Very pleased with the excellent care I received from Dr. Mansoor and Vannie. Although they were extremely busy, and their waiting room was full of patients, the entire staff from the front desk to the doctor provided me with outstanding care. The nurse used this fancy new machine to find my vein before she started the IV on me. I will definitely always go back!

I brought my kids in thinking they had ear infections. We had a little bit of a wait but it was worth it! The staff were all very caring and made my kids and I feel very comfortable. Kim took great care of us and we will definitely be back if needed!

I highly recommend coming here for your non emergency, urgent care needs. The staff is incredible. They are friendly, prompt, and skilled. If I ever need non emergency care in the future, I will definitely choose AFC Urgent Care first.

I was nervous to come in because of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. Check in took 1 minutes because I had submitted pictures of my card online. I was brought back at my appointment time and only waited 15 minutes to be seen once in the room. The provider I saw was very efficient and listened to what I had to say. She also called in the antibiotic I needed right away. Great experience.

My experience here at the AFC has always been positive. From the moment I made an appointment online to the moment I went in person. I took my daughter and they took care of her and it was nice to see that they responded fast and helped her out. The staff is very professional and very caring. They value your time, so that means they don't have you waiting a long time.Thank you for all your help! It's very appreciated!

Today I was extremely disappointed in the care my family and I received from AFC Urgent Care. It was completely packed and they were super busy, which is understandable. We waited patiently, as we always do. My 2 girls and I had to use the restroom, but come to find out there was no toilet paper. I went to the front desk where there were 4 ladies up front, one was on the phone AND assisting patients at check out. The other 3 were standing and talking to each other. As I continued to wait patiently, all 3 of the ladies went to a Doorway to continue to finish their conversation, instead of having at least one of them assist me. So, I continued to wait. When I realized I wasn't going to get any help, I had to leave the facility to take my girls to Walmart to use the restroom. Before leaving, I was completely frustrated and had to inform my husband, whom was waiting with our son, that I had to take the girls elsewhereto use the restroom. A patient heard me and, with surprise, informed me she had already told staff there was no toilet paper in the restroom. Such a shame! Once we were called back, we all were tested for the flu. Dr. Mansoor came in and stated, "You ALL tested positive for the flu. I'm immunocompromised, so you all need to put your masks on!" How completely rude! Not only that, but we already had our masks on, except my 2 year old son! We are the patients, and for you to come in and make it seem like we chose your career choice and we need to only protect you is completely selfish! We came in to get help in feeling better. Not for a doctor to come in and make it seem like her health was more important than ours. That's disgusting! You're a doctor, so act like one! Not only did she say that, but asked if I had questions and when I did, she interrupted me and walked out when I still had a question. I had concerns about my daughters eye, and not once did she take a look at it. She brushed it off and said it was because she has the flu. Once we were rushed out, after patiently waiting for our turn, we had to find a pharmacy for the medication we needed. Once we got lucky with one, we were informed by the pharmacy that Dr. Mansoor mixed the dosage up with our 2 year old and 5 year old and they could not fill their meds. My 2 little ones have it the worst with their symptoms and I feel extremely frustrated and sad that I can't help them out. All because we were rushed and AFC did not take their time with my family and I. I have been here before, multiple times, and yet, I've never been so angry and disappointed, until today!

I took my 3 year old daughter here for what looked like pink eye, she had gooey eyes, one was shut from the goo and they did not even touch her.. they checked her temperature and that was it. The doctor walked in when my daughter was sitting on the bed, doctor stood at the door and immediately said it was covid.. no test, did not check her ears, throat, or her lungs. She did absolutely nothing.. I am so irritated with this place as they did not seem to care at all. I will not be back and I definitely will not be bringing any family here and will not recommend anyone to this location.

I had a wonderful experience at AFC! Both Elizabeth Bui (PA) and the nurse provided efficient and attentive care. They showed genuine concern for my condition and took time to listen to my concerns and symptoms. Elizabeth explained every care recommendation thoroughly and I felt confident with my treatment plan.

First of all I would like to start by saying that this is the ONLY place that I take my kids or myself to when we are sick! They are fast and thorough! And have my insurance information on file! That is why I am so upset! I took my 6 year old tonight and although the lady at the desk had printed off a copy of my sons insurance (same insurance since that he has had since birth,in hand) and Still said he couldn’t be seen! I am livid! I’m sorry I couldn’t help that my card information wouldn’t go into the online checkin registration but it is also the same insurance that she got from her computer and printed off! Tell me how this makes any sense? Not sure if I will ever be back!

