This would be great if people would pick up after themselves and respect their surroundings. We caught a few channel cat. We brought our dogs and they were able to run and swim. I'm grateful to whomever made this place possible.

Pleasant place to have a good time

1st visit, went for walk, pretty wild prairie look. Dumpsters are available, city outdoors people always amaze with their litter.

Nice lake to fish at. Has a couple docks...boat ramp...shaded areas and picnic tables. We will be back. Drawback is the amount of trash people leave behind.

Beautiful lake and trail but I was here for a couple hours and didn't catch a thing. Also theres a lot of trash left everywhere especially at the docs.

We love to go here and just hang out, do some fishing. It is hard to catch fish here since there’s a lot of regulars that watch the restocking times and fish a lot. However, this is a great place to spend outdoors. Sunsets look amazing from here. I would make sure to lock my vehicle before you go to the lake area.

Today I went and it was clean until I walked to one of the docks, someone left cat food and cans thrown. Also, there was chalk drawn all over it. People should clean after themselves. It’s not hard, there’s trash cans near the parking lot. Besides that it was pretty and peaceful. It is near the highway and train tracks but it’s still nice.

I always saw this beautiful lake from the highway. Today I decided to stop and capture the fall colors. I will be return so peaceful.

Water is a little low but the docks are wonderful and big enough for multiple fishing

Boat launch closed? I could not find the handicap area but there was handicap parking. 2 spaces.

10/24/23 my husband caught one fish. The last few times we've gone we caught a few each time. Previously: The water is pretty low due to drought-like conditions. That may have been why there didn't seem to be anyone catching fish. It was a pretty piece of property. People always trash all the nice places, but it was fairly clean.

kinda garbage for fishing, and there's so much junk everywhere

Kinda lit, Lotta catfish not that great for crappie unless your experienced, got the right stuff and know the right spots.
