I fell and my doctor could not see me. I called AVC immediate care and was told that they could see me right away. Upon entering the clinic-I was warmly greeted and the receptionist recognized me as having called and had a spot reserved for me. I did not wait long before Nurse Joanne called me back. She was ultra professional and so kind and attentive throughout the entire treatment process. She went above and beyond in trying to make my experience exceptional. Christine, the PA, was awesome. She explained the process for each step of testing and treatment and again-was so attentive and kind. The care and attention was at such a superior level, especially compared to the ER options in Wichita. I appreciated the staff and their consistency in delivery of care.

I came there in hopes for answers. I was told by the Dr they did not have the equipment to test me and said I needed to go to the ER. I asked if it could wait until Monday? I am self pay and was trying to avoid the expense and didn't deem my situation an emergency, just troubling. She said "No". So I took her for her word and did what she recommended. I went to the ER. No tests were performed and I was sent home with a prescription and a set of papers that contained information I had already gained and began implementing myself. It cost me $305. They didn't even ask about my medical history and no test to rule out any other possibilities and no test to confirm the possible 'diagnosis' that I presented myself. (Except a finger in my mouth) So, I basically paid them for nothing!!! I was in and out so fast....(that was nice). Pretty sure they didn't "earn" that $305. The Dr at Immediate Care could have told me what they did and saved me the $. I appreciate her thoughtfulness and concern, however, maybe in the future when you refer someone to the ER....a call can be made to notify them of your concern and your recommendation and why so that your recommendations are carried out. Those $$$ maybe be needed elsewhere. Dr. M, maybe you'd like to chat with Dr. C at Ascension ER at St. Francis.

I was a walk-in and had a bit of a wait without an appointment, but everyone was really lovely to me, the front desk listened to my symptoms and didn’t make me wait to schedule for another day or to see a physician at my usual practice. I didn’t catch my nurse’s name but she was very comforting during my check-in process. She paid attention to what I was saying, she didn’t discredit me for my weight or any prior health history. I saw Cody, and he was fantastic. He listened to my symptoms, he listened to my concerns, fully went over prior lab work I had received (MUCH better than my PCP had done!) and was able to get to the root cause of the symptoms I was experiencing. I’m very thankful to everyone for their help.

Excellent service, the wait time was just a small time frame window. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Romeo Smith and nurse Johann. I’ve been to urgent care before and service was not that good, (it was hurried and not the bedside manners in listening to patient) so I’m glad this time the care providers were different. Overall It’s a great location to go and when there’s truly caring providers, it makes a world of difference; after all one doesn’t go to urgent care because they’re feeling well. Thank you Nurse Johann and Dr. Smith!

The receptionist was very pleasant when checking in. Both of the nurses I spoke with as well as the Nurse Practitioner I met with were all very nice, informative and took a genuine interest in my well-being. I scheduled my appointment on Monday evening, and was seen on Tuesday afternoon promptly at my scheduled time. Very pleased with my experience, and feeling much better thanks to the educated and professional staff.

Efficient, warm, friendly demeanor by all - from front desk to provider. I appreciate I was not over treated. Diagnosis was appropriate as no MRI available there. The pumpkin decorating contest added a warm humanizing element. That was nice. Doctors and nurses are overall caring and work hard to provide help and healing.

I have COVID (which I didn’t know until I got tested) but everyone treated me so so so kindly! I felt so welcomed and safe there. From the receptionist, to the nurse (who was definitely Beyond kind), to the NP! I always go to this urgent care and have always been treated so kindly but this time they definitely exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much for genuinely caring for your patients! ♥️

The wait was pretty long but we expected that. Nurses were great. The Dr we saw did not meet my expectations. I feel she picked the treatment that would be easiest and quickest for her, instead of what was the best for the patient (my child). I use the term “treatment” loosely since she didn’t do anything that we couldn’t have done ourselves at home.

