Iā€™d give zero stars if I could. My mom came in after she had emergency surgery cause she was having horrible pain. She couldnā€™t even stand or walk properly. I asked for a wheel chair and this guy was like yeah if there isnā€™t in the front we canā€™t really help you. Thankfully I was able to find a wheelchair eventually. My mom was in horrible pain & i kept requesting help. But they kept referring back to a list. When the waiting room had like 6 people waiting. I also asked a nurse if my mom could get a cup of ice and all she said was ā€œCan she not do water? Cause Iā€™m up front and canā€™t move.ā€ Extremely rude and non sympathetic considering where they work. After 4+ hours in the waiting room we decided to go elsewhere. I would suggest seeking help somewhere else.

My ER trip started miserably and went downhill from there for the 7 hours I was in their "care". Upon check in the providers Michelle Snodgrass and Brent Rockley interrogated me on why I was there. I explained my symptoms and that my Dr. had sent me to the ER and that they could call him for more information. They made a snide joke about how he probably wouldn't answer. Their tone told me that they felt I was wasting their time. 7 hours sitting in uncomfortable chairs, while having back pain, waiting for an mri, and having them added only one issue that I had explained to them. I saw others "treated" just as poorly by the physicians. The one shining light was the medical tech. She was empathetic and kind. However, I would never recommend this hospital to anybody I care about.

Really really bad ER nurse's and staff. Was up there with my mother. It took forever for the nurse to do anything. She was in the ER room since 11:00am and the never turned her. She was in so much pain. They finally turned her kind of at 9:50pm. I had to keep asking and asking and it was always one moment. I had to help with it and I have no medical training, so I did not know if I did it right. They didn't even use a pillow, they used a blanket I picked up off the floor. That is gross. She also used the bathroom in bed and took them over an hour to change her. And when they did they ripped out her IV port and there was blood everywhere. When I did a complaint to the supervisor they turned off her call light which I was able to call the nurse's desk and talk to them directly. Now when I hit the call light no one comes or answers. If I can give no stars I would.

I typically wouldnā€™t give an ER 5 stars. However after being seen on 03/17/2022, I feel like 5 stars isnā€™t enough. For being understaffed and busy the care I received was excellent. Clint, did my IV and he was so personable and friendly. Even showing me the difference between a vein and artery on a sonogram. Every person that helped that day, was professional, even during a busy time. I wish there was more praise I could give. Just thank you, to all staff at this hospital. For putting yourselves on the line for the health of others.

Wonderful place to have your baby. If I was reviewing just that and my sons NICU experience alone it would be 5 stars, but my experience with the pediatric ER is what warrants the 1 star. They blatantly disrespected my wife, and even went as far as to question her love for our baby. He wasn't even seen by a doctor! Only by a nurse practitioner who said he would be back and then sent a nurse in with discharge paperwork!!! We had two different specialist and my sons pediatrician telling us to bring him to the ER, only for them to tell us that we should have consulted our pediatrician before bringing him in??? Which we did! They cut us off before we could even get any word in and truly do NOT care about your children unless they are actively DYING! They did no testing or lab work for my son, and thus forced us to take him to another ER where they found out he was severely anemic and had multiple other things off in his blood work which put his life in jeopardy! Completely inconsiderate staff there, and genuinely a random nurse off the street would provide better care.

Took my 3 year old in after being told at urgent care he would need ER assistance because of a severe injury to his mouth, I walked in with a hysterical toddler crying and bleeding from the mouth. Explained at check in that UC said he may need to see surgeon on call they sent us to the waiting room for 2 hours! 2 hours of holding my baby in a waiting room crying while holding gauze on his actively bleeding mouth! Then we finally were escorted to pediatrics, and that was a slowwww process. The doctor and nurses were nice and great but we did soooo much waiting which with a 3 yo that was exhausted, starving, and uncomfortable It was miserable for him and I both. They disagreed with the Dr at UC and ended up giving him a few stitches. So hopefully that was the right call, only time will tell. Overall we spent 6 hours at Wesley and of that 6 hours we had interaction with the staff for maybe 1.5 hours the rest was either in a waiting room or in a room waiting. I understand being understaffed and busy but manā€¦ that was an excruciating experience. I will say the pediatric Dr was very informative and I am appreciative of her work.

They ridiculously charged my husbandā€™s insurance with over $3000 for just doing interview and minor assessment. They literally severely overcharge, so that our co-pay goes high. Iā€™m so disappointed! They almost done nothing, I swear, just an interview and minor assessment then the provider charged $3,368.00??? The practitioner, just palpated my husbandā€™s tummy, is this painful? No, is this painful? No, Is this painful? No and thats it then few questions and wrote one med prescription. Thats for $3,378??? Thats crazy!!! We are not going to go back to this hospital!

