    I initially went in for severe allergies. Was seen by Dr. Hawley?? Seen for less than 10minutes and charged $375 after billing my insurance. Insurance denied. He looked up my nose and called/billed it as an nasal endoscopy? What a rip off. Before receiving the bill we had taken our kids in as they needed a tonsillectomy. Scheduler is straight up rude and not sure how they could keep someone employed like this. I WILL never be returning here again with myself/family. They wanted to charge upfront for ear tubes that may not even have to be done. Primary doctor advised NOT to do it and we just said never mind to The ENT. They try to tack on every charge they can and insurance will refuse it, they then proceed to pass it on to the Patient when it doesn’t even make sense. $375 for a 10minute nose exam for allergies? Get real, quit scamming people. Poor poor service. Borderline theft.

    I’ve been battling this office for a year. They over schedule and under serve. My last appointment took over an hour for my infant to be seen, of which I complained about at the time. The latest appointment took over 30 minutes to be seen of which I again, complained about. They of course apologized and then said that they were sending over my sons prescription and I could drive over to pick it up. An hour later, the prescription was still not sent in. When I called, I was told that they were really busy and just haven’t been able to get to it yet but were going to get to it at that time. Needless to say, they got an earful due to over-scheduling and again, under serving as well as the rude white staff member at the front desk. The Hispanic gals were completely nice and professional to their patients. Not sure why the white woman wasn’t nice to any of hers from my long wait time and being able to observe after she was rude to me. The specialist Dr. Hawley was nice as always and apologized for the staff and the wait times and was very professional but he cannot be the only person in the office taking responsibility. It’s not fair to him or the practice that the scheduling and other staff members are horrendous. DO BETTER because you can all be replaced at any time. The doctors can’t and they are who we need. You’re all employed and EARNING a paycheck. Not deserved a paycheck. Act like it.

    My daughter is 2 years old and her tonsils are so huge, her throat has closed. She shoves her fingers down her throat so she can breath. The Dr said she would have to stay the night in the hospital and spent us to scheduling. The scheduling receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. She proceeded to hand me her business card and pointed to the door saying "there is your exit." without saying any other words. I then stood up and went straight to the front desk to talk to someone. She then approached me to tell me that my daughter's situation was not an emergency and if I were to go to a hospital they would refuse to help us. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Dr office. My children deserve better than to be treated like cattle.

    My first appointment here...a very comfortable clinic with friendly intake. From start to finish, everyone I was in contact with were outstanding...straightforward and helpful. Though the prognosis wasn't what I expected, Sarah, Ashleigh, and especially Dr. De la Garza were top notch and took time to explain my options and test results and how they may play out in the future. Many smiles on the way out as well. THANK YOU!

    Wonderful experience, if there's anything wonderful about sinus surgery, Dr Le took excellent care of me during and after my surgery. He explained everything and what to expect. So friendly, caring and kind. If I need anything again, Dr Le and his team Will definitely be where I'll be going. Thank you for caring!

    I cannot give enough gold stars for Dr. Hawley and the others we have interacted with here. Dr Hawley- did sinus surgery on our boy, priceless. (He had massive infection for several years and always sick and even passing out..resolved) He continues with allergy immunotherapy and is doing well! He also has treated our youngest with fluid behind ears and failing hearing tests, borderline needing tubes, and left it up to us without being pushy. Gave us all our options and allowed us to decide what is best for our child. The audiologist at this clinic are so kind and amazing! Reception staff have been great along with the ladies in the allergy department. Thank you all!!

    Sadly, MKENT has gotten too big, I don't feel that I have received compassionate care and am not called back when messages are left. Very disappointed with treatment from a virus that affected my hearing. I feel that more guessing is going on more than treating what is really going on.