Starting at check-in everything was great. The receptionist was very nice and thanked me for wearing a mask. The nurse who took my vitals was so very nice as she roomed me asked if there was anything she could get me. I felt like I had just gotten into the exam room and Greg (dr) came in. I was so happy it didn’t take half a day to see the dr for a minor issue. Thank you to all of the professionals at Via Christi Immediate Care for taking such good care of me. Would defiantly recommend to others.

Receptionist were nice, pleasant, and professional. However, I didn’t have the best experience with the clinical staff. The nurse/medical assistant nor the provider I saw didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. The provider was in & out so quick and even rushed me out. I waited an hour & a half for a 3 minute appointment. I definitely won’t go back.

The nurse and doctor were amazing, but the receptionist was a little rude. I don’t think it was her fault though, we all have bad days! But other than that a pretty good experience! Keep up the amazing work!

Staff were knowledgeable, patient, approachable and kind. Was seen In a timely manner even though they were swamped with patients. You really couldn't tell how busy they were, everyone was so calm, professional and with an awesome demonstration of empathy toward patients. The nurse who checked me in along with the NP who saw me was awesome !! My review starts with the ever so kind and hard working staff at the check in desk and moves straight on back to the initial check in by nurse, discussion and treatment plan by NP and the drawing of my labs.. 5 stars across the board!! Thank-you ladies and blessed holidays to you all. Please forgive me for failing to remember your names, but I do remember the great care and kindness you each shown me.

I had been dealing with bronchitis for over two weeks, zpack didn't clear it, and as teachers know it's more work to set up for subs than it is to just go in and tough it out... anyhow it came to a point I thought ok I really need to see a doctor again. My GP was booked solid, and I didn't want the hassle of hours in the ER... tried AVCICM and I was just so incredibly impressed! Granted it was a Monday evening, but still... walk-in arrival, exam, breathing treatment, chest x-ray, diagnosis (pneumonia!), and discharge was only 2 hours. Every one of the staff were so very professional, friendly, and seemed to genuinely care for their patients and take pride in their work. Nurse practitioner Christine was phenomenal as was the x-ray tech... really everyone was fantastic! I'm so grateful for their wonderful care and highly recommend their services.

Friendly and polite staff. They're very helpful in guiding you to the right area to be seen. The NP was very kind and was able to take care of my medical needs. The facility is clean and sanitizer is available in many areas. Mask are required. Over all happy with my experience. The ascension insurance from marketplace not to happy with it.

The doctor we seen was completely out of line telling me her opinion about my child watching a show on my phone and saying I need to limit screen time. She has no idea what we do at home. And my son is autistic so if I'm in public with my son I have to do what I have to do to avoid any unnecessary behaviors. It was completely unprofessional of her. I was there for my sick child. She also requested an x-ray and said it was not necessary to test for the flu. Covid and x-ray came back normal..then proceeds to tell me that it's probably the flu. I come to the doctor for answers. Not probably. She should have been more thorough and professional. My child is super sick. Now I have to miss more work to take him back to the doctor

Even though I wanted a sooner appointment, I was happy that I got the appointment - the same day! It worked out fine and the all the staff I encountered were friendly. I really am glad they were there because I definitely was not feeling good! I didn’t have to wait long because I had the appointment. Such a good feeling!

From the receptionists to the doctor everyone was kind, helpful, concerned and professional. The PA was very kind and very knowledgeable about my needs. I thought she was a full doctor at first and was very surprised at her level of knowledge with her concern and coverage for my care. I had blood poison started in my right little toe, from an ulcer. She explained my needs and care very throughly. Thank you for such a wonderful staff.

Was out of town visiting family and unfortunately got sick. Checked in at the immediate care desk (representative was courteous and professional), waited for about two minutes before being called back to get checked out. Both nurses I met were thorough with asking me about my symptoms and checking me out. Was diagnosed and medication was ordered for me to pick up at a local Walgreens. Process from start to finish was smooth. Highly recommend this facility and the immediate care team!

