I was in Wichita on a work related trip, and while I've been in town a few times previously, I opted to stay in the city instead of near the airport this visit. The hotel is close to many of the local attractions, parking is easy and there are several coffee shops and other local restaurants close by. The rooms were comfortable, but you could hear the people above you if they were stomping around. As you can probably tell, that happened to me. The things the hotel can control were no doubt acceptable. Breakfast was decent and included a mix of hot and cold items. Most of the hot items were pre-packaged. Staff was great. Madi, who was working the morning of my departure was cordial and engaged with the customers. Overall, it's a good option, say 4.5 / 5.0, should you be in town.

Breakfast is good. The pool was wonderful until the children came and was diving and jumping splashing water everywhere. There is a no diving sign but the parents didn't care. Staff is great!

When we arrived at this hotel after driving for 10 hours, we attempted to check in. The hotel system showed we already checked in and had a digital key but we hadnt, wed just arrived. They gave us keys and when we went to our room there were already people in it. We mentioned this could happen as we thought it was weird it showed we were already checked in. She didnt call the room ahead of time to double check, she just gave us access to the room via 2 keys. The keys DID work and when we attempted to open the room people were in it. Thankfully for them they had the bar locked or we could have really invaded their privacy. We told the attendant who acknowledged the mistake but made no attempt to fix it, just took a note. She said the guest in our room was checked in under my name. She then checked me into the OTHER guest's name (the one in my room). We were worried about being charged for the damage or theft of others in our room under our name but nothing was done to eliminate the issue nor was anything offered to us. We went from what wouldve been the 4th floor with no one above us to the 2nd floor with a family of elephants above us. The stomping kept us awake. The microwave was broken, there were no towels in the pool area, and the pool room was suffocatingly hot. When we called to get sheets for the pullout bed the attendant told us she was the only one working and had to leave the desk to deliver the sheets. Breakfast was ok. Its worrisome to have reservations where apparently anyone can check into your room.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had issues with a party being held on the back patio. The music was so loud it was keeping our children awake. The front desk attendant was unable to shut down the party. The manager, upon checkout, said she would comp the room for the night and printed a receipt accordingly, however, she did not actually comp the room and is now refusing to reverse the charges. The breakfast is lovely and the location convenient, however, the manager will lie to your face and they will not do anything to correct any issues that might arise during your stay.

The rooms were clean and the staff was great. Unfortunately for us we stayed during a time when a lot of people decided to travel with their dogs. Don't get me wrong I love pets we have two dogs and a cat at home. With that being said it was just too loud and unlucky for us we were below a room with a dog and on a floor with a dog just a few doors down. Which meant a lot of barking and a lot of movement and noises coming from the room above. Other than that our stay was good. Next time though I'll be looking for a hotel that does not allow pets as we traveled with a one year old that needs her midday naps and that was a bit difficult to do at times with all the noise.

Nice Staff, clean hotel looks fairly new. Walking distance to some food and there is a Coffee Bistro across the parking lot. I would have giving this 5 stars however, there are the reason I feel this Home2 Suites fell short. 1. Breakfast is not all that, individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches and bagels, I wish they had a breakfast at least like the Hampton Inns. 2. Room floor and walls are made of paper it seems. You can hear everything your neighbor is saying when they talk or when the TV is on. And the floors...wow!!! If you have a floor above you, you will hear every step they take especial when they are one the tile or in the bathroom wearing boots or heels 3. DOORS!!! Doors slamming every time somebody comes out of their room... I wish there was a shock to slow the doors down and SOFT CLOSE them!!! I travel about 200 days a year and I am considerate enough to slowly close my door softly without SLAMMING it. Unfortunately, not everyone travels as much as I do and they just dont understand that people are SLEEPING at all hours of the day in hotel rooms. Five Stars for the Staff 3 Stars for the Breakfast and sound proof of the rooms

The woman who checked us in was delightful and polite. She had a bubbly personality and made conversation. Check in was simple and she directed us towards the hotel accommodations though we didn’t utilize them during the stay. However, our room had not been cleaned properly. It was clear the bedsheets had not been changed, they were wrinkled and had the previous guests hair still on them. The floor had not been swept or vacuumed, especially in the bathroom, hair and dust/dirt were visible around the vanity and toilet. Pieces of trash were by/behind the trash can. It was clear that the room was “cleaned” around items instead of moving. Toilet paper hadn’t been stocked. We called the front desk about the sheets and they were changed promptly. Water pressure was minimal for the shower, but shower was clean. We were disappointed by the cleanliness of our room and ask that staff be trained better for the sake of hygiene for them and the next guest(s) of that room.

