I booked a stay here from a hotel booking site. Let me say now that from the price paid, I was expecting a hole in the wall kinda place. Reality was actually in reverse! An extremely clean hotel. All staff I encountered were very professional, likable, & gave understandable answers to my questions. The room i reserved was spacious, clean & everything was in working order. I liked the peace and quite. The only thing I can say that would be negative, is about access doors. I may have overlooked this, but you can only enter or leave from the main entrance. The only other doors I saw were emergency doors at the rear. As this is a long building & I'm a disabled veteran, I would've liked to have had a mid building means of egress. This being said, I really enjoyed the stay & will be staying again when the need arises! I'll also tell others about 316 hotel! To all staff, thank you for allowing me the stay, &look forward to seeing y'all sometime soon!

Great staff!!! Free wine... perfect bed. Good wifi. Rooms are not luxury but for the price they are better than appropriate. Really though, I have stayed in some five star hotels where the service was not half as good. Having genuinely good service really changes the experience. I feel very comfortable here and I'm happy to be here. I do wish that they had some options for food - but I understand that this is not that type of hotel.

Tried to give them another chance because of the staff change. Absolutely horrible! The breakfast cool took it upon herself to ban me and my family after wr had stayed multiple weeks. She shouldn't have even had the authority but they cant keep employees so the new employee just went along and put my family (including a 3 year old) on the street. They don't have locks on the inside of the hotel doors and I caught them in my room stealing prescription medications. When confronted the breakfast cook laughed in my face and said the cameras don't work and its my word vs hers. I filed a police report but was still told to leave. Also the bathtub didn't drain and had an awful smell. I could go on and on but these problems were in every room we stayed in.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. It was easy to get to and nearby other services like food and gas. There's only one elevator and it's a little hard to find at first but it's in no way a major inconvenience. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the make-your-own breakfast option made a unique addition to the regular freen continental. There was also only one entrance and exit which made the lobby kind of congested at all hours. If the need arose, however, we would stay here again.

The hotel looked a bit odd on the outside, kind of a retro look, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The inside lobby was clean, and had an industrial theme to it. The lady working inside was very nice, as well. Check in was easy and simple. Room was clean, had a bit of a musky smell, like the room was damp and we had to open the window. The hotel looks like it used to be an old hotel and they're trying to fix it back up. For adults they have evening cocktails, two free ones per adult. Breakfast in the morning with an omelette bar. Overall experience was very good.

I accidentally booked a room here and was cussing on the drive there because I knew a little about the area around it. Now the next day I'm checking out and get in car. This place isn't bad at all. The building painted with nice colors the lobby is really fancy and the rooms not bad. Got everything a person needs and beds comfy.

Not a good area of town!!! Pictures are very deceiving. Walk in price— even if you have someone across the street in the hospital in an emergency case was $92.00 NOT $38.00 as advertised Attendant at the desk tried to tell me they were full (in the middle of the week)when there was only 8 cars in the whole entire parking lot!! He looked very suspicious— black hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his forehead skankly dresses like some sort of gangster NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!!! Not a good first impression!!! Definitely DO NOT STAY HERE!! Even the hospital staff will tell you that it’s not a good place to stay. When I got back to the hospital in the morning they told me there’s lots of drug activity and the cops are always over there!! Bugs!!! Oh my goodness they were everywhere when you looked behind stuff. VERY CREEPY CRAWLY!!!

Love this place!! Christine was very accommodating! Lovely room. Caring staff! A great experience for my husband and me! We had drinks in the lobby (free) in the evening. Also they provided a wonderful breakfast with specially made omelets, suited to each person's tastes (also free). I believe you could also make waffles and other breakfast items but we were superbly happy with our omelets!! Can't say enough positives for this hotel nestled in old Wichita! Close to a wonderful bike trail along the river!

Very lovely and personable staff, good late night personal service and patience for long distance travelers. Decor in the lobby is nice and unique. They offer breakfast daily. Bathroom and room essentials have an itchy quality that leaves something to be desired, but double bed rooms include a TV, microwave, and mini fridge. No USB charging ports or blocks in rooms and noticed none in the lobby. Bathroom is not somewhere I'd like to spend any time.

Highly recommended!!! Really clean rooms with all the amenities for an excellent price! The people who work here are amazing. They are unbelievably helpful and very nice. The place has been recently renovated and is very pretty inside with nice decor. The dining area is comfortable and the free breakfast is great - omelettes to order, waffles, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, etc. The customer service on the whole was absolutely wonderful. If we ever travel back to the area we will definitely stay here!!!