    While the care is just fine, the customer/client service is terrible. The person operating their billing/insurance department (I'll leave names out of it) has been incredibly difficult to work with. The information she is giving could be accurate, but she is great at making you feel like less than a human being while discussing it. There is absolutely no reason to treat people like you could give two craps while they go through an unfamiliar process. We need help, not to be treated like a waste of someone's time. MKENT is lucky they are one of the main providers for the city of Wichita because if not, they would lose many customers. I have spoken with other friends and family, and they have voiced the same opinion. It's frustrating when we have no other options. As for the management team at MKENT, TAKE TIME TO READ THESE REVIEWS. It is the same complaints year after year. When will you make changes to provide the same excellent patient experience throughout the office as you do when you are performing medical care?

    Scheduled appointment for 4:30. We called due to a wreck, stopped train and construction. I was told to come on in. We got there 4 mins after appointment time to be told we wouldn’t be seen after an hour drive, which is normally 30 minutes, and a phone call approving our late arrival. The ladies at the front desk refused to talk to the allergy department and just dismissed us to leave. Called the allergy department and was told they were waiting for us knowing we were coming late. They had no idea the front desk turned us away. I cancelled all appointments due to the way this was handled.

    Don't expect to get through to scheduling for at least 20+ minutes (the DOCTOR had to reschedule and I got to wait on hold for 23 minutes to make the new appointment). That alone is enough to look elsewhere. Son was prescribed pain and anti-nausea meds following ear tube and adenoid removal. Not only did the ENT never inform me of this until I called to ask later, they only remembered to send out for the pain med prescription but forgot the anti-nausea. I had to call again and go back to the pharmacy later with a post-op nauseous 5 year old. Only go here if you have to.

    Absolutely the worst. Receptionist had no idea if patient privacy rights!!! Needs to be sued! P.A. That saw my husband awful, very arrogant and could have cared less. The nurse that called us back was very sweet and nice. $163.20 for 5 minutes of being treated rude. Will never go back or recommend that office!

    I would give it zero stars if I could. The nurse tried to hide the cost of a pointless (expensive) procedure & then said “don’t worry, your insurance will cover it”. Nope. The doctor was very impatient & acted like I was wasting his time. Find someplace else to go. Edit: Guess who’s not a real person & doesn’t answer their phone… Yep, Jackie Stephens.

    My 1 star review is mainly for this billing department; however, I will note that the surgery I received with Bunting was a complete waste of my time and money, and I’ve seen no improvement. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before signing up for this! I’ve been working to pay off my medical bill and made an agreement with this billing department on monthly payments. Each month I have to play phone tag with their billing office to make a payment. I typically leave a voicemail and then they call back a day later…often while I’m in the middle of a work day where I can’t always answer my phone. I missed my payment in October because of this runaround. I realized this in November and made a double payment. I was shocked to find out I have now been sent to collections! When my November double payment was made, the billing office did not informed me that my account had already been sent to collections and I didn’t receive any calls or warnings from their office. I was only 14 days late on my October payment when they sent me to collections. I have yet to receive a return call from this billing department, but I did talk to the collections company who informed me that the ENT office didn’t report my double payment to the collections company. Now I have to get the ENT’s office to report my double payments to the collections company and re-arrange my monthly payment budget to get this paid off before it’s reported on my credit score. I have never had so much trouble making payments with a medical office. If they are not going to have any grace for 1 late payment (after a history of on-time payments), I would like to see their billing department get a little better at taking payments when they are called.

    My daughter and I have both had operations done by doctors at this office, both Dr. le and Dr. Dr La Garza are fantastic. However, one of the PAs leaves a lot to be desired. He was rough with my 7 year old daughter and seemed to lack some bedside manner during her nasal cauterization. This is the third time she’s had it done and the first time one of the PAs did it she got silver nitrate all over her lip. It’s an associated risk, but could have been mitigated with more care.

    Mid KS ENT is one of the best physicians offices I've ever had an experience with, not just ENT offices. Christy, APRN and Dr Stumpe have been so incredibly helpful with my daughter suffering from antibiotic resistant strep throat. They are the only office who would listen to the whole story and are working hard on a solution. I appreciate them greatly. Not only are the providers wonderful, office staff have been phenomenal! The receptionists remember us and are always encouraging and compassionate, along with their RNs/MAs that pass on messages. Thank you all!!
