Hotel Lodge Extended stay hotel

🫤 I don't recommend this place for safety reasons. One truck was stolen from this hotel on 5/21/2023 and someone broke out the back glass of my vehicle to try and steal it but we think someone walked out on them because they left their screwdriver and flashlight on my floor board. Been staying at this... People often mention hotel, room, floor, clean, rooms, breakfast, price, nice, pool, bathroom,

I don't recommend this place for safety reasons. One truck was stolen from this hotel on 5/21/2023 and someone broke out the back glass of my vehicle to try and steal it but we think someone walked out on them because they left their screwdriver and flashlight on my floor board. Been staying at this hotel every few weeks for almost a year, and now I'll be going somewhere else. The hotel itself is nice upfront but the rooms are usually dirty and the walls are paper thin. The staff was always nice and helpful. The signs say "Lock It, Remove It, or Lose It." I locked it, had nothing of value in there, and they still tried stealing my whole vehicle. Please be cautious if you are planning to stay here, park up front, check on your vehicle throughout the night, and expect the worse to happen.

Bugs and hair clumps in the pool. The reason I chose this hotel was the pool .The price was double the normal advertised price. The room didn’t look clean but when I cleaned it nothing came off except the stickers on the floor. When people talked in the hallway it echoed in the room. Of which whoever decided to lower the hall ceiling to 6’6” it’s like walking down a hall to a dungeon. The best part was the employees they were very nice.

Don’t recommend, a number of hotels close by that are nicer. 1. There is no kitchen as noted on their website. An above size frige, a microwave, and coffee maker is not a kitchen. 2. Cable TV did not work reliably, mostly tiled, or had no connectivity at all. 3. Not very clean. I am a guy, and I don’t notice these things, but when I step in the shower after walking around the room barefoot and I see a steam of black from my feet, the floor is dirty. In the “kitchen” when they mounted the shelves, the sawdust from hanging the shelves was still on the shelves… kind of shocking.

Bed in 207 was super comfortable slept like a baby. Hotel itself needs a little TLC but the room was nice. Bathroom leaves something to be desired but for the price I was pleased and will most likely come back when I'm in the area. Breakfast was honey buns, tiny muffins , yogurt and coffee. Nicely located with stores near by.

It's hard to say how much the updates have improved this hotel!! Stylish, spacious and exactly as advertised. Also, Aaron at the front desk is AMAZING and never even breaks a sweat while he offers top notch service. Glad we came here for my daughter's 13th bday pool party and staycation!

Staff were very friendly. The room itself was clean but didn't care for the hard floor. The bed was VERY comfortable! The bathroom was tiny, including the shower. The hotel door hits the vanity when it opens. We did not visit the pool or eat breakfast there, but the Easy Egg across the street is delicious!! Overall it was a decent place but didn't seem worth the price.

I stay here once a week and book my employees here when they work in town. The hotel has been renovated and every room I've stayed in has been nice. Best hotel for the money in town and I've stayed at a lot of them in Wichita.

Rooms were clean. Quiet location. Nice apartment size refrigerator. Either way I was impressed with the staff. Breakfast was a full buffet. We left for an appt and came back could see a full crew of cleaning staff tidying up the lobby. It is a renovated older hotel and they have done a nice job bringing new life to this location. Only issue I had was the floor it felt a little sticky, I used my shoes through the stay. This was very minor.

I was stuck in Witchita and this was the only room available. The price was extremely high due to Memorial Day weekend. The floor is my beef. I couldn't walk on it without socks. It literally left my feet black it was so dirty. It is also not sound proof.

Room was not clean, hotel looks rundown!! drains drain slowly, was supposed to have breakfast, but no breakfast, bait and switch with that amenity!! Would have never stayed here had I know there was no breakfast. Chose this place because they had breakfast ! .

There was a bunch of junkies roaming around the area as we were arriving. The pictures made the hotel seem very promising but upon arrival to our rooms the floors were extremely dirty. I was running not even 5 minutes late to checkout and we had someone knock on our door to leave already.

Key notes: Very comfortable beds, decent breakfast, good location with access to shopping and restaurants, clean bed and rooms for the most part, newly renovated with vinyl floors and kitchenettes with full size fridges with bar... For what you get the price was about spot on. Around $115 online and once booked with taxes runs up to $150ish. Don't be fooled, try to book it with the hotel rather than some third party company online because it's more expensive (or so we were told by the front desk). We did not feel like paying the regular $200ish + for a nice hotel since we were only needing it to sleep in at night. I do want to point out that it was renovated in 2016 so the lobby looks nicer with aviation themed wall art and cool colors. The chairs in breakfast area are comfortable and it's inviting. The breakfast was actually decent for the price. For the hot buffet they had scrambled eggs, sausage links, hashbrowns, and make your own mini waffles (which were actually light, fluffy, and good). They also had yogurt, milk, cereal, toast, bagels, mini muffins which were moist, apples, fruit juices, coffee and tea. The rooms have a small coffee maker but no hot tea. The rooms were updated with a kitchenette which includes a bar with two counter stool chairs and a full size fridge/freezer and microwave. Note that there is no regular chair in the room to lounge in! There is also a full sized kitchen sink in the corner. The beds were so surprisingly comfortable and clean. The floor is all vinyl plank wood looking. The floor we were on was surprisingly quiet. Every once in awhile you could hear the planes from the airport yet the A/C was so constant that I couldn't notice them once asleep. The a/c ran a constant normal noise all night because it never got THAT cold in our room. We put it down to 67 degrees but it never quite made it there even though the thermostat said otherwise. Even though the rooms are updated, the a/c and vents are still outdated and old. It was cold enough but it never got really cold like it should have. The vent in the bathroom didn't do anything because there was not even a switch to power it on so BEWARE if you stay with a party of people and the small bathroom gets smelly. It is okay for one or two people, however, the bathroom is very small, even though it's updated. There is not a lot of room to get around in so I would have selected the accessible room and maybe gotten a larger bathroom. The biggest complaint about my room on the third floor was that the toilet area smelled like urine. You could actually smell it pretty good especially if you put your nose by the toilet. I have no idea how it could smell that bad with vinyl flooring (if they clean it like they should) but I placed towels all over the floor just in case) and after wiping around it, I noticed behind the toilet there was still hair and dirt like the floor had not been cleaned and the smell never got better. So yeah... The CONS: no bathroom vents, a/c doesn't get super cold, bathroom floor smelled like urine and wasn't properly cleaned, no chair to lounge in only bar stools.

The internet isn't good enough to work with. The rooms are nice and clean. It's a good hotel for the price in the area. Also breakfast is always ready very cool in this day and age
