to Chapin Park on the path. About 12 to 13 miles one way.

The parking lot was full of trash lying around. There are plenty of trash cans place everywhere. The group I was with enjoyed the long and wide paths that led us to downtown Wichita.

Great starting point for a float trip to the Lincoln street bridge or a long bike trip!

Nice place to walk or ride your bike. The path runs down by the river.

Great place to walk your dogs, or go fishing. Me and my husband really enjoy walking the dogs here, so I recommend taking your furbabies here!

The Wonders of Creation are clearly evidenced here, and the Presence of the Intelligent Designer permeates this place.
