My favorite breakfast/brunch restaurant in town. I’m not a pancake lover, but I love homegrown buttermilk pancakes!! My servers are always great and the food taste delicious. Yes, there is usually a wait but it’s definitely worth it. So just download YELP on your phone and add yourself to the wait list if you don’t want to wait around. The restaurant is always clean, great atmosphere and all the workers are always friendly. Definitely recommend and you need to try it if you haven’t.

Stopped in after reading google reviews. The atmosphere is great. They were on a wait and the noise was not bad. The fresh OJ was great. I ordered the Salsa Verde Pork & Egg and it was delightful. It was so good! The kids had the Funfetti pancakes and were impressed. I ate half of one and it took me back to my childhood. It was just like a cupcake ❤️. The device was outstanding.

Fantastic place for breakfast. I come here try my best to eat healthy and usually end up eating too much anyway. The place is kept clean and the staff are very friendly. The food is always amazing and fresh. The only place I go to for freshly squeezed orange juice. Superb!

A fantastic first visit. We had a reserved group of 12, and the table was ready to go when we walked in. We got there early before it became super busy. The service was very friendly and attentive, my Gimme the Meats omelet and cheesy grits were amazing, and the decor is clean and modern. Coffee was perfectly fresh. You can tell they really care about what they prepare. Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

Ridiculously good. Everything from the homemade pop tarts to the homemade coffee cake to the hand-made tables was just incredible. And the online waitlist made it a perfect way to plan the morning, even with it being crazy busy. We’ll be back!

WELL DONE Open space, quick service, good menu, and good atmosphere. Food was also good. We did not like the coffee that much but it’s the usual. I would like to see cool and natural places like this take or put a little more effort in getting fresh coffee beans, grind what the use in the day and serve that fresh. That will be a plus - but what they serve now is like I said, the usual and still works well with the rest. Also being able to walk outside and enjoy the park after a meal is so great! Recommended 100% 👌🏻

Mid morning during the week, this is a great place for a breakfast meeting. Service was fast and efficient. It wasn't too busy, we could hear each other. And the cheesy grits, I would say, are the best this side of the Mississippi!

Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, just a little loud. Staff was quick, friendly and helpful. Stopped in for brunch, Johnny Cakes were good (if you take bites with the strawberries it tastes like strawberry shortcake). My gf had the yogurt which was light and delicious. Would eat here again and recommend to others.

Great breakfast & brunch place. We stopped in on our way out of Wichita. Short wait for a Sunday morning. The staff was friendly and the food was great. The bread they used for the avocado toast was good. Coffee caramel cake was divine.

Was driving up from Dallas to Nebraska so we stopped in for breakfast after seeing the homemade poptarts. Neat little spot in downtown Wichita, but we had a little trouble finding parking. That probably due us not knowing the area and being tired from a 4am start to our drive. I got the Country Benny, which is biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty and egg (your choice) under the gravy. Biscuits were fresh and fluffy even under the gravy. Coffee was good, the even leave pot at the table so no waiting for a refill. It was super busy but we still were seated immediately.

We dined here on the 28th of July 2023. The place is nice but a bit loud. It’s very popular it seems with all those customers. They have outdoor seating, but we got a table inside due to the place being busy. The service is tentative and professional. We ordered the Florentine and Lemon Curd Pancakes. Very delicious. It would have been nice with just a bit more sauce on the Florentine Egg Benedict. But it was still very good. Definitely a place to visit.

Jose is a excellent server. Our food arrived at our table so quickly. I had the avocado turkey sandwich; the flavors danced on my tastebud. Omg the homemade pop tarts greeted us at the table, so yummy! The salads looked so good! There is outside dining. Loved the hive looking lighting fixtures on the ceiling. The wood tables are hand made in Wichita. Loved bee hive divider wall.

I recently visited this place in Wichita as recommended by my local colleague and had an amazing experience. The staff here is incredibly friendly and served me promptly. The variety of options for breakfast is impressive, but I must say, their classic buttermilk pancakes are a delightful way to kick start your day. Moreover, I highly recommend trying their signature honey coffee; it's a real treat! I can't wait to come back here if I'm in Wichita again.

Their French toast was absolutely delicious!!! Both cinnamon swirl and croissants. The strawberry lemonade mimosa and iced caramel latte are top tier. I visited from Massachusetts, and I must say I have yet to find a breakfast/brunch spot as good as HomeGrown. This will be a MUST VISIT every time I’m down in Kansas!

I enjoy breakfast. Its comforting and good, but nothing I usually consider to be amazing...HomeGrown has shattered this. We had the sweet potato pancakes and it was one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten. The pecans...the cream cheese...the caramel... So amazing. Can't wait to go back and try the Pop Tarts :)

This was an amazing place to have breakfast. There are so many great options and the food is good. Would definitely return if ever in Wichita.

I love coming here and trying the mimosas. I usually get a “gimme the meats” omelette. I always have great waitresses. They are usually very busy so it is best to call ahead and put your name on the list. I do wish they had a larger selection for mimosas, such as bottomless mimosas and more flavor options. Staff are friendly and bathrooms are clean.

Delicious! I got strawberry lemonade, lemon French toast, with a lemon pop tart. Feeling lemons today evidently. Strawberry lemonade was AMAZING! Best I’ve had. They gave me one to go as well and I was thrilled! Lemon French toast was extremely good! The lemon sauce had a lot of lemon taste, which I don’t usually love, but you mix that with the vanilla bean sauce and it is perfect! The eggs on the side were cooked a perfect medium and the bacon was not great and too crispy. I would say do NOT get the bacon make that yourself at home. Haven’t tried the other meats, but want to. The lemon pop tart was so unique. I would say it was slightly too much pop tart for me, but would be great to share with another. It was yummy, but not anywhere near as good as the French toast. I think the cinnamon pop tart would have been better personally, but who knows. Atmosphere and staff was perfect for a nice brunch restaurant! Great Job!! Except for the bacon :)

This place is woth a stop! We didn't have a reservation and went for brunch on Saturday. We did have to wait for about 45 but we expected the wait. This place has excellent service and a great atmosphere. The food was top-notch. Absolutely love that everything is fresh and local. The cold pressed juice was also amazing.
