I absolutely love this huge fan directly over the treadmills. I run hot and it's the only place that has sufficient air movement for me to work out comfortably. The hydro-massage beds are awesome. And it's 24 hours!

The gym is too hot! Especially in the smith machine area. We could not work out comfortably! I do not think the AC is wokring at all! These blowers instead of AC!!! LOL!

The gym is clean, staffs are very nice and courteous. But recently they're having AC problem that part of the gym has no AC at all. A lot of us have noticed the staffs of the issue but were told they could not do anything about it. This is becoming a more serious problem as summer is getting hotter and people are having trouble breathing and feeling dizzy while working out. This is not safe! Please get this fixed!

As a long time member I am really disappointed that they will not fix the AC. They did a huge remodel in the fall, but none of that matters when the AC doesn't work in the summer. And increasing the fan speed is like using a bandaid! I have talked to the manager every week for months and feel like her hands are tied.

Went in to get my membership and the guy behind the counter did not know how to set up membership because management. If I return to set up a membership will not be at this location and if I do set up membership I will not come back to this location. Ok 2 times in a row coming to this establishment and nobody knows what they're doing with membership and the gentleman working was not even behind the counter but sitting over at a table snacking or eating. He did not know I was there until I walked up and asked a question and then said that they leave him there by himself.

Amazing gym! It's super clean and up to date with the best equipment. The staff are crazy friendly and knowledgeable. You can't get better than this for the price!

I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! My husband joined them in May, the facility was poorly maintained and very warm, like no AC. Totally unacceptable and such a health hazard for working out condition, especially for pregnant women (such as myself). It made it not enjoyable to work out and extremely uncomfortable. They also charged you a yearly fee of an additional fee of $50 in July, we just couldn't stand it and only went there couple of times before canceling this month. They charge you all kind of fees, $27/month membership, $50+ maintenance fee in July and another $63 to cancel. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! They are a rip off. If you read review calling people sissy for complaining about the temp, don't trust those paid phoney people. My sister from south Florida was in town and check out that planet fitness, she said it was too hot for her too. They should refund the maintenance fees and not charge cancelation fee when their facility did not meet expectations.

I had to cut my workout short because it's too hot in here. I see several other complaints recently about the AC. Maybe it's time to turn down the AC? Edit: I spoke to the assistant manager who shrugged me off and told me the AC is running.

They either don't use their AC or it doesn't work. Very hot. Hand sanitizers have been empty for well over a month. Sink in handicap stall out of order for a month. Toilet seat also broken over a month. Never see them cleaning, rebalancing plates on bench/squat racks. People never rerack plates.

Nice size, clean. Has hydromassage bed and lounge chair as well as zero gravity massage chairs. This gym looks better than my home gym.

4am I can’t enjoy working out here the ac is never on. You walk in and it feels instantly stuffy and like a sauna. So disappointing too because it’s such a big space.

Made a mistake and got DNR at every Kansas location from the 13th and amidon location due to a front desk girl who didn't like me going in to do my thing and she had a attitude about the way I am. That's her problem, how is it mine when she made it that way when I persisted to ignore her and mind my business? She pulled it out, and I'd like to sue this company if possible. Reach out to me via email any attorney who understands me.

Okay Ya, I called today to get information concerning gym membership. I spoke to Oases, and he was superb. He explained EVERYTHING to me, and went above and beyond concerning customer service. He explained all my options, and I was at ease. I really feel motivated to come into the gym, and take full advantages of all the services he explained. Thanks again Oasis.

For the price, you can't beat this place for workouts. Friendly staff here too. Just remember your flip flops for the shower.

This is an affordable, moderate sized, fully equipped, clean, and functional gym that makes it easy to get in, workout, and get out. Admittedly, there are no racks and bars, but there are plenty of benches, dumbbells (3-75lbs), cable machines, machines, cardio equipment, and functional training space, so short of deadlifting and a few power lifting exercises, most people can get a full workout here. I love this particular location, Central and Woodlawn. The entire staff (I've come at multiple times) are friendly and helpful, and the people who workout here are polite and friendly. There is also a nice variety of people who use this gym, so even though I'm socially awkward, I never feel out of place.

The machines are all new and really nice. But that's where it all ends. Over half of the TV don't work. There's some sort of pink mold growing in the drinking fountain. Very few cleaning stations. I could be wrong but the liquid in the bottles looks like water. It even sprays out without a cleaning smell or texture.

This is a huge venue. Typical clean machines to use, friendly staff. I am never disappointed with planet fitness. I have been blessed to visit so many in my travels. I have never met anyone who had any complaints otherthan the miss the grape tootsie rolls. LOL. Two THUMBS 👍.

I do the treadmill with my Lord Jesus with Praise music in my ears while hubby hits the weights with R&B or rap. We both have a great workout.

Awesome new equipment. Possibly the most ergonomic equipment I've ever used (I've been going to gyms since 1985). Friendly staff. Love the Hydromassage beds - excellent way to end a workout. Never feels crowded, but I workout during the daytime, so I don't know what it's like after 5PM.
