Adopted the most beautiful puppy from the Humane Society and was told she’d need to see a vet within a month. Haven’t had a pet for awhile so didn’t know where to go. Asked Google Assistant for his advice and he sent me to Skaer Veterinary. Wow! I can see why, it’s obvious He knows the Web like the back of His hand. Every staff member was delightful and the place had the most amazing vibe. Signed up for the monthly plan because it just felt right, and who doesn’t look forward to more visits to such a happy place! Got a very affordable care plan for my new puppy, so don’t even have to worry about unexpected expenses as it’s a set monthly budget that I find surprisingly low. Could not be happier with this Veterinary Clinic, and am very grateful for Google Assistant’s amazing recommendation. Five Stars for sure!!! Very happy customer, and my pet is as well. 💙🐈

We absolutely love Skaer and Dr. Covington! All of the vet techs are so kind, and Travis at the front desk is always a pleasure to talk to about my questions. When we first moved to Wichita, it was in the second half of 2020, and things were, well, weird. I was anxious about curbside vet services, as we had adopted Kenzie less than a year before and I hadn't ever left her by herself at this point yet. They were kind and helpful, and Dr. Covington came out to the car to tell me all about how the appointment went. Two years later and we still completely love going, and Kenzie gets so excited to see everyone! We've since signed up for the wellness plan and absolutely love using that to help spread out the cost of service on our lazy, 100 pound, polar bear-mix.

We had to take “ we consider our family member ( Lacy) to be put to sleep.. I walked in on a Thursday afternoon never coming here before.. The Ladies at the front desk were so welcoming and kind.. Dr. Christen Skaer was so very nice… treated Lacy as her own family member.. . Lacy was most comfortable in the van so they did everything there… it was so very difficult but my brother and I realized how perfect the Lord had made this and who he had take care of our Lacy was the best. They all had such compassion, kindness and Love for our Lacy. She gave us everything during her life full of Love.. My family will never forget the kindness and compassion for our family member that was shown.. You are are so wonderful and my family was so blessed ! You all are the best! Dave, Bernie and family..

I cannot say enough about the amazing team at Skaer Veterinary Clinic. They were incredibly supportive when I had to put down my elderly cat and they recently saved the life of my other cat who needed emergency stomach surgery. Above doing exceptional work, the entire staff is so incredibly gentle, friendly, and understanding in how they communicate the situation and how they treated my cats. I highly recommend them!

First time there 9-13-23….loved the staff and the Dr. Very friendly, took their time, interacted with my new puppy, answered the questions I had and provided a wealth of information.

Great! I just kind of picked this place randomly as a vet for my dog. I’m very impressed and absolutely satisfied.

A stray cat has adopted us. We took her to Skaer Vet Clinic where they checked for a chip; no joy. All the staff we met were very kind. It is bright clean place. They kind of redefined pet friendly for me.

I just called Skaer because I saw that it was close and my dog had some symptoms that concerned me. I wish I could remember the woman who answered the phone because she was the sweetest. She helped me and I’m not even a client (YET) she gave me numbers and addresses when she didn’t have to. Our vet from out of town is closing and I 100% know I’m taking my pack here for all our future needs. If over the phone service is that good I look forward to seeing in person care.

I can’t say enough about Skaer. From the front desk to the vet techs to the veterinarians, they all show they care from start to finish. My sweet cat Luna was very sick, and it was a really hard time. I was not okay. They called to check in weekly for almost a month to see how we were doing. When it came to be Luna’s time, I got a voicemail from Chris Skaer to personally send her condolences. My cat was my best friend for almost 17 years, and she got really great care during the hardest months, in large part because of the staff at skaer.

Works with their clients if they need a digital copy of vet records and definitely treat your pets like family! I'm very thankful for them for working with me to provide the proof of ownership of my sweet boy!

I called seeking some sort of vet emergency care due to a suggestion from another vet. They don't provide emergency care, but they were still very friendly and voice concerns for my situation.

Went to put $ FOR a Christmas gift to my son for his cat. They were very friendly and helpful. It looked like a large clinic. My son says it's a very good clinic.

I simply cannot say enough about Dr. Christan and her staff! We are new to the clinic and were so impressed by the amount of care and compassion shown by all! What an amazing experience! Furever vet FOUND! Well done 👏!!!!

We are thankful for such an awesome clinic so close to us, and Dr. Covington always takes such good care of my cats. She is thorough and makes sure my cats get the best care and treatment. We brought our cat, Ambrose in yesterday and Jenelle was so kind and gentle with him and I’m so thankful that they take the time to make him as comfortable as possible. I feel like my questions are answered and I’m confident in treatment plans and medications. We will continue to come see Dr.Covington and the Skaer Clinic.

Loved this Vet! They have a cat only room, where no dogs are allowed near. In the room, they have toys to keep kitty entertained, and the reduced stress air scent plugged into the wall. They did her exam, nail trim and ear cleaning all in the room with me. The cost was very reasonable, and all the staff were exceptionally nice, and professional. The little goodie bag at the end was cute! We were quite happy here!

This vet clinic and staff are as awesome as the website makes them look. Probably more so.

My former vet retired so I decided to come here, as I wasn't happy with Indian Hills. I have brought all of my pets here, and I can say I am more than satisfied with the care they have received. They are more than willing to take extended amounts of time to go over care options and discuss your pet with you. They are happy to explain things to you, even if it's a silly question. I also have to say that as a cat owner, it always felt like vets in Wichita didn't like cats. At Skaer it's a completely different story, they have methods to try to help cats feel safer at the vet. The vets, nurses, and other staff all seem to genuinely love animals and think of their own pets when offering care and advice. While the prices are high compared to my old vet, I can't say that it's not worth it for the quality. I know that my fur babies are in good hands.

The staff is wonderful they really care about what you and your animal are going through. They provide the best care possible for a decent price.

Helpful and friendly staff. Will be taking all our furry friends here. Dr. Skaer is great too, reminds me of how my grandpa practiced veterinary medicine.

Have used them for years with my dogs. A bit pricier, on some services, than other vets but the Dr's are GREAT! Very accommodating and friendly staff as well. Highly recommend!
