This is the most compassionate group of people I have ever met. I felt at ease with them in my home and appreciate how the clinicians listened and created a care-plan that allowed my daughter to remain in her room, in her bed, through end-of-life. This was her biggest goal, to be home, and I’m not sure how we could have managed without such an incredible team. I am grateful our community has a non-profit Hospice that is truly mission driven. They paid attention to who my daughter was as an individual and what was going to create the most comfortable experience possible for her. Our nurse created a comforting experience for my younger kids by allowing them a safe space to ask questions and providing them with answers and loving support. If you or a loved one is struggling with a terminal diagnosis - this hospice team will provide great ease during even the most sorrowful of times.

Harry Hynes Hospice took loving care of my husband. The wonderful bath aide who sang to him and talked in a soothing voice and made him laugh was wonderful. The social worker and chaplain were always available when I was having trouble handling the progression of events. They gave me the confidence and the peace of mind needed to get past the crisis. Nurses were always professional and knowledgeable, and explained things to me in a comforting way to guide me through the process. I am now a volunteer for Harry Hynes because I want to give back the gifts that were given to me. I often highly recommend the caring , professional and compassionate people at Harry Hynes to others.

Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice is a nonprofit hospice that puts the people it cares for first. The staff is highly experienced and compassionate. They are deserving of a 6 star rating if there was one.

Several years ago, when our mother was dying of cancer, the staff members at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice provided compassionate care that relieved her pain and distress, allowing her to say goodby with dignity. Additionally, our whole family was given quality time with Mom at all hours, supported by many individual kindnesses from the staff. I will never forget how dedicated they are, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. They have most certainly earned their titles as Angels of Mercy!

The staff at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice provided very kind, caring, and compassionate support during the most difficult times imaginable for our family. The staff members made sure that we had all of the services, supplies, and equipment necessary to care for our loved one at the end of life. Emotional support and teaching about the end of life process was provided to the whole family. Harry Hynes programs continue to help with the grieving process after our loss through an excellent support group. The staff is to be commended for their wonderful work! Our family is very grateful for the services we received and highly recommend the program to others!

My husband was a patient, and we could not have asked for better care for him or the family. The staff is so kind, caring, and attentive. They were always available to answer any questions we had. Everyone from Donna, who consulted with us to Theresa, the social worker, to his nurses, Maddie, Petra, and Dee, who cared for him, nurse assistants Heather, Anna, who opened her "spa" to shave him, to Cathy, who sat with me when I needed it. ( I know I am missing some) The resident pastor, Don, prayed with us. Dr Morgan was caring in answering questions. The willingness of the staff to help, listen, or just sit with you for awhile was beyond measure. I highly recommend this group

I am a relatively new volunteer with Harry Hynes. Everybody I have dealt with, talked to, has been absolutely wonderful. This is a very caring and kind group of people. I am very honored to be part of the Harry Hynes Family. The compassion is shared with each and every person they are comforting. From the patient to the patients family, to others in the staff. Very good people, who give of their heart

Thanks to hospice care the death of my mom was an experience I was honored to be a part of. The care provided, the guidance , education and attention paid to her and my family allowed us to forget the stressful minutiae and simply take advantage of the time we had left. I’ve not met anyone with Harry Hynes who didn’t consider it a privilege to be a part of the process. They are professional, caring , and to be quite honest , angels. Each and every one of them.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice during my aunt's final months. From the moment we contacted them, the team displayed an unwavering dedication to ensuring her comfort and dignity throughout her journey. The clinical team’s expertise and attentiveness were evident in every aspect of their care. They worked tirelessly to manage her pain and symptoms, always with a gentle touch and heartfelt concern. The emotional support they provided to both my aunt and our family was invaluable, easing the burden of this profound journey. In the same manner, Harry Hynes Hospice went above and beyond to ensure my aunt's emotional and spiritual needs were met. Their holistic approach to end-of-life care offered personalized counseling and guidance, helping her find peace and acceptance. I would like to commend the entire hospice team for the respectful and dignified manner in which they honored my aunt's wishes throughout her journey. They respected her autonomy, providing choices and comfort measures that allowed her to maintain a sense of control during her final days. The dedication of the hospice aides was evident not only in their actions but also in their genuine empathy and understanding. They became an extended family for us, offering support and solace when we needed it most. I wholeheartedly recommend Harry Hynes Hospice to anyone seeking exceptional end-of-life care for their loved ones. My aunt's journey would not have been as peaceful and meaningful without their exceptional care. Thank you, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, for being a source of light during a dark time.

I volunteer at Harry Hynes Hospice and the staff and their professionalism and care is amazing. My dad also stayed in their IPU unit at St. Francis and they took such great care with him in his final days. I would absolutely suggest them if looking for any services needed.

My husband received care from Harry Hynes when he was diagnosed with cancer. Their main goal was to help him live his last days with dignity and as little pain as possible. They did that and more. They also cared about me as his caregiver during his time left and afterwards. I can't sing their praises enough.

Thank you for all that Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice did for both my Mom and myself. Harry Hynes does not convey the hospice philosophy nor mission. This hospice company is a disgrace to all hospices who do provide excellent care. Harry Hynes ignored my father's MPOA. When I spoke to administration, I was given promises that were minimally honored by staff. The nurses have minimal knowledge of disease process symptoms related to the the dying process. The nurse usually did not gather basic vital signs at visits. I was not even notified of my father's passing until 12 hours after it happened even though I was MPOA for my father. The social workers do not communicate and do not assist with community resources for families. Every member of their field staff I did speak to, lacked basic kindness, compassion, and manners. Empathy leaves no room for rudeness. The staff could use lessons in basic customer service along with basic legal and ethical principles.
