Being part of the McAdams/Brewer Zumba family for 8+ years I felt it important for me to respond to Patricia Hardrick's post made 4 days ago. Agencies that take cash from the community are trained how to recognize counterfeit money. If they suspect the bills MAY be counterfeit, they are REQUIRED to reject the payment. I commend Anessa for being a responsible employee. Ms. Hardrick should EDUCATE herself on current counterfeit trends. The 1 dollar bill is most often counterfeited because of it's ease to pass. It's unfortunate Ms. Hardrick would post a bad review for am outstanding employee for doing her job and doing it well. It is also disappointing that Ms. Hardrick did not attempt to resolve her issue in a less public manner. A public post is malicious and hurtful. It hurts the integrity of the center that has provided so much to our community. It hurts all us who utilize the center and love the staff that work there. That hurt is more costly than $2. Anessa is professional, selfless, dedicated and efficient and so appreciated. Keep up the great work!!

About a week ago, I paid to take a Zumba class with (5) one dollars bills. To my shock & amazement, the worker, Anessa refused my payment. Plus it was a little embarrassing in front of the entire class. She claimed that 2 of the bills were counterfeit. So I paid with a $20. My hubby is a retired police officer & he had given me the bills from his tackle box where some reel oil had gotten on the bills. He thought that it was quite silly that anyone would think that they were counterfeit. Also , counterfeiters don't waste time counterfeiting $1 bills. Up until this incident, I would've give 4-5 stars

My friends and I have been playing pickleball at this facility for several years. Cory and Anessa have always gone above and beyond to accommodate us. The gym is always clean and the restrooms are spotless.

This recreation center is always clean and inviting. Anessa and Corey are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoy my time there.

Great park with a really nice turf field for the kids to play baseball on!

It was a quiet place at the time i was there. There is a cool basketball court with great court paintwork.

We attended the cookout for Fred Douglas Lodge No. 99 Centennial Celebration. It is a very nice center. There is a kitchen wit a room attached to set up tables to serve food

Attended my grandson's baseball game. The park appeared clean and well maintained. Would like to swe the fences a little higher. Many a foul ball has hit a car

The staff at McAdams is amazing! They are so helpful and friendly and truly care about the community. I love working with them and just coming to spend time to be in their presence. They make such an impact on every life they touch! Highly recommend coming out to just say hello.

This facility is not what it use to be. The City has not put any resources here in years. Just like the neighborhood in which it sets. I am disappointed that they would let this facility go down in this manner. This is suppose to be a clean safe place for neighborhood kid's and adults to come for activities within neighborhood. But the condition of facility is not something to brag about. It's by far the worse open recreation center In Wichita, KS. Would not recommend this facility

This building was rented for a family gathering. Excellent experience. It was very clean. The AC had been turned on in plenty of time to cool the building down. Restrooms & kitchen area were clean. There was a staff person on-site; he was exceptionally polite, helpful & welcoming. Plenty of parking available. Wish I'd taken photos without family & friends to share.
