When
I
told
friends
I
needed
recommendations
for
a
new
primary
doctor,
WWFP
was
the
top
place
people
said
over
and
over.
Two
friends
told
me
to
specifically
avoid
Dr.
Huser.
They
said
he
was
impersonal
and
rude.
When
I
called
to
make
an
appointment,
luck
of
the
draw
dictated
Dr.
Huser
was
the
soonest
available
appointment.
I
am
dealing
with
an
extremely
difficult
health
crisis,
so
didnāt
feel
like
I
had
time
to
wait.
Against
the
advice
of
those
friends
I
went
ahead,
and
soon
regretted
it.
Dr
Huser
hardly
ever
looked
at
me,
had
little
insight
on
any
of
my
symptoms,
and
dismissed
any
thoughts
I
had
or
involvement
I
attempted
to
have
in
my
own
treatment.
As
my
symptoms
continued
to
progress
it
took
3
times
of
asking
before
I
finally
got
a
referral
to
an
endocrinologist.
Iāve
now
been
diagnosed
with
EPI
and
insulin
resistance-
which
were
both
very
difficult
to
live
with
for
so
long
not
having
proper
treatment.
I
also
saw
Dr
Kovach
while
in
the
hospital,
and
my
experience
with
her
was
even
worse
than
that
with
Dr
Huser.
She
was
argumentative,
degrading,
and
extremely
rude.
Like
Dr
Huser,
she
had
no
practical
knowledge
of
my
ailment
and
caused
me
far
more
harm
than
I
came
in
with.
She
prescribed
me
a
heavy
duty
highly
addictive
anti
convulsant
drug
that
had
absolutely
nothing
to
do
with
my
symptoms.
She
dismissed
my
chest
pains
as
gastritis
and
said
there
was
absolutely
nothing
wrong
with
my
heart,
even
though
a
doctor
in
her
same
practice
had
diagnosed
me
with
Afib
a
month
earlier.
She
said
I
had
no
problems
with
my
pancreas,
and
said
I
was
mentally
unstable
and
needed
to
see
a
psychiatrist.
I
have
since
been
diagnosed
with
Pancreatic
Insufficiency
and
autoimmune
pancreatitis.
Her
assessment
of
my
mental
health
was
something
that
followed
with
me
from
then
on
from
one
doctor
to
the
next.
This
made
getting
treatment
and
an
eventual
diagnosis
extremely
challenging
because
every
specialist
that
saw
her
written
opinion
wrote
me
off
as
a
nutcase.
I
went
through
month
after
month
of
unnecessary
pain
and
stress
that
never
should
have
happened
and
it
was
all
because
of
her
lack
of
knowledge,
professionalism,
and
care
for
her
patient.
I
lost
an
entire
year
that
my
illness
could
have
been
treated
and
I
could
have
been
better
for
my
family.
Dr
Huser
and
Dr
Kovach
have
no
business
in
medicine
and
should
not
be
licensed
to
see
patients
anywhere.
I
did
see
Dr
Yang
more
than
once
in
the
minor
care
clinic.
He
was
what
every
doctor
should
thrive
and
aspire
to
be.
He
was
kind,
caring,
and
did
his
job
with
professionalism
and
efficiency.
If
half
the
doctors
at
WWFP
were
like
him,
Wichita
as
a
whole
would
be
a
much
better
place.
If
I
had
somehow
been
able
to
have
him
as
my
pcp
I
imagine
my
illness
would
never
have
progressed
the
way
it
did.
