We have tried to make Goldfish work not once but twice, and ended up withdrawing within 4-6 months both times. The first time the revolving door of teachers made us quit because our son wasn't making any progress having a different teacher nearly every week, and they did a price hike at the same time. Goldfish contacted us and wanted us to try again 6 months later so we did. It was fine until they informed us 2 weeks beforehand that they were getting rid of the morning classes and we would have to switch to afternoon. There were no spots left in any of the time slots we could make. They enrolled him in a class one level above and said it would be fine for him to be there until there was an opening in another class. Apparently the teacher wasn't thrilled about it though, because she didn't even give him a turn to do half the things the other 3 students got to do, he just sat on the side until she moved on to the next thing. I withdrew him immediately, but per their withdrawal policy we still get to pay for another month he won't be attending. I timed my son's actual in-water time at various lessons. 3-4 minutes of actual swimming in a full class (which they basically all are). You are paying $100 a month for your kid to spend 15 minutes in the water. With all the other issues it simply isn't worth it.

We love coming to Goldfish swim school. My daughter has been enjoying the classes and has been learning quite well. The instructors are very encouraging. The immediate feedback of the child's progress from the instructors are much appreciated. The front desk staff are friendly and help with makeup classes if we're unable to make it on the scheduled day. They also have swim merchandise at a reasonable cost which is quite convenient. We highly recommend this place.

We have been amazed at how quickly our kids have grown in their ability to swim! They love the teachers and the ribbons they get when they master a technique.

Such a great swim school, but the hours are not in someone’s favor. If a child has a different schedule (let’s say week on/week off) with a coparenting situation, they don’t offer any swim classes that might be flexible. They do, however, offer drop in classes. The process to book the drop in classes are very archaic however. You have to call the school and book over the phone (and hope staff is available). There is no online option (as of the date of me writing this) that offers online booking drop in options. If they could improve the drop in classes, I think I’d give it 4 stars for sure! The staff is great and the facility is clean. I have no complaints there. Just wished there was more flexibility in how families booked. Id still recommend them for anyone who wants assistance in teaching their child water safety and swim skills!

The school itself is nice and the swim instructors are good, but the withdrawal process is terrible. It requires a 30 day cancellation—that’s a long notice, but sure. I called and left a voicemail to cancel and asked for a call back, and never got one. Two weeks later I’m emailing to confirm the drop date, and they say I need a withdrawal form to complete, but I provide written, emailed notice that I’m canceling my kid’s lessons. This is where it’s my fault, but between the lack of phone call and the confusing policies of cancellation, I thought it was completed. Today I get a call and am asked why my kids aren’t showing up—it’s been over a month. I explained that I thought we canceled back in July, but apparently they didn’t cancel us. I spoke with the manager, Anna, who said that they had to charge me but I could get makeup tokens for future visits (….I’m canceling, that’s not helpful) and this was their policy. I’m now out $400 dollars, so I asked if I could speak to corporate to try to meet halfway on this and take some responsibility but plead my case, but I’m told there’s no one else to talk to. I then asked to be re-emailed the withdrawal form, but Anna says she took care of it for me. ???? Then why am I being charged for when I gave emailed, written notice that we wanted to cancel? It just feels like a cheap way to keep money. My advice is to choose a place that doesn’t have this frustrating cancellation policy. Will not be returning due to a frustrating system.

My grandson attended a birthday party at this location and had a great time. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the lifeguards were attentive and aware at all times while the children were in the pool. The pool is indoors and heated. There are showers to wash off prior to and after entering and exiting the pool, plus there is a restroom in the enclosed pool area, so the kids don’t have to travel far. According to the swim school’s brochure, they offer different levels of swim classes from 4 months to 12 years for a cost of $89 to $109 per month, with a $25 annual membership fee for the first child and $20 fee for the second child, with a maximum of $45 for the family. This is a swim school, so fortunately, there is a viewing area where parents can watch their little ones in the comfort of air-conditioning, without being in the humidity of the pool area. They also offer Family Swim, though you may need to call to find when that activity is available. Other amenities offered include family-friendly changing rooms, private bathrooms, a hair-drying station, a swimsuit dryer, a Treasure Island Pro Shop, and a snack shack. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place and will probably go back.

Goldfish Swim School has been a wonderful experience! The teachers are excellent instructors and the administration is very well run. Additionally, the facility is always clean (and always being cleaned!), safe, and comfortable. I can't recommend it enough! My kiddo has been going for 2 years and we love it!

My Son Started Swimming lessons last August and he absolutely loves it! Ms.Yasmine has been his teacher from the beginning. She's the best and very patient with my son. Annabel at the front desk helped me enroll my son in the school is the best at what she does. I withdrew in the fall/winter because of the weather. She called us in the spring and asked if we wanted to join again. Which we did. But overalls the staff and the school is the most affordable and clean swim school. you're going to get! One more thing kids get ribbons. If you achieve your goal . And it literally helped boost my son confidence! Thank you Goldfish🤗

My daughter has seen nothing but compassion from all the staff. She has a few struggles that we are working through with doctors and the instructors have been more than understanding and willing to work with her. We couldn’t be more grateful!

This place is great for year-round weekly swim lessons. I like that my youngest doesn't forget some of the skils he has over the summer and improves year over year. I do wish the lessons were a little longer by about 15 minutes. The 30 minute lesson doesn't always allow for my 3-year-old to understand then really practice a technique becuase even with the 4 student max, that's not even 10 minutes per child. The instructors have been very sweet though. The faculty is great for a swim school. They have a row of showers in the pool area to rinse off before and after as well as 4 separate bathrooms with an accessible shower. There are also tons of private changing rooms to change quickly. The parents area has plenty of seating and a wall of windows to watch. The kids without actually being in the po area where it could be distracting. Even though each instructor has a 4 student max there are classess on both sides of the pool that are all happening simultaneously so it can be a little loud. They have many different skill level groups so no one feels bad about their abilities. They offer classes in the weekends all day and every week night as well. I also liked the 1 week daily class we took in the beginning

We love Goldfish! Our son went from crying while taking a bath to flourishing in his swim class. Peter is our current instructor, and he is awesome! Our son (2.5) gets so excited to go to his swim lessons every week.

We enjoyed the classes. The reason for the 2 star review is the requirement of a 30 day cancellation notice in person. They make it easy to sign up, but not easy to stop. This policy was not communicated upon signing up.

The classes are flexible, they offer 12 make-up classes during a year if you cannot go for your scheduled time. The students will be moved up to the next level whenever they’re ready. The staffs are friendly. I will recommend this place to my friends and family.

My Daughter has advanced so quickly for only having 1 swimming lesson a week. All the instructors are great. They are very patient and make her lessons fun!
