The older lady at the front desk is HORIBBLY rude, for people coming in there vulnerable and in the middle of a mental health crisis that finally get the courage to seek help and try to get treated, how she treated me was awful. No one should be talked down to like she did especially someone in such a fragile state. I suggest you get someone else working your front desk that actually cares about helping people!

Listed as a community resource and one that I know people to refer others to quite often. I worked in a subset division of mental health services for nearly a decade and ComCare has been around for a pretty long time. Unfortunately, they are just another cog in a bigger machine and no one cares to challenge the status quo. Often touted to be a helpful and necessary community resource for the marginalized people of the community, the lower & no income people, they are turning impoverished Black and Brown people away who are in need of their mental health services but haven't lost employment due to Covid. As if we were not already impoverished and suffering pre-Covid, even moreso now, they've found yet another way to refuse us help. This is not a misunderstanding in any capacity. There are several of us who have been turned away. However, I also know a few people they did not hesitate to offer services to because they have some sort of income, whether from working or otherwise. As long as they can pay them, they are willing to help. Typical. Expected. Systemic. But also, such a sad state of affairs.

This is a crisis center and it's the worst excuse for crisis intervention that I have ever seen. I see a lot of employees walking by but nobody stopping to help those that came here for help. There are only myself and my son here and nobody has come to see us. I wouldn't even give this place 1star rating except that's the only way I could leave a review. Simply despicable. Obviously only here to punch a clock because the sure aren't seeing anyone to earn their pay. This place needs to be shut down!!!!!

I read the reviews. It seems as though all of the higher ratings do not comment. I would give no star rating if it let me. My teen son has mental health and we have visited crisis many times in the past. Today, I took him in to get help with his new issue...impulse control. His med provider is out this week so I couldn't get a change in meds. He just returned from PRTF and an acute stay at KVC. I dont feel safe with him in the home. Acute care at St Joe's would have been a prayer answered. He could get med changes and I could feel safe for a few days. Well, crisis says that he said to them "I want to die" but they decided to make a safety plan and send us home since he didn't have a plan to kill himself..wth right!! He actually told them that and "I want to kill myself"...he has suicidal tendencies. He doesn't follow the safety plans we put in place at home. The safety plan was for him to go to therapy and then home. Crisis is not there for people with mental health and their families. It's like this...person: I wanna kill myself. Them: Ok, go home drink some hot tea and do breathing exercises along with yoga. Be safe my friend. And good luck. Come back if you need to. Person: I'm going to kill myself so I wont be able to come back Them: ok then. Bye bye. (As they scoot ya out of the building). Seriously no help what so ever. Don't go there thinking you will recieve the help you need. They don't care. And they do talk about other clients to each other in front of clients. They make fun of them and put them down.

I completely agree with the reviews here. I was having a mental breakdown and went to these people for help last week. My son died four years ago. He was 28 years old with a daughter that his family has not seen since death. I went here and there is a police officer or security in the front. I’m asking them if I should get a medication adjustment because I am shaky, sad etc heart palpitations. I talked with and cried to a gentleman there for about an hour. He told me that if I wanted to be β€œ seen” for medication then I would need to spend the night on the floor with everyone else?? OMG when a scared female or male comes in why would they group people together? With the pandemic ETC!! No. Don’t go to this dirty, old, unkept Facility. They do not care!!

Had the most negative experience of my life talking to comcare crisis. They made me feel worse. And when I called a different hotline to get better support a lady answered the phone that was sitting next to the lady that conducted the comcare crisis call. They both attacked me and made me feel invalidated and intimated and made my situation worse. I was crying and shaken after the phone call with 988 and comcare. Not professional. Absolutely horrible experience. NEVER calling comcare ever again even if im on the verge of ending my life. Such a horrible place.

I think crisis is bad definitely the people who answer the phones they are so disrespectful and there only two good people who answer the phones who actually cares about you and wants to help you. I would suggest going into crisis instead of calling so they can help you better all the therapist cares so much about you. So I hope you take my recommendations

For a state ran promgam I was really surprised by how much they went out of there way to help me. I would definitely recommend them if you are in serious need of help. There was a women there by the name of keisha that really when out of her way to make sure I got the help that I needed. Thank you to the whole staff and a special thank you to keisha

Can't do a walk in unless you are an established patient. The other departments should know this but don't seem to. Comcare as a whole please get your stuff together!

Went here back in February, it was a major disappointment. A lot of these people just don’t feel like their able to help most people.

Totally amazing, the degree of incompetence of the workers has to be on a whole new level! No insurance, good luck getting seen. Even though I was in total crisis, the person on phone tried their best to deter from coming in. Hey it worked, sorry that I interrupted your day. Now I know not to call com-care . Exactly why is com-care around?

If I could give a zero I would. We tried taking my grandson there because he was hurting and fighting family members. They would not take him and give us a break or keep him to help him. He is only 9 years old. He has been severely abused mentally, emotionally and physically all his life and is messed up. no one will help get him the help he needs. You all are a joke.

I was leaving the parking garage on the way to turn right onto main Street and suddenly a girl or guy who was driving a van from this place kept honking at me to go when I very clearly couldn't due to two cars driving by and fire trucks driving by as well before the two cars and then honked at me for slowing down when there was a red light at main st and again on 3rd Street when I slowed down again cause of a red light

These folks have been so nice to me. Made me feel very welcome! I'm leaving now way before the 23 hours. I was told if I needed help or anything to call them & I can come back. I'm grateful to have these folks as a resource in a crisis situation! Thank you to Pam!! This chic is so cool. Stephanie gave me advise that I desperately needed about teenagers & my situation with my daughter. Grateful!

From the moment we arrived it was an incredible experience. They came in with snacks and activities for our toddler. Constantly checked to see if we needed anything, they listened and truly seemed to care. In the end they assisted us in getting him into inpatient, and even cheered with us when he got accepted. The entire staff turned the horrible situation into a calm experience to learn and grow from. I am so thankful for every one of them!
