👍👍 My 6 year old Goldendoodle has had allergies and very constant itching for 5+ years. The vet listened intently to what I said. He did not prescribe another RX like other vets had done in the past. He recommended I try a Hydrolyzed-1 protein only food to see if that may reduce my dogs itching. Wow, h... People often mention Johnson, staff, Myla, time, great, room,

My dog now has NO more itching and he loves his new food.

Dr. Johnson has been the vet for our entire family. His compassion and love for animals is far beyond what I have seen with other vet clinics. All of our babies love him and yours will too!

Dr. Johnson is amazing! He handles all of our fur babies and we fully trust him. He always offers multiple options for treatment when things come up, as well as describes then benefits or downsides to them. They are also cost conscious and always will to provide a quote before charging you. The staff is also amazing and our animals LOVE all the girl. I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else as long as this place is around

The vet took his time and thoroughly examined my dog which made me feel good to see a vet not rush through and examination.

Dr Johnson is such a calming presence to me and my cats every time I come in. Even when sometimes there are hard conversations to be had about my cats health. He’s very thorough in his assessments and answer any questions I have. He’s very gentle with my cats & patient when they’re scared. The techs and other team members there are also amazing. They’re always so friendly and remember me and my pets. They always provide an invoice and approval before doing anything going forward so we’re not surprised by the cost and they accept CareCredit which has been so helpful. I am so grateful for this place and trust my pets life with him and his team.

Have been going to willowbend animal hosp for several years. Most dogs put their tail between their legs and are frightened to death. My dog can't wait to see the techs who are great and Dr Johnson, who is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Very friendly staff, great with animals. Quick and genuine about their care. Easy to schedule appointments and change based on your schedule.

My mom's dog was very sick. Instead of euthanizing him the vet calls her up wants her to sign her rights over so a lady that works there can adopt him. like she is a terrible person dog owner. That dog was like a her own kid loved that dog. She told him no they finally put the dog down. But didn't have to add more curisen to the fire rude staff.

I’m grateful for Dr Johnson and staff. They demonstrated care, patience and understanding towards our dear Bubbles and family during a difficult time. They even called to check in to see how Bubbles was doing while we waited for a diagnosis.

Just called them to set up an appointment. I’ve had many dogs and calling vets offices you often get poor customer service, sometimes i can understand it. Sometimes people just seem really unfriendly, even in person. Like they don’t even like animals. They lady I just spoke with has great energy, was helpful, and efficient. Thank you a ton! I will update about service but keeping this 5 star cause that employee. Sometimes setting appointments is the toughest part, being greeted by someone friendly makes it feel safe to give you animal to them.

I took my dog in for a second opinion only, Dr. Johnson is so thorough and really was helpful. He later called to check and see how my dog was doing even knowing he was only a second opinion. long story short we have now changed vet's and Dr, Johnson is now our full time vet. He has always called me personally to check on my pets and to give me any test results. The girls on his staff are also so friendly and do their best to help with anything they can. We are so happy with the service we get there. We are new have been using them only about 5 months now and we are really happy with them. We do have a dog who has chronic bronchitis so we have visited many times in the short time we have been using them. All together we have three dogs who are now treated there. I highly highly recommend Dr. Johnson. He is a very caring vet I have never gotten the feeling it is just about money, he really cares and it shows. We have had one experience there that was not to my satisfaction. One of my dogs needed blood work drawn for a test, the girl tried the neck and could not hit the vein, she said the vein was rolling on her. she then tried the hind leg and again could not hit a vein, she said he had small veins and there was to much hair. I decided not to let her try a third time, so I asked if Dr. Johnson was in she said he was and she would take our dog to him if I wanted him to try. I wanted Dr. Johnson to try however I wanted him to come to the room and do it, when I asked her to have him come to the room she said he was to busy. I said then we will pass as I was not sure what the difference in him coming to the room and her taking the dog to him was it is a small place and either way he would be drawing the blood. I will call to get another appointment for his blood work as we need the results for the test. Other than that this place has always been great and we have never experienced a problem.

Dr. Johnson and his staff saved my cats life! We came in with an emergency and they were able to immediately get us in and save his life - they said they suspected he had minutes. They gave us new medication and have consistently called to check in on his status and see how WE are also doing. I'm going to continue visiting. they've gained a permanent patient.

So thankful for Dr. Johnson and his team. Our poor Greyhound had an emergency where his toenail had come off (because we haven’t been walking him as much in the HEAT). They showed great care and consideration for a very nervous dog!

I would not recommend this place to anybody especiallyyy anybody with a bully mix ! I’m a obsessed dog mom i have a american bulldog/pitbull that’s 1 with a lot of anxiety towards anyyy new people.. but has NEVER growled or shown teeth never has done anything mean to child or adult( i’m trying to work on her being comfortable) i’m very picky where i take Myla because i never wanted to feel this way with her but my past vet (Prairie Ridge) was on the other side of town and i was trying to find something closer i truly didn’t think i’d regret it like i did . Before i get into how they treated her they weren’t very helpful for example i asked the male doctor about foods and he said he heard of them but doesn’t know much about the foods nd pushed off me asking what i should feed her which was weird to me .. I’ll get into how she was treated now the ladies in the front were super nice even though you could tell she was scared they had no problem getting close to Myla or interacting with her and getting information from me about Myla . From the start with the doctor it was red flag he didn’t even give her a chance see her or nothing he walked into the room with a muzzle (which i’m well aware that is not how they do it with every dog) He didn’t attempt to get close to Myla at all he asked me from the get go if she’s bitten anyone the assistant was smiling and at least touching myla .. but i told him no about biting and i told him i’m not comfortable with a muzzle multiple times and that i would help he told me no but proceeded to let me hold her while he was looking at her bumps she had (the reason i went) he was really hesitant and did nothing like praise or try to comfort Myla he was not 1% sympathetic for Myla which i look for in my doctor for my furry friend definitely ! after they left to get a estimate he came back told me they have to muzzle her to do the slide on her or he wouldn’t work on her so i agreed and said i wasn’t staying in the room then because i don’t think its fair Myla had to get muzzled knowing she was already terrified.. anyways right when i walk into the room the assistant first comment was “she didn’t bite” they lost all their chances and respect for me after that. i might be a little crazy over my baby but making me feel that way or treating Myla some way makes me uncomfortable i’m very sensitive about my girl... it is 2023 as a DOCTOR at a vet you should not be that scared of a nervous pitbull or act like that towards her !!

Doctor Johnson and his staff are very thorough, kind and caring in their treatment for my dog. They are a very personable staff. When Doctor Johnson treats my dog I feel he cares for him as if he were his own dog. Even though my dog isn't so thrilled about some of his treatments he is always excited to come to Willowbend Animal Hospital.

Shout out to the two ladies working at 6pm on May 15th, 2023. My hamster had a stroke and needed to be put down. They immediately read our faces when we came in and were super sweet. They promised to make sure my hamster was held and loved before she passed. I was offered to stay during the euthanasia or visit her after, but I opted out. The ladies were very comforting and promised to take good care of my sweet baby.

👍👍 Driving across country with a dog that has laryngeal paralysis and bad anxiety that required immediate treatment to continue breathing. With a blind call, the staff made room for her on the schedule and saw her quickly. The Doctor (Jenna) and staff were outstanding! Highly recommend.
