Convenient place to park to run along the river. There are several slight elevation changes that enhance jogging and switch it up a bit. To the north you meet the homeless of Wichita as they live under the bridges between parking and Maple Rd. They won't bother you but they have trashed the area. Some spend the day fishing at the boat turn around. Be careful with your pets and loose fishing lures there. To the south it is flat and great for sprints. Lots of police in the area. High viability to passing traffic.

Needed a little quiet time. Enjoyed the breeze in shade with my Mac burger.

Parked for access to bike path and to view the new Harry Street bridge.

Good parking and location for entering or exiting the river for boating.

Has a nice little path to walk around but does have active construction.

Had 2 crash in my work vam a couple times instead of driving back 2 keychi late at night. Like anything un regulated their can be some shady ppl. 3 am a car pulled right next to me radio full blast one guy gets out walks around my van then lost site of him so I get out and pretend to work on something around back of my van out of nowhere 2 guys come up behind me see I'm holding a hatchet and pass by..... they passed by my van 3 times that I noticed sooo I was out ..... there's a couple regulars homeless with vehicles they were chatty and friendly..... I've thought about staying again saves sooo much gas....but lol not sure I will or not
