The
dental
care
at
this
clinic
is
good,
in
my
limited
experience
of
cleanings
and
cavity
fillings.
But
the
administrative
and
communication
aspects
are
just
so,
so
bad.
I
had
a
cleaning
while
pregnant
and
was
told
I
needed
a
cavity
filled,
but
they’d
need
approval
from
my
OB
first.
They
NEVER
sent
the
request
to
my
OB,
and
after
three
tries
asking
them
to
I
gave
up.
The
next
time
I
called
and
asked
to
schedule
a
cleaning,
they
gave
me
a
date
and
did
not
inform
me
that
it
would
just
be
for
an
exam,
no
cleaning,
since
it
had
been
14
months
since
my
last
cleaning.
I
voiced
my
frustration
about
not
being
told
while
I
was
at
the
appointment,
and
they
apologized
in
one
breath
and
then
did
the
exact
same
thing
in
the
next.
At
the
end
of
the
exam,
they
said
I
needed
a
cleaning
and
two
fillings,
went
over
my
financial/insurance
information
and
how
much
I
would
have
to
pay
for
the
fillings,
and
gave
me
a
new
appt
date.
When
I
arrived
for
that
appointment,
I
was
told
it
was
only
a
cleaning
appointment
and
I’d
have
to
schedule
ANOTHER
appointment
for
the
filling!
(and
soonest
available
was
a
month
and
a
half
out)
I
asked
why
and
she
said
assistants
and
dentists
keep
separate
schedules
so
you
need
separate
appointments,
and
when
I
asked
why
they
don’t
just
schedule
both
for
the
same
day
then,
was
given
a
vague
“lots
of
people
need
lots
of
services”
non-answer.
Having
learned
my
lesson,
I
asked
her
to
clarify
that
this
next
appointment
would
be
for
both
fillings,
and
was
told
“it
depends
on
how
much
time
the
dentist
has
for
you
that
day,
it
may
be
both
or
it
may
be
just
one
and
you’ll
have
to
come
back
for
the
second.”
For
real?
Frustrating
policy
(and
maybe
poor
handling
of
a
lack
of
resources,
idk)
aside,
what’s
really
frustrating
is
the
failure
to
be
upfront
with
the
patient,
repeatedly.
