I applied here as a licensed massage therapist. I was rejected on the pretence that they wanted someone who already had a standing built. Makes sense, but I feel the owners were not considerate. I have worked in Wichita for over 7 years. I have built a report among many of the businesses, not just massage, and many have seen me grow since graduating highschool. I worked for Massage Envy, a collective of about 2 years, and accrued hundreds of return clientele. My package sign on rate was very impressive. Recently, Massage Envy discriminated against me and neglected not only myself and others but the entire work environment. When I brought it up they held resentment and waited for a good moment to fire me spontaneously. That said, there are many clients out there looking for me because I offered a skill set many common therapists overlook. It gives me an outstanding leg above when dealing with chronic clinical conditions as the other professionals here work together to treat. I had looked forward to working with Optimal Performance specifically for this reason. My background comes from Body and Soul School of Massage Therapy(a very well renowned school for their quality, and students ability to stand alone.). My techniques are yogic at their core, caring for people is my passion, and I just so happen to be really good at communication and working with others. It's a shame The Owners are letting fear of risk, affect their decision. We didn't do a preliminary interview or go over my business plan. We could have worked well together. We love bringing our boys to Optimal! Dylan is an excellent trainer. He understands our goals and how to achieve them. The staff are all very friendly and are flexible with scheduling needs. We would definitely recommend Optimal Performance, especially to young athletes.