The wait time was fine and the receptionist and triage personnel were great. The doctor however was not. I spent no more than 2-3 minutes with the doctor, in which it felt like she had diagnosed me within the first 30 seconds of our interaction. She did not allow me much opportunity to speak on my own behalf. If so, then I would have been able to tell her that everything she was recommending that I do I was already doing daily as a large portion of my job. She left the room telling me that she was sending medication to my preferred pharmacy twice but failed to tell me what medication I should be expecting to pick up.

These folks really know their stuff. I was in and out in no time, got the cut on my hand stitched up, and was out the door in time for dinner. Seriously, best urgent care staff I've ever seen. If I got a job juggling razor blades, I would rest easy knowing the doctors and nurses at American Family Care had my back.

Very friendly and helpful staff at all levels. With Omicron on the rise and other illnesses, they were very busy. Be ready to wait if there are a lot of people there. That's to be expected with so many people showing up. Be nice to the staff! They certainly are nice. They do everything they can to be efficient. They have a lot of room with two comfortable waiting areas. I needed some specialized issues to be taken care of which took somewhat longer than the typical patient. The doctor was willing to accommodate me and was very patient with me even though she was swamped with work. She was very helpful and friendly. I was very satisfied with my visit. Thank you AFC Urgent Care on Rock Rd!

I had an exceptional experience at AFC Urgent Care on Rock Rd today! Within 30 minutes, I was seen, diagnosed, and treated. The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, the doctor even shared some of her personal Halls vitamin C lozenges. It was a 10/10 experience, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received.

On 09/13/2023 was my first time at this facility. It was very clean and comfortable atmosphere. They work quickly to keep the flow going with waiting patients to get everyone processed quickly and seen in a short timely manner. I did notice all the staff members worked very well together to keep a good flow going. This I dont see much at busy urgent care facilities with the staff members, most of the other urgent care facilities I visited in the past can't seem to keep up a good flow when there are several patients coming in back to back next thing you know your there another 2 hours before being seen even. The staff members who was involved in my care process were kind with smiles and good attitudes the whole time. I was back there after intake going to a room, getting x-rays, and all done within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the urgent and kind service as well. From when I arrived to when I left, I was there 1 hour total, given I had showed up during a busy period, that is a new record for me :) I received a phone call with my results within 2 hours after I left. This is the first time I have been able to say this about any of the urgent care facilities in wichita, KS (that I have visited),- I highly recommend giving AFC Urgent Care a try! :) I look forward to going back here again when needed :) To the Staff: Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality!

My son waited an hour and a half and spent about 1 minute with him. He had a large bump with a head on his neck that had gotten worse over the last week. She said he needed to be on antibiotics because it could go into an abscess but she didn’t want to do anything with it because of the nerves in that area. She prescribed an antibiotic but didn’t even take the time to tell him to see his family doctor. I understand the amount of people that are seen in there but expecting maybe five minutes after waiting that long and knowing how infected it was, was unacceptable. I talked to the doctor who I believe was from India and not easy to understand and told her I would think they would want input to better relate to other patients instead of feeling like you were being herded through.

The front desk staff was very helpful. But the nursing/Dr staff was very dismissive. They told me her hives were from bug bites. She hadn’t been outside and bug bites don’t spread all over the body. I took her to another immediate care they were AMAZING. (I did call her Primary care Dr but they couldn’t get her in today so they said to take her to immediate care) they listened to me and the timeline. Found out she is allergic to the antibiotic she was on for an ear infection. All I can say is trust your gut and ALWAYS advocate for your kids.

I was erroneously charged a $50 copay and they submitted the claim to my insurance under a different parent company name, causing my insurance to deny the claim and attempt to collect funds from me. After hours on the phone with my insurance company, I was forced to call the Wichita office and attempt to get help in getting the claim resubmitted under the right company name. Catrinka at the front desk was incredibly rude, would interrupt me, condescending and not clear in her resolution. At no fault of mine, they caused an incredibly stressful situation which required several hours of my time, and we’re not apologetic in the least. I absolutely do not recommend going here if you have United Health Care. There are other urgent care options available in town.

I have seen PA. Elzabeth Bui several times. This physician is always happy to see me. I like how she helps me feel better when I need to be seen. I love how she listens to my medical concerns. I can not tell you how wonderful of a provider she is at this facility. We are so fortunate to be treated by such a wonderful PA. The front desk associates are also very knowledgeable and kind. The nurses are excellent and make you feel very comfortable sharing your medical concerns.

