Great river walk when not flooded

Fish have been taking my bait here for years!!! Love it though. It's a nice place to go in the middle of the city. Wish they opened the walkway up to fisherman!!! Lots of stuff to get snagged on to lose your weights and hooks.

Needed cleaned up after the flood but okay, people really need to pick up their trash after all trashcans are provided for just that reason. They have really changed this area for improvements since I was here last, a lot of new features. Kind of hard to find if your not familiar with the area.

I would give this whole area a fairly low rating coming from the fisherman standpoint because it used to be fairly good fishing spot that had been utilized for the locals for generations and now it is such a hard place to fish now that you cannot fish from above the river you have to fish from the sides which limits the available fish and space for people and it causes a lot of unsuccessful fishing especially when the river is up and move in

Fun place to be. The only problem is when it starts getting dark it isn't a very safe place to be. There were homeless people setting tents up under the bridge and sleeping in the grass.

Very nice. Only bothered by three homeless people for smokes but the fishing is super fun. It was bout 10pm when I was there

Nice quiet place to walk that's away from traffic. Can usually see different birds throughout the year.

People on mopeds, bicycles enjoying the weather.