One of the best hotels my family and I have stayed at in a long time. The rooms were clean, had a pleasant appearance as well smell, and were well stocked as well as cooled. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our 3 day stay. Yet the best part was the breakfast had amazing selection and pleased all 6 of us even those with food allergies every day. The kids were excited to get up and have breakfast together in the dinning area. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

I stayed at this hotel because it got good reviews. I buy by reviews but don't write reviews very often. The good was the friendly staff and fresh made omelettes for breakfast. Our room was fair to poor. Lamp was broke, outlet in the bathroom didn't work, shower curtain had mold, drain for the shower was broke, towel holder was broke, caulking around the tub was old and stained, my wife cut her foot on a small sliver of glass on the carpet. We must have got a bad room because this hotel got good reviews...I will say I got a call from the hotel after I posted this review and she said they were going to address all the issues I posted about!

When you get in the hotel, you feel nice and exalted to see your room; however, as soon as you get in, you feel unhappy and frustrated. Smells terrible, Heather does not work correctly, dirty towels and the Frigobar also does not work.

I checked into the 316 Hotel after a very long shift October 25th. A work for a nursing travel agency so as you can imagine I spend a lot of time hotels. I asked for an early check-in which I greatly appreciated. I slept that day reported to work at 10 p.m. at night. This had just gotten access to Rapid response covid 19 testing. I was tested and came back positive I was sent home or back to the hotel in this case. They contacted the on call of my agency they instructed me to stay put until further notice. I took a shower and fell asleep around 6am. I did in fact oversleep maybe due to the virus. I woke up when housekeeping was at the door around 1030 I apologized for oversleeping. Immediately called the front desk to let them know what was going on and told him I was calling my agency to see if a had missed any calls and what to do next. I of course hadnt left my room since returning from the facility in order not to contaminate any thing that I could avoid so I didnt eat breakfast, get ice, or anything from the vending machines. My agency informed me I could leave the hotel after taking protocol precautions prior to leaving the room then return to my home for 14 days of quarantine. I then called the front desk to ask for biohazard bags for the linen and virex cleaning agent or something equivalent. I got no answer 5 or 6 times. I was feeling a Lil weak so it did take me a Lil while to get all linens together and trash gathered. The housekeeper was trying to come in and I was trying to explain to her what I was needing but the language barrier made it impossible. She went to get the front desk attendant and I explained to him what I needed. He brought me a big black trash bag and said he would be the one handling It so he would know to launder these separately and as far as the cleaning goes he told the housekeeper the were going to "roll" the room and for me not to worry about anything further. I finished up in the room, went to the lobby with gloves on, cleaned the room keys with alcohol, laid them on the front desk. Game for me that he was not able to print me a receipt because I am booked through a third party and so there was nothing to sign either and have a good day. I said okay hold on just a second I would like to inform you of where I was and was not in the building. So i explained that I had not come down for breakfast. I had not to used the guest laundry and had not used the vending machines or the ice machine. He said ok ok and I left the building. The next day I saw an additional charge from the hotel pop up. I called and asked to speak to the manager and he said that was him. It sounded like the same person I had dealt with the day before. I asked about the charges and he informed me was due to late check out and I told him I had called the front desk and told the person that answered what I needed to do and they said that was fine. And that it did take longer due to me not feeling well and that no one would answer the front desk phone so I could bag up the linens. With nothing but snide in his voice he said " but isn't it your fault you over slept?" Yes in fact it was my fault due to feeling like I had just been hit by a Mack truck due to covid 19. I feel like I shouldn't of been charged for another day when I was taking precautions that were for the hotels benefit and I would appreciate a refund. Thank u for your time, Mandi Burns - Barnes

My sister and I came for a girls weekend. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. They all made you feel comfortable and at home with nice touches like warm cookies in the afternoon. The place was clean and the omelet breakfast was good. The location was close to a lot of places we went to. I would stay there again.

Poor room. Lighting, work still being done on the shower, holes in the wall to help run the cords through. The bed was comfortable, but that doesn't make up for everything else wrong. Breakfast was pretty much non existent. I'm glad I did not pay full price, but was still disappointed. I will not be staying here again.

The room was okay. The curtains in the first room were shredded and there were small ants crawling in and out of the heater. So we switched rooms and didn't have any issues with the room after that. But what was worse, when we went down for breakfast in the morning my wife saw one of the workers serving breakfast picking her nose! It was a cheap hotel so I guess we got what we paid for 😞

The other reviews are not exaggerating. The guy at the front desk was nice enough, but had a pit bull chained to the counter, seemingly for protection. Saw some tweakers leaving as we checked in. Saw a roach on the floor within an hour of being there, in addition to being damp and smelling like a mix of smoke and mildew. After we checked back out, some guy on a bike started asking us about the hotel and watched us load our luggage. I felt like we were gonna get robbed. Nice enough staff, terrible area, nasty, dirty hotel. Do not stay here.

Great experience and above and beyond friendly staff. We loved the breakfast so much my son asks if we can go eat there again. Very clean rooms and I got to enjoy the General Managers daily complementary happy hour. Would go back and definitely refer family or friends to the hotel.
