The nurse was great. She was very attentive, and it seemed like she cared. The doctor, I believe his name is David, he seemed like he didn’t want to be in there. He didn’t ask much, say much, it felt weird. But it could have been a long day, so I don’t blame him too much. I just expect to feel like the doctor cares when I actually make the effort to want to pay extra by going to an ER.

Upon arrival at the ER the lady at the front desk was very helpful and understanding. The nurses and Doctor that treated my two year old son was very knowledgeable, friendly, approachable and kind. Thank you medical health team for making our first visit a lasting experience.

A great facility with amazing medical staff! All of the staff were caring and listened carefully to our issues. Lindsey, our nurse, in particular was over-the-top great! Hopefully, I won't need to go to an ER ever again; but if I do, I would not hesitate to go to St. Teresa!

The entire staff was kind and compassionate from the second we walked into the ER. We didn't have to wait at all. My daughter was well cared for, given stitches in the palm of her hand, and we were out in less than 30 minutes. Everyone was very professional and considerate!!

ER Professionals: From checking in to checking out I was made to feel important & well-attended. I thought I'd broken my hip, was scared, & in a great deal of pain. The scan showed no broken bones, I was given a workable treatment plan. I'm 71, & this was my first ER visit ever. The doctor was wonderful! I now have great confidence in this particular facility & staff.

I went to the ER with knee pain last night. The ER was extremely busy and while my wait was considerable, I found it reasonable under the circumstances. I have no problem with the care I received. in fact I was treated professionally and well cared for. My issue was with how I saw another patient treated. There was an African American woman that came in about 30 minutes after I did with severe back pain. She was literally crying out in pain. The ER Administration staff had this woman lie on the floor in the lobby while she waited for treatment. I understand that there were no beds in the ER proper to put her in, but they could have damn sure placed her on a rollaway bed and let her rest in the hallway until she could be seen. I felt horrible about how this lady was treated and couldn’t imagine how I would have reacted if she were a member of my family. I feel guilty that I myself didn’t do more to speak on her behalf. This was not a good look for Via Christi Hospital. You can do much, much, better.

Had a great time! Got 14 stitches in my thigh from an angle grinder and I was in and out in under 2 hours! The staff took great care of me, and Morgan was very warm and professional! Made the whole procedure a breeze and was very attentative. For an ER visit, I had a bit of fun and conversation with several of the staff! If they would just install a barista, I would definitely recommend a Michelin star 😀

The staff was amazing. I’ve never been treated with such respect and empathy by ER staff. Bill and the staff helping him made me feel like I was the only patient they had that day. Thank you for easing my anxiety and talking me through all the processes.

I was seen before I could even fill out the paperwork. The admissions person was extremely helpful and patient with me. The doctor, gave me pages of information on poison ivy to help avoid this happening again. I very much appreciated it. She also suggested a specific soap to wash in the with in cool water.

The ER got me in immediately. The staff was very friendly. The nurse, EKG technician, x-ray crew were all great. Really liked the PA who discussed my situation with me and advised me! The on line admission was easy which in turn made the discharge very smooth.

I had a good experience at the E. R. at St. Teresa. From check in, to x-ray, to the doc who saw me, everyone was friendly, kind, & professional. I was in and out in under 2 hours. Discharge orders were clear and detailed. I also liked using text messaging as opposed to filling out papers.

I was at St Teresa on 9/27/22 and the Dr and nurse both were amazing. Listened to the problem, took quick action and treated me with respect and dignity while treating the problem. They seemed genuinely concerned that I was in so much pain and made me feel that I mattered. I am very grateful for the care I received. I believe I saw Dr Mattox and I was petty out of it and cannot remember the nurse’s name and I feel terrible about that. She was very kind and considerate and was amazing also. Thank you for this care I received. -Aura Flippin

This location was the closest to our home during the time of the emergency we had with our 3 year old experiencing abdominal pain right at midnight. We rushed her to the ER to see what the issue was. Thankfully this location was not busy during the time we brought her in. A couple of the staff were not the friendliest. Front desk in particular. I was not very appreciative of Dr. Castro’s work and suggestions. He agreed to disagree on several comments we mentioned to him about our child’s issue. The over-exaggeration about my child’s abdominal pain could be an appendix issue was overboard and how she may have to be transferred to Wesley to be seen by a pediatrics doctor/surgeon was completely unnecessary, because the next day when she was seen by her pediatrician, he made it easier for me by prescribing her with stool softener since she was having constipation. Simple as that. Vee, Riley, and Abby were super helpful, attentive, friendly and did a great job during the time they were assisting in my child’s room.

I was so well cared for. I went to the ER with much trouble breathing. The people there took immediate care of me. I was feeling much better when I was discharged just a few hours later. I’m so grateful. Thanks for being amazing!
