Took my son to see puppies. Walked in and was greeted by a shorter blonde girl. Asked us what we were there for and I told her that my son asked me to take him to see puppies for his bday. She said oh ok let me know which one and I can help you. Why would you say that? Then go and tell someone else to not let us see the puppy. Walked around and I had seen a Yorkie mix that I've always wanted. Asked a darker hair lady to help and she was trying to get the puppy. Then I seen the blonde girl walked in and went to the side and the darker hair lady turned and they were talking. I knew then she was telling her not to let us see the Yorkie. The dark hair girl comes out and says are you here to play or interested in buying one? I said I'm interested and would like to play with the Yorkie. I've always wanted a Yorkie. She comes back and tells us her manager says we couldn't see the Yorkie. We were already in the waiting area. Humiliated...especially my son. I decided to leave and nowhere in site was the girl to be seen. This was embarrassing. So I called to ask for the manager. I asked the girl on the phone if the short blonde girl was the manager and if I can speak to her. She said yes. Girl on phone denied she was the short blonde girl. These must be children working here. There's alot of lying. Saying one thing and then doing another. Oh by the way...the family that walked in after me....I overheard them say they were there to play with puppies. If this doesn't seem racist then i dont know what it is...Must be.

We spent too much money, but our purchase was priceless! The puppies are adorable, but after investigation we found out they came from a puppy mill in Indiana! Everything was a lie! Not happy! Paid 1600.00 for a 500.00 dog!

Awesome pet store! They have many varieties of pets ranging from pugs to parakeets. Also, in the back there are bearded dragons and cool looking fish. If you are in the area, I recommend checking this place out.

We bought 2 bulldogs here. $12,000. Was told one had finished antibiotics and was well. 2 days later had to take him to the vet and was diagnosed with pneumonia. When we called they had no record of his treatment or that he was ever ill. Said they got him confused with another bulldog. . Called again about the reimbursement and was told I had to go through the warranty. He’s had 3 rounds of antibiotics. Later came back to redeem a $100 coupon and was told they wouldn’t honor it because it was a corporate coupon and the are privately owned. If you’re thinking about buying a dog here. I’d think again. This place is a rip off. And they have no problem selling sick animals. And no problem lying to you. It has been an awful experience. However. We love our dogs.

I absolutely love coming to the west location! I don't get swamped by salespeople handing me cute puppies. The manager is a genuine sweetheart who loves animals and the community. She is an encyclopedia of knowledge and a visit with her, and you'll walk away smarter and a better pet owner. The staff is first rate.

Do not apply for any card in this store. They applied for a card. They told me that it was a year without interest. The bank charged me interest from the first month. I went to complain to the store and they told me that they do not give that promotion. I feel cheated by this. people

Well aginst what I was told I adopted Maya Lynn here. I met her and fell completely in love. I feel like these puppies need homes too. Did I pay too much? Probably. But... the love of a puppy whether adopted or purchased knows no monetary value. Love is love. She is our Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier Maya Lynn and we love her to the moon and back.

I just adopted my boy Colt a few nights ago. Our family loves him so dearly already. As another review stated I was told by many people to avoid petland like the plague but, the staff was so helpful and absolutely amazing. Even taking their time to make sure we were all happy and taken care despite getting ready to close. I’m sorry to the staff that I can’t remember their names but but shout out to all of you and Becky! You all were so great, kind, caring, very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for introducing us to the newest part of our family!

Please be aware that if you buy a dog from Petland it could be very sick with either kennel cough or parasites. We also found out our puppy had a congenital overbite that we were told would need teeth pulled and after seeing the designated veterinarian, who I don’t believe is very good, we were told that our warranty would not cover that. Buyer beware please. It is so very expensive to buy a dog from Petland!

It wasn't bad because I had intent on just petting the dogs, and then there was a jack Russel terrier on sale I thought it was maybe at most 300$... They wanted 1200$ at least for him. He was cute, and so I felt bad just leaving him cause he might've had other issues going on that they didn't want to talk about, but I don't have 1200$ in my pocket to spend on a dog that probably has medical issues because it's bred to look a certain way. Sorry but no.

Tried to return unopened purchase. No refund, only store credit. I now have to buy items I don’t want or need. They lost my business.

I visited the Petland store many times! This particular time I went looking for a Shih tzu and found him. The staff was great both times. I was finally able to take him home, my husband wasn't supportive at first. I actually took him back to Petland to turn him in. After many tears I decided to give him to my granddaughter since her birthday was in just a few days. Well...after 48 hours my husband was picking him up and playing with him. His name is Barney and he's been a blessing to our family. Barney is well behaved and has been well cared for at 14 weeks! The Garrett's

My daughter loved the puppies! They were rlly healthy and so cute. The staff are very nice, but actually a scam, I know from one ad on our TV, and we couldn't find an axolotl. These are the only issues, thank you PetLand Staff! My daughter wants a husky.

We were looking for a specific breed pup and kinda got hit with sticker shock...we didn't need to finance, but there wasn't any bargaining offered to make a sale for us. So we left.

We had a lovely experience! Both ladies were professional and explained the whole process of adopting our new puppies! They are so fun and my two children are in love with them!

My wife and I have always enjoyed Petland stores. They feel like what pet stores used to be, where they actually had pets in them. Who doesn't like petting the rabbits and playing with the ferrets. The animal interactions are encouraged by the helpful staff. As a parrot owner we were pleased with the food and toy selection. The birds they had for sale seemed exceptionally tame for young birds. You could tell a lot of time had been spent with them.

Love, love Petland and the friendly staff. Picked up our new puppy, Lilly. She is a King Charles Cavalier and so full of love! She is a perfect fit for our family. Thanks Petland for working with our budget to make this happen. You are the best!

Got a sweet Aussie pup from there two days ago. She was coughing a little bit at the store, and when I asked about it, I was told that she was just really excited. Not thinking much of it, we ended up getting her and taking her home. Today, two days after I got her, I took her to the vet and found out she has kennel cough. This is highly contagious among dogs, and very dangerous especially with puppies. This means the other dog who was in the same kennel as her must have had it too. I have one other puppy living in the same house as us, who is a week younger than her. I hope she doesn’t catch this too. No telling what kind of diseases and viruses all of those poor pups might be carrying.. Petland provides a health sheet (which is the initial checkup status of the dog) and a feeding sheet. Her health sheet claimed she had perfect health. Her sheet for feeding wasn’t filled out all they way, so no indication of when the last time she ate was. This was at the east location, and I did call the manager, Dustin, and he claimed there’s nothing he could do for the other dogs in that place, or even the one who was in the same kennel as her. Not even let people know he may have a disease. Buying a dog from petland almost guarantees you’re buying a sick dog. Petland did cover the medication for the dog, but she was sick when we got her, they knew that, and they lied about it. On top of this all, she was dirty from her mess she made in the kennel on her back legs. When we gave her back to get ready to take her home with us, she wasn’t cleaned up and she had some sort of perfume on her to cover the smell. Poor pup.