It was awful. Was there for 6 hours, 4 of those hours nothing happened and then the doctor admitted to forgetting about us. Prescribed me pain medication but because I was there to long by the time I got out the pharmacy had closed and I was in pain all night. Never saw a nurse or doctor wash their hands even after touching their phones or doorknobs. Some didnā€™t even wear gloves. X ray techs were very rough with the limbs with wounds that I was dealing with almost vomited from the pain. Zero communication between any of the nurses or doctors. I was hurt and miserable from a wreck I got in and they did not really make it better. Will never go back

Went there at 6 am and got right in. all I had to do was enter my SSN in the computer. Wheeled to my room and immediately hooked up to monitor everything. Dr. Rockley was great. Nurses were great. The only complaint was I was not kept aware of hospital admittance information. I do realize that after I was admitted, they were slammed with other patients. Communication is the key. All in all, excellent experience!

Staff was halfway decent. Some of them were rude. I asked for water after I threw up trying to rehydrate and they acted like I disrespected them. They would give me half a glass and would be upset when I asked for some more. Really makes me regret even going in. Terrible I hate going in for medical emergency when I get treated like that. Next time Iā€™ll just die so staff doesnā€™t get upset over water. Thanks.

DCF was called on the word of this medical center with a rating of 2.1. the stories in the reviews are horrific. they stole my son based off of their word. he's in the hospital with bleeding in his brain for 2 days and we have no update. today is our first fathers day. this is absolutely demonic what they're doing to our family.

Was admitted fairly quickly given how busy they were. Julie took over my case and advocated for my comfort and the speed of my care. Took almost 2 hours from the end of my care to getting the insurance people to take my info so that I could leave. Was there for 4.5 hours total but I did feel well taken care of to the best of certain departments' capabilities.

I have never been talked to so disrespectfully by a medical staff member. Under the recommendation of my sonā€™s pediatrician and GI specialist I took him into the ER. He was not ever seen by a medical doctor only a nurse practitioner and was discharged without even as much as a work up. They questioned my decision making as his mother and said that if I really cared I wouldnā€™t let him slip through the cracks of the medical system! Funny because THEY are the crack! They wouldnā€™t even let me finish his bottle that he had already started before kicking us out while my son was screaming so much his heart-rate was 190! God forbid your child has a chronic condition that takes more time and work up! They wonā€™t even bother to order an X-ray, ultrasound or labs! Go home! Bring them back when they are dying or almost dead!!! Absolutely terrible! Wesley as a hospital in general is great but the pediatric ER is the worst experience I have ever had and I will NEVER be going back and will be advising all my loved ones to do the same!

Went in as I was told by my doctor for an ultrasound. Waiting room was awful but not the staffs fault, they at least brought me back in a quiet area to do my insurance info. Once I was back in a room the nurses were very kind and helpful. The two nurses or techs that took me back to do my ultrasound were so sweet and kept talking me through everything to calm me down. The only thing that was annoying other than that was how long it took to get the IV out and get discharged but thatā€™s just part of being at the ER. The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable in a really uncomfortable situation

Absolute worst hospital I myself as a nurse had ever received a lack of care in. Walked in with chief complaints of stomach pain and back pain initial BP of 188/100 after walking through their treacherous parking lot that is way too small for any emergency room patients. They retook my BP after nearly an hour and it of course went down since I hadnā€™t walked a mile in the last hour to reach their building. They only documented the lower BP reading. Allergies, PCP, and my address not inputted correctly in charting. Told I needed labs and CT waited nearly 3.5 hours for a CT in the meantime nobody introduced themselves except the PA and the little girl that transferred me from the ER to my CT. Was informed my labs and ct came back normal and was discharged. After discharge I reviewed my labs and ct report to find hey I actually do have a hernia and my BP is crazy high and wasnā€™t given information on either and some of my labs came back as abnormal also. This is beyond subpar and should be considered medical negligence and patient abandonment. I am extremely extremely livid and disappointed with this facility and itā€™s lack of care. Hoping I never have to return because if I do and get the same treatment I will become the nightmare patient.

AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COST. THEY WILL UNDERPERFORM AND STILL TAKE YOU TO BANK WITH NO APOLOGIES. EARLY BILL FROM HOSPITAL WAS $6000 BEFORE INSURANCE.

I took my one month old this morning as he was having trouble breathing and the walk in clinic told us we need to get him to the ER immediately. We were the only patient in their new little waiting room while itā€™s under construction, and everyone was standing around talking while I had a one month old, struggling to get the right air.

We had an unfortunate incident with dog bites. ER was very full. However the staff was very attentive to each person waiting and they were taking people back to been seen left and right. It seemed that once someone would walk out, another person would walk in needed care. You could tell the staff was busy, however in our experience they were still taking their time with us to make sure they covered everything needed for our care. Our PA (I believe) was Drea and sheā€™s was amazing! She was quick, but thorough, she was kind but stern with my feisty fiancĆ© who is not a fan of doctors, or hospitals to say the least. She was amazing and took great care of us! We seen a few different staff members from check in, to X-rays, to consults, to stiches and to care. Each person was great, kind, attentive, personable and knowledgeable! Such a great experience, considering the reason we were there.
