    1 star because the staff here is absolutely terrible, Dr. Timilar is amazing, if they send you to Dr. Amanda it is a waste of time and money. I went in and she sent me home “with covid like symptoms” and didn’t give me anything at all to help and haven’t received anything else for help from them since. Even with insurance it was $100 to go get a free covid test you can get anywhere and no help at all whatsoever. I would go to Dr. Timilar here again but literally no one else.

    Always understaffed on their phones at this E. 21st location and have been for a long time! You get placed on long automated holds whenever you call to talk to doctors nurse, leave a message for doctor or nurse, schedule/change an appointment or try to speak to receptionist at front desk. Called several times again this morning and on hold for over One and Half hours!!!!! Nobody ever answered. Seems be very common problem at the East 21st Street location whenever I call. (Ascension, don't post a reply here saying for me to contact you at a certain number to discuss the situation. Just figure out how to improve your poor patient service on your phones)

    My clinic is closing and I've tried calling this one to find out if they are taking new patients. I've tried 4 times and been on hold for 30 MINUTES. This last time I've sat here reading reviews, and I've decided to move on and even drive to the west side if I have to. They don't sound like a good fit for us after all.

    Have phoned over and over letting the phone play for 2plus hours. "NO ANSWER" Give up and take kids to ER. What a waste of time and money. If phone calls average 5min that's 30 an hour or 240 calls a day. How many appointment actually get made out of those calls.

    Be aware that you'll be bringing your children around rude and unprofessional staff. Staff here has sunk over the years, absolutely terrible at this point. Had a call with "Dana" recently who had an attitude for whatever reason. She also left a nice little gift of hanging up prior to asking if there were any further questions. Hire better staff.

    Dr. Harrington is by far the best Pediatrician in town. She's so good with kids, and gets down on their level. My son always goes in with a smile, and enjoys seeing her. She's very personable, and thorough. I would highly recommend her. Her PA's Ashley, and Karen are also fantastic. The Nurse gets back with you in a very timely manner, if you call with any questions. Thanks Dr. Dr.Harrington for all you do!

    I’ve been taking my kids to Dr Womack, and definitely one of the best bedside manners of any of Dr I’ve ever seen. She’s down to earth, polite, level headed and overall one of the best experiences I’ve had with a Dr. She interacts well with my kids, gets down on their level, age-appropriate conversations with them, using simple language they can understand without using “baby talk”. I had a tragic loss of a child due to medical issues and Dr Womack came to the hospital to comfort me. She later called to see how I was doing and give suggestions on dealing with the loss. She was very empathetic and kind. She’s been very helpful and knowledgeable in figuring out any issues my kids have had, like eczema, getting sick, picky eating etc. She goes above and beyond in patient care. I’ve taken 1 star off because recently if I call the office the receptionist will leave me on hold for 20 minutes or longer before answering the phone. Used to be 5 minutes or less.

    Please answer your g dang phone. I want to schedule a g dang appointment, g dang it! Seriously. Unproffesional... If you're not going to answer the g dang phones, give us an option to schedule appointments online...

    They put you on hold for more than 30 minutes and still not answer. The second time I stayed on hold for a whole hour and still no answer.

    Their office in Andover has lovely doctors but no one answers the phone there. You can't get appointments. Went in and ask, they gave an on line option which doesn't work, and if you call the number on that for help, no one answers, or calls back if you leave a message. Had to give up and go to acute care several times. Not sure if front office is just horribly run so staff can't do their jobs, or if they just don't care.

    I love Dr. Nichols he is absolutely amazing! But we are so close to leaving this office simply because I can never get ahold of anyone! I was on hold for 45 mins yesterday and another 40 mins today. All I want is to reschedule an appointment. It just is simply unacceptable to wait that long. And I cannot imagine if my kids were sick how frustrated I would be. This office needs better staff who are also more friendly. The office staff I’m the front acts like the do not even like children and are irritated all the time, they work in a pediatric office!!!

    Seriously, I have asked several times for them to fix my billing via the patient portal becauae you cannot get through to the billing department. You get stuck in hold hell and then some lady (not a recording) who sounds like she was chewing on a stick gets on the line with a scripted message saying someone will call you back in 24-48 hours. And they never do. They are billing insurance as out of network. Not getting paid till this is fixed.

    Dr. Womack is the best pediatrician. I’ve been taking my children there since we moved to Wichita 4 years ago and she’s always friendly, knowledgeable and she cares for your children. I could give a 5 star review if it wasn’t for that it takes a little while to get appointments scheduled, she does have lots of patients, which I assume it’s because of the great Dr. she is! It takes a while to check in too, I just think they need more staff, but I think it’s still worth for me driving that far from my home so that my children can have the best medical care when needed. I do recommend this place!

    Great place honestly, but one huge thing always frustrates me. Instead of leaving patients on hold for 20+ minutes every time they call, there should be a "Call Back" option where you can leave your # and they will call you back when they get a chance. It makes so much more sense. Please consider doing this.

    Dr. Nichols has been the best to my two kids! He listens to any concerns that I may have and I never feel like he is ignoring them. Him and his staff are also so patient with young kids!

    As always I was quickly called for my appointment. The nurse was pleasant and efficient. Of course, Doctor Huskey was thorough, informative and genuine. I had lab work; the tech was amazing! No pain at all. I moved from the east side a number of years ago but return to Ascension on East 21st because the staff is professional, efficient and welcoming.

    I’ve doctored here for over 20 years. I’ve had the absolute best experiences with the PA’s in particular. I’ve been so grateful for that! However, my current doctor (not naming names) has given me grief on more than one occasion in the past. Currently, I’ve asked for treatment of a couple conditions I have with two prescription strength vitamins I have been prescribed in the past. I’ve been met with resistance for three years in this. What I don’t understand is that I can be prescribed a 1000 dollar medication to treat something outside if it’s originally intended purpose, but can’t be prescribed lower cost and less risk prescription strength vitamins for pain and fatigue. One vitamin which I am chronically below normal in for over 4 years. I am asking for vitamins, not painkillers. I am extremely dissatisfied and disheartened, but no longer surprised.

    We love our ped doctor Nichols and staffs here!! Dr is so calm and treat his mini patients very nice and respectful!! Services provided is excellent as well!! All staffs are so wonderful!!

    I love Dr. Nichols and his team. We showed up 15mins early for my daughter’s 9am appt, my son had a 9:15am appt. We were finished and in our car at 9:09am. Kids missed barely any class. Dr. Nichols never makes me feel crazy when I bring attention to something like some doctors I’ve encountered. He always makes sure I never leave with more questions! Absolutely adore him.

    Quiet clean comfortable facility. Spacious seating. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Have had nothing but best care from doctors and staff. Patient portal where labs and communications with Dr and staff so very handy so I don't spend my time waiting for staff to take msgs and be called back. I just send note and I get notification email when to login for response. Medical records summaries available to be shown to other healthcare providers or answer questions when your not sure when you had a event in past.

    I dearly love dr. Huskey and I feel she is competent as a doctor and takes interest in my welfare!! I also appreciate my P.A's Valerie Anderson and Amanda. I have nothing but compliments about Dr. Husky and team!!!