From start to finish, the visit was a smooth as possible. The entire staff was caring and polite. When the doctor was not sure about a symptom he let me know he was unsure and called a specialist, something I highly appreciated. Hopefully I'll never have to return, but if i ever do need immediate care again, I would return to this location and staff.

The front desk person, doctor, and radiologist were great. When the nurse was done drawing my blood she put pressure on my hand with gauze before removing the needle. She started talking to my girlfriend / wasn’t paying attention and drove the tip of the needle back up through my skin. — Response to Ascension’s response: This is an honest review of my experience. That’s all. I have a picture of my hand but I’m not going to post it. It was not my intention to cause the nurse any problems. Everyone makes mistakes, and it’s almost completely healed.

Provider didn’t have enough time to review PT medical history. Provider didn’t have enough time to provide effective care. Ultimately provider did prescribe the best treatment available but I had be firm and gruff in the way that I advocated for my child’s health. Provider almost didn’t bother prescribing my son’s prescription because provider didn’t think insurance would cover the prescription and provider didn’t think I’d be able to afford the prescription. That was almost a huge mistake! Luckily Ascension has excellent leadership. Thank you for working hard to find the best solutions every day!

I had a terrible migraine, one of my worst and they were very thoughtful . I was seen almost immediately and they kept the lights low so I knew right away they understood migraines. Im not sure how one fakes a migraine or would spend all that time and money in an ER just to get one injection but apparently there are because I’ve been treated quite unsympathetically at other facilities . As soon as I say I need to be seen for a migraine they have done everything but come right out and accuse me of “drug seeking “. I believe medical personnel should be more informed on migraines and the pain and misery they cause some people. The Dr here was wonderful, did the usual check for neurological issues and then asked me if I was nauseous as well. By the time I got home I was already feeling better ! Thank you….you’re wonderful

Professional and timely service. I really liked knowing the time my turn would arrive. I checked in fifteen minutes early and was called a few minutes later. I appreciate that the doctor and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come here again!

Was very impressed with the care and service That my daughter and I received while attending via Christie immediate care. The staff were all so sweet and kind. They made sure to make us feel comfortable and were so caring to my sick baby. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who work so hard (especially on Sundays) & those who took care of us. Your time, patience and care doesn’t go un-appreciated!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help.

Doctor/pa at urgent care was more concerned with mask policy than helping my child/me. Full blown panic attack from the mask right in front of her and she would leave the room if I pulled my mask down to try to breath. Beyond that when I asked for help to get through it she acted like it wasn’t happening at all. No compassion at all. I told them at the front desk and they asked me to wear face shield which I did and nobody but the doctor/pa forced me to wear the mask and suffer through a panic attack while trying to get help for my child. I get times are hard for health care workers but to traumatize someone over a mask is messed up. And to put my helpless child in a situation like that makes it even worse. Just trying to get my child care and I couldn’t even move due to the attack. I will do anything in my power to never come back here and to tell everyone I know to choose somewhere with professionals who have compassion.

Appreciated the nurse who seemed to listen to my concerns. The nurse practitioner seemed fixated on COVID and when later I was negative seemed more helpful to addressing my issue but I am still not feeling any better after taking medicine. Didn’t give a timeline if I didn’t feel well when to come back. Didn’t offer doctors note for work.

Got in about 10 minutes after my appointment time which wasn't bad but I was asked more than once where to send any prescriptions and they still sent it to the wrong place. Also the nurse practitioner was super nice but she didn't tell me what she thought was going on with my child nor talked to me much at all. Told me she was prescribing something and then told me to have a good day also the nurse who took us back and took vitals was very rude. She would ask me a question but then cut me off while I was trying to answer said questions. I'm not too impressed with their staff.

I took my six year old in for an x-ray to rule out fracture after a fall at school two days prior. She ended up not having any fractures. The PA was wonderful with her. Still wrapped her arm and talked with her about keeping her wrist safe from falls for a few more days. We made the appointment same day, we were in and out within and hour. The front desk staff and radiology staff were amazing as well! We have six kids and will never take them to any other urgent care if we can help it.
