I just love PetSmart. The atmosphere is nice. The people are friendly. I took our dog there to be groomed for the first time yesterday. Kayla did an AMAZING job and it was only $50 not counting the tip. I wish I had a before picture to post. The after pics don't do her justice anyway. I was worried about taking her to a chain. Especially since another PetSmart here in town had, what I felt, very questionable groomers. I haven't been to the vet here so I can't say anything on that. I wish their outfits were a tad more affordable.... I should probably give four stars instead of five because of the prices but I just love the people here. I've never tried the training either but it's nice that they have that option.

I'm not sure who is leaving these reviews of a "clean" store. I used to work for PetSmart years ago and am absolutely APPALLED at the conditions the animals are in. Adoption cages should be tended to TWICE daily (unless needed more), small animals should be fed and watered FIRST THING in the morning, not "getting to it next" at 3pm. Figure it out PetSmart.

It's a pretty good spot to get pet supplies, but sometimes it is busy so be prepared to wait. Usually I have a pleasant experience and cashier's are helpful.

The sales associates we fine. We like the store but the grooming was not good this time. We have used the west side location before and Derby many times always with good results. Until today . This review is for the west side This time our pup was poorly groomed. I recut his hair myself when I got him home. Instead of a Mohawk she gave him a combover. All over hair was uneven and his claws were sharper than when we dropped him off. We have not had this issue before.. this was enough to make us decide Not to take him there again.

The cashier was wonderful. I did not think to ask her name. The staff is very welcoming and kind. This is why I keep going back to that store. Thank you Petsmart !

I went in store to buy a couple .20 cent FEEDER FISH. I use them to eat mosquito larvae in water feature in my yard. The manager Jessica made a big deal about the size they grow to. That I should be getting different fish. She went on and on until I gave up. She made a comment about me as I walked away. The next couple got a chuckle out of it. At register I discovered she was the manager. And Abbey the other employee refused to get the FEEDER FISH because she is the manager. And she has to follow what she said. So they must have been discussing this before exiting the front office. THEY are raising them to be EATEN!!! Feeder fish that are from her elbow to her knuckle and live 35 years……not a pet thus the name FEEDER. Please speak with her about professionalism.

The engaging welcome all too soon became vague input in answer to "basic to be expected questions". Refused to give so much as a ballpark money range for cost of German Shepherd puppy, insisted upon an unwelcome negotiation. To follow, had claimed dog would be large when in fact after following up on lineage of said line, revealed both Sire & Dam were medium weight & frame. Disappointed 😑

Just bought my first bearded dragon ever from them, and the experience has been amazingly awesome. I've had a lot of anxiety, having only really ever had dogs and cats, but every question I came to them with theu were utterly happy to answer and give their own experienced stories on! Little Bam-Bam started eating today finally, after two calls and a lot of worry, and they were all so so patient with me! Would 100% suggest these guys. Jenny up at the registers is also just amazing. She's always smiling and happy, with a different little silly headband every time we see her. Wish I had gotten other names but I'm terrible at remembering!

Went to get crickets, associate working that area said, "just a minute while I help this customer with taking his fish to the register". She never came back . . . After waiting 15 minutes, I went up front to the register to inquire. The manager apologized and got my crickets for me; when I checked out they gave me them for 1/2 price 'for the inconvenience'. It only saved me 77 cents, but I appreciated the gesture 😀

Thanks Andrew for doing a great job on my little long haired daushand, who I made a short haired baby now! It'll grow! Andrew did a fantastic job and I really appreciate his attention to my little baby. I'm not a big box fan store at all, but I travel for a living so sometimes it's just easier. The West Wichita Pet Smart, off of Tracy Street by Towne West Square. Here is a very reliable store for pet supplies of all kinds. For cats and dogs, the inventory selection is large and the convenience of having the variety can be a lifesaver. However, pricing here does exceed most competitors when something is not on sale. Many alternative pets and supplies are sold here as well, however, I can testify that terrible and misinformed information on exotic pets can be given here by a lot of the inexperienced staff. Still, the specials they have at times on cages and terrariums are some of the best deals in the Wichita area when the prices do drop. I have recently upgraded multiple reptile pets with the new line of Thrive cages from here that saved me hundreds and have worked out magnificently. Staff has been fair over the years, with a few shining employees that have made this location a pleasure to visit. There’s plenty other services offered here too like grooming, vet care, and adoption. I can recommend this pet store as a good choice for the west side.

Loved it we adopted our awesome new cat Ralph and it was an amazing experience. They also gave us free bag of cat food and made it super easy thank you for our fun loving cat.

I really like this particular (Towne West Area) location. The staff are always friendly, helpful and the store is always in good condition. I highly recommend downloading their app for more discounts/rewards. I always have a discount or reward to use so they give them out frequently.

I love their large selection of treats and cat toys. My cat goes nuts for the freeze dried meat treats, I get them as a special treat for him every once in awhile, and they tend to go on sale for a decent price. The cashiers are always friendly.

This place is great. They're so welcoming to my dog. They have a large selection of pet products including iguana Halloween costumes! I buy my baby's pro plan there. It seems to be fresh.

Terrible service took our princess in to be groomed cost was double what we was told did poor work and showed no concern about her separation anxiety had her for 4 hours when we got home she acted like she had no water or food while she was there and she was shaking and terrified when we got her back. Most of the 4 hours she was there they had her in the back locked In A cage. We will be finding another groomer to fix what they messed up and charged us double for. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

I gave a five star because some of the issues were Not their fault . Clean, kind and helpful. Many items were low or out. They told me business is slow.

They have about every selection of Purina Pro Plan food age groups (puppy, 2yo, adult, elderly) but then all the flavors are chicken and then there was one big bag of salmon flavor. My dog loves the beef but will eat any of it.

Great customer service. I went in for some fish and their they didn't have a really big selection at the time. I will still return, i just don't know when they get shipments of fish in. I live an hour away, so planning the trip would be more ideal if I knew when deliveries were.

They’re reliable in always having the dog food I’m always looking for with plenty of options in case we need to switch it up.

The associates are super friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are a bit too pricey, but other than that, I always enjoy my trips to PetSmart.

Honest hate going here. In years I've never found one redeeming thing petsmart does that makes me want to come back. I'm just always forced to because I need supplies rapidly sometimes. Their latest blunder includes selling me angelfish that carried ich, and killed $1500 of fish in my tank.

We were looking for Prescription Hills Science Diet I/D. Our Vet was closed for the afternoon. PetSmart had that and more so. For our finicky kitty, it came in individual cans. Fresh canned every morning.

Petsmart is a great place to buy all of your pet supplies. They also offer small animals and reptiles for purchase. I love their fish selection and prices. They offer all kinds of fish and selection depends on location. They have very reasonable prices and offer free water testing.

In terms of selection Petsmart offers a lot to choose from... for dogs that is. This store is a good place to get in and out and find what you need HOWEVER there is a price for having so much selection. Not my first choice if I'm trying to save money but when I need something they usually have it.