My family and I stayed came for an overnight stay. After checking in and putting our bags in our room, we attempted to leave and got stuck in the elevator. We pressed the call button and when the elevator service answered, they hung up before my husband could even finish telling them we were stuck in one of their elevators. I called the lobby and was told our room would be comped and they would get someone from the elevator company to come let us off but they weren’t sure how long that would take. I was told if it was more than 5 minutes before they heard from the company, they would call 911. Eventually, my husband was able to get the door opened and we were able to climb out of the elevator (my daughter was with us and having a panic attack). We were moved from the 4th floor to the 1st floor bc we refused to get back in their elevators. As far as our actual room goes, it was clean and comfortable after a VERY stressful introduction to the hotel. However, breakfast options were scarce by 9:00, even though breakfast wasn’t over until 10:00.

We came back to this hotel after a great first experience. Rooms were very clean and well maintained, nice variety of complimentary breakfast items, and of course kids loved the pool.

The hotel was great. Very spacious rooms, full kitchen, walking distance to a few restaurants. However if you have anything valuable please make sure to bring it to your room. Our bikes were stolen while staying at this hotel. They were locked on our bike rack with an additional lock. We were parked right by the building near a light but found out the next day there are NO cameras on this property so be careful.

The rooms are spacious and great for an extended stay. The larger refrigerator was a nice plus. It was very convenient to downtown, near many restaurants, and very close to the Exploration Place. We enjoyed time in the pool with our kids. The breakfast had a nice variety of selections. The toppings for the waffles was wonderful and the kids loved it. The rotation of hot items was nice. The room was in great shape and clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

This is a great Home2Suites by Hilton! The staff is so well trained, friendly and respectful. You can tell that each of them not only care about their jobs but are genuine people. The rooms are everything you would expect from a home 2 suites- fridgerator, dishes and a compfortable couch to sit and relax on. The bed was also very comfortable and I slept well- There is a nice snack bar area as well as a indoor pool. A big shout out to this place for providing a great stay! Thank you!

Generally really liked the place. The bed is too close to the AC and the bathroom is very small. Having said that, the people were great, the bed comfy, the sitting area nice, and good and varied breakfast. Location very central and walkable to many things. Will do one of these again, but can you please move the bed away from the AC! Thanks!

13 families stayed here for a youth sporting event and the experience was great. The location is perfect, so close to many things to do and places to eat. The rooms are nice, the hotel was clean and the staff was awesome. Amy at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and she took the time every day to wish our girls good luck. If we ever return to Wichita, this is where we will stay.

We stayed here for a family gathering. The service was excellent. It was clean and well taken care of. The staff did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable and were so helpful especially Amy. The lobby was a great space to gather and enjoy each others company. Thank you!!

The room was ok. There was an extremely dusty exhaust fan, a piece of old candy and general crud under the sofa. I will say it's a decent sized room but they could've made it a little smaller and added that to the bathroom as it's very small. So small in fact that I banged my knee on the toilet getting out of the shower which sent the toilet seat flying. Also when someone in another room, not sure if it's just above and below or any room but when they take a shower, the pipes reverberate into the bathroom in my room. Most importantly though the beds are awful, 2 nights of "sleep" consisted of waking up several times because of how uncomfortable the bed is. I will say all of the staff I've encountered have been extremely friendly.

4/5. Close proximity to restaurants/coffee/etc Huge rooms with everything you need Be mindful that their room doors close extremely loudly, so anyone leaving 5-7 am will wake you up. My “connect room” also was not working. Friendly employees and decent breakfast

The front desk person was friendly and helpful. Our room was great - except it took forever to find the TV remote. I also would appreciate 3 big bath towels (my hair gets it’s own). Service is totally a 5 as they did put in the extra pillows we requested.

Where to start. Absolutely no water pressure in the sink, staff was really nice. Rooms were ok but house keeping needs to a better job cleaning, I don’t want to see long black hairs on my bathroom floor. I had a drunk neighbor come in around 10 very loud, I had to call the front desk to get him to shut up. Location was great but walls were paper thin, I heard everything in the hallways

The downtown location was great and near the river walk. Breakfast was a nice option and the variety was OK. There is no room service and by day 5 bugs were starting to appear. Rooms are spacious and it's pet friendly. Beds were comfy and the location is close to entertainment although you didn't many people in them.

Home 2 Suites is a beautiful hotel. Each room has a full kitchen and there are so many other amenities. A patio with fire pit for the cooler seasons and another in the back with grills. The lobby is like an upscale coffee shop and the breakfast looks great. I use the board room for meetings and since the parking is so great, my clients love it. This would be a perfect place to bring your family. It’s close to downtown, the stadium, and the walk along the river is lovely, especially at night.

Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was decent with a selection of hot entrees, but I had to buy my own bagels as they only had white bread for toast. Excessive and obnoxious scent of perfume in the lobby during the day.

I feel bad since the hotel staff are so nice, they truly are wonderful. but I can’t believe this place has any good reviews. Yes the building is “new” but does that make it good, no. I travel for work and see too many hotels, it’s safe to say this is the most awful bed I have ever experience. First clue should have been the indent on one side of the bed (keep in mind new hotel new bed right?). I even changed rooms hoping this would solve my issue, unfortunately this did not. The floor was honestly better but the fun just didn’t end there… if you can get past the metal springs you call a mattress, you will meet a new form of torture the likes of which you’ve never seen… the pillows. These “pillows” must be genetically designed, they compress smaller and smaller until nothing. New York style pizza is thicker than these “pillows” and would have been a better alternative. Even with 4 stacked they magically compress to zero. When I asked if they had any real pillows, they already knew the situation. That the pillows where not in-fact pillows and they had no real pillows (so a known issue hmmm). Now try getting comfy, close your eyes on your Hilton brand torture table and you will suddenly be awoke by your upstairs neighbor whispering or the sounds of footsteps pattering around you. When I say these floors are thin… you can feel them flex as you walk on them. I can even tell you what my upstairs and down stairs neighbors where watching too on their AirPods… So “New construction” very eco friendly much wow. Noise travels through this building like a f$&t in church. Then you get to the bathroom, it’s nice and cozy. Like a tiny Gemini space capsule, if only it could launch me out of here at 3 am. On a personal note, I quite smoking four years ago. This bed broke me. I found my self outside at 4 am, in the wonderful smoking area, praying for FEMA or the Red Cross to save me. They never showed. I could see in the eyes of the counter staff as they knew my pain.. they wish to help but can’t fix what their superiors have done. I can’t emphasize enough how nice the staff are here, they moved my room when I told them of the issue. Helped when ever needed, I truly feel for them. Upper upper Mgmt decided to go ultra cheep on this site and the staff will have to handle the fallout as time goes by. I really hate seeing good people set up for failure. Now how this place has 4.7/5 stars I am incredibly suspicious of. I suspect there is some bots in the equation and it fooled me. In summary, don’t give this place 4.7 stars just for being new and in a “great” location. None of that matters if you pull an all nighter before a 10 hour work day. So thanks Hilton? If you do have to stay here bring a pillow, air mattress and some ear plugs. But then you are just paying to go camping inside a building at that point. Oh and good breakfast, they actually got that part right.

Rooms, service and location are great. I will give a note that may or may not help. Back in the late 90s I had a short stay in the Portland area, didn't have much so I would "camp" in a local park on a concrete bench using some cardboard to help. As the right went that cardboard would get soggy and damp and would do nothing, actually making it worse. That was still less firm than the beds at this hotel. I'm pretty sure I cracked a rib turning over last night. Also to the person above our room, go see a doctor. You might have IBS. We could hear the toilet flush every hour, the wave of water running down the pipes was funny at first but sir or ma'am you need to seek medical attention. Or, and hear me out, don't go to Arby's so much, I do enjoy a good Beef N' Cheddar as well but just skip that 5 for 10 deal. Not worth it. Really nice hotel though.

This is a great hotel and location. The staff was very friendly and accomodating from start to finish. They had our group's key cards prepared when we walked in so we didn't have to stand in line. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. The welcome on the TV screen was appreciated by my group. The breakfast had something for everyone and even separated items into ziploc bags to keep things hygienic. 24-hour fitness center had treadmills, ellipticals, a bike, dumbbells and multi-use station with bench. Free coffee all day is always appreciated. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Very nice place. I've stayed in many locations in Wichita and this time we decided on the Delano district. It was the perfect location for walking to the river park, cow town, the expo center, and downtown Wichita. It's very central. We will definitely stay there again for the location. The hotel is very new and modern. Good coffee service available all day. The breakfast is adequate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was large and very complete.

My sister and I unfortunately had to be in Wichita because of a family member in the hospital. When trying to figure out where to stay I remembered I might have Hilton points. I called customer service who were wonderful and hooked us up with a room using my points. The hotel turned out to be very nice and the accomodations were wonderful. The hotel was conveniently located for our needs and all the staff were super friendly. We ended up having to add an extra night and the process was so seamless. We were so grateful that this was one less thing we had to worry about. I absolutely recommend this hotel
