I think that this spot is very good. The homemade pop tarts are a hot with the kids. The food is very fresh. I wish my omelette was cooked a bit longer as it was still a little to wet on the interior for my liking. The avocado was also not quite ripe. Besides that the staff was nice and the atmosphere was welcoming.

This place is fantastic and definitely going to be one I visit regularly. The service is really good. For example, the hostess was so warm and welcoming. She was also super helpful in getting us checked in. We sat at the bar since the wait was pretty long, but it ended up being a really great experience. I love the brightly lit atmosphere. It feels very comfortable and happy. There’s patio seating and a bar which are easier to get a seat at if you forget to check in prior to arriving and don’t want to wait a long time to get seated. The food was so delicious. I just can’t recommend this place enough. My husband and I recently moved to the area from Oklahoma City. HomeGrown reminds me of my favorite breakfast spot in OKC called Hatch Early Morning Food. I’m so happy to find a similar spot.

Avocado toast was excellent with great flavor. The fruit that comes with the dish has a zesty lemon sauce on it that is amazing. The coffee cake was awesome and worth ordering and taking with you if you can't eat one while there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Eric, my waiter, was exceptional and very helpful with recommendations. Will come back.

Each HomeGrown location is fantastic. Their seasonal dishes are always a fun and great breakfast to enjoy!

Absolutely amazing service, food, and quality of time spent preparing food! I modified my Sammy and they made it perfectly delicious! Great portions and enough to take some home and enjoy later! We tried the fresh juices - Jolly Green and Sunrise, both prepared quickly and delivered before we ordered our food! Amazing and kind staff!

Nice, clean atmosphere. Friendly staff. Was on a roadtrip and stopped in because the have gluten-free options available. The cinnamon French toast was some of the best I've had. Definitely recommend.

HomeGrown is a fantastic place for Breakfast Brunch and Lunch.. their bloody Mary’s are a favorite for me, and the food was very delicious. The staff was very friendly and they created a very clean environment and a peaceful atmosphere. Christina our waitress was particularly attentive and made sure we were taken care of, she was fluent in both English and Spanish and made for a fun conversation. I highly recommend a visit here, and will definitely be back again.

Amazing brunch as usual! We shared a slice of coffee cake and a cinnamon pop tart as our appetizer with no regrets! Everything was stunning! The chewy bread they use for the avocado toast is incredible. Our server Kira did such a wonderful job! She is friendly and positive and provided some of the best service we’ve ever had.

I could not say better things about this place! I’m still sitting in the restaurant and had to write a review immediately just because of our waiter! This was our first time here and Corey, our waiter, is to die for. Absolutely the sweetest waiter we’ve had in quite a while. Took such good care of my husband and I, and had such a calm vibe about him. Loved his vibe and the overall ambiance of this place! Not to mention, the food was to die for too. I hope Corey stays for a while, because I’m definitely coming back to sit with his section!

Great food and great service. We had a small wait-which we planned on, but about 5mins later, we were able to sit. Food was amazing-lemon french toast, biscuits and gravy, and the cinnamon brown sugar poptart and we were happy with everything we got. Definitely a place to come back to.

It was a very nice vibe in the restaurant & pretty clean. I had the pumpkin french toast which was almost just like a loaf of pumpkin bread with a super sweet syrup. The Mimosa rising was nice and didn’t taste as strong as I thought it might. It did have grenadine (I thought it was gonna be literally just OJ,Prosecco, and tequila) My boyfriend got the biscuit and gravy he just wish he had meat in the gravy! Potatoes were delicious! It’s a nice spot!

I visited my sister in Wichita and we ate here for brunch. This place is great. It was busy but they got us in quickly to sit on the patio. The service was really good. The food and mimosas were so delicious. I’ve never had French toast that tasted so good. I loved all the kindness quotes around the restaurant. I can’t wait to visit again.

Service staff was kind and courteous. Our waitress, Morgan was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Love the fact that the staff was a variety of people from differing backgrounds. I ordered sunny side up eggs, bacon, and french toast styled croissants with coffee. Utensils and cookware were clean and not shaped awkwardly. Price was reasonably for the restaurant type and ingredients. Would recommend and dine here again.

This was a perfect place to go for brunch and to have a relaxing afternoon. After having a stressful day, we were happy that our server made our brunch experience more than delightful. The food was egg-cellent ☺️ Compliments to the chef 🤌 you gotta try the homemade pop tarts no matter what!!

I still don't think this place is worth all the hype... but I got a decent Cuban sandwich with a side salad ( I wish there was a different dressing available other than ranch), It was ok but had too much dill, and bigger water glasses WITH ICE would be great. These little glasses just don't cut it for an adult,,

I would love to give 5 stars except it is so loud in there. A little acoustic absorption goes a long ways. Food was great! Waitress was great! Just we could barely hear each other talk. There were only 6 of us. I had the Limon cello French toast and a Honey Bee espresso drink. All very good. Oh! And a Tart! Yum!

Based on local recommendation we tried Homegrown and were not disappointed. Sitting at the coffee bar because there was a short wait for a table, Cory provided first- rate service. Food was delicious. Tea was wonderful and elegantly served. We learned that many of their items are locally sourced. Definitely recommended!!

Excellent coffee, tea, and espresso drink shop with flavored lemonades, bottled sodas, and wine for the grown ups. Tasty fresh baked cookies, small pies, little quiches, etc.. high quality ingredients. Alternative milks, vegan and vegetarian friendly options. Indoor dining with some outdoor under the covered walkway. Free parking lot. Restroom. Accessible.

HomeGrown. A Daytime Eatery. By the name, one might expect a bit of a twist on the typical breakfast spot in Wichita, KS. Kindness apparently is a theme, as it is conspicuously written on the wall and subtlely infused into the menu. The menu also communicates some less than ordinary breakfast selections; Avocado Toast, Granola with Greek Yogurt, Rosemary Potatoes, Baked Oatmeal, Curried Brussel Sprouts, Sweet Potato Pancakes, and omelettes featuring Sauteed Spinach, Cage-Free Eggs, Marinated Chicken Breast, Feta Cheese, etc. For those with a less 'adventuresome' breakfast palette, there are Biscuits and Gravy, Omelettes (without the West Coast-themed ingredients), etc. Homegrown's ambience is a little hospital-like with all the white paint and white wall tiles. Not warm, in my humble opinion. The acoustics, as evidenced in many other reviews, emulates an echo chamber. Our server, unfortunately, was friendly and polite, but seriously inattentive (sorry, but true). As for the food, a Veggie Lover Omelette - it was quite good; properly prepared, tasty and well-portioned, but not remarkable. Coffee was served in a good-sized carafe, which I like (you don't have to flag down a server to refill your cup), but the coffee itself was quite ordinary, generously speaking. 'Doesn't live up to the hype' comes to mind, when describing up my visit - more like 'just ok'.

Update 11/21 food was tasty, portions are still much smaller than they used to me. The waiter we had was great! Updated 7/23 food is not as good. Portions smaller and less tasty. Maybe new cooks???!! Even with waitlist waits are too long. With ridiculous waits anfter checking in. Over time hostess staff less friendly. Rating for me fell from 5 to a 3.