Their web site boasts that they are a walk in EKG clinic and can perform the test if requested by your doctor. Today they refused to perform an EKG without seeing one of their providers first even though we had an order from our primary physician requesting the EKG. This is obviously a way to increase their profit by charging insurance for an unnecessary Dr visit as we were already seeing another physician and just needed the test performed so it could be provided to our doctor for review.

Fiancé went there for covid testing. Came back positive. Even though she is immunocompromised the doctor basically told her to take Tylenol and ibuprofen and it will take care of itself if it doesn’t then we should take her to the emergency room.. she hasn’t gotten better and we were expecting some sort of steroid at least. We can’t afford to just walk into the emergency room whenever we want that’s why we came here in the first place.

My family showed up close to closing time, as out of towners, with a child who had severely injured herself at Bontanica. We were in an unknown city, clueless as to how severe her injury was, and we were shown the most compassionate and efficient care. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were fully taken care of at their facility, as well as gave us detail guidance as to where to go next. She ended up having to stay overnight, at a local hospital, and have surgery the next morning. What was supposed to be a quick day trip to Wichita, ended up being quite the traumatic experience, but was made a lot better by the wonderful people at AFC Urgent Care.♥️

I really love the female doctors here they know how to talk to people to make them feel more comfortable and less scared. The staff is really nice and patient. Only one doctor here that I’m not a fan of but he does do good work still just has to get better at making women feel comfortable.

Been using them for years in place of ER calls and we have always been very happy with their level of treatment. Dr. Mansody (so?) was probably the most comforting physician I have ever encountered. Kind and very professional.

Great , friendly, kind and fast. No appointment I think I was there a total of maybe 30 minutes at the most. They found a pharmacy for me that is open in Sunday so I could get my RX today. Hopefully I won’t get sick again but if I do I will come back for sure.

Love this place. The people are so kind! I will drive out of my way just to go to this specific clinic. Their wait time is usually pretty fast too. I feel listened to & they explain everything very well and makes it a easy place to be vulnerable and not afraid to ask questions. 10/10

I had called about ever urgent care on a Sunday trying to figure out their wait times/ walk in rules as I am not from the Wichita area and needed my 2yo son seen. AFC let me check in prior to arriving and I had all my paperwork filled out in my car. This was a huge blessing with a grumpy 2yo. I think I was only in the waiting room for 15 mins and with 15 mins I was on my way with the meds he needed. By far the best waitlist system (others told me I had to wait an hour plus in the building and could not leave. With a sick 2yo, that would be about impossible to keep him entertained and off of surfaces)

Elizabeth the PA was amazing. She was patient with me and super cool. I will mention that I hate shots and they always hurt. But Elizabeth the AWESOME PA made the shots not hurt at all. Please keep her, she’s funny and awesome and I love her attitude.

Staff was excellent. The doctor was extremely knowledgable & was assertive with treatment, which I like, and after 1 day there is already a vast improvement in my toe issue. The x-ray specialist was also extremely knowledgable & able to zero in on & identify specifically what the issue cause was (arthritis). After only a single visit, the problem is on its way to being resolved & I now have a path forward to address it in the future. I would highly recommend this facility & staff, you accomplished in 1 visit what would have likely taken several visits elsewhere. THANK YOU!!!!!

I was skeptical about coming in yesterday after bad reviews but needed something quick for the flu, but check in was fast and the LPN Dalia was extremely helpful and kind. The Provider was awesome. Definitely don’t trust what u read before giving them a chance!

Registration procedures timely and redundant. Form asks for husband's name about 4 times. I'm here to remove stitches they put in 6 days ago, but I have to fill out all forms as if I'm new patient. If you are sick, bleeding have a sick child it's simply too time consuming and difficult to complete forms on phone. I preferred coming here in the past but probably won't come here in the future due to these new registration procedure. When I was here after my fall last week my head was stitched but I wasn't really examined. I had to go to my primary doctor the next day for XRay and to be evaluated for concussion which I did have.

Dr Mansoor has amazing bedside manner. Came out while in waiting room and asked each person what they were there for and said they would be with them shortly. Nurse who did vitals was very friendly. Extremely satisfied with my visit. Will be back for all DOT physicals in future as you are treated like a person here. Great doctor.
