Love this place! Wichita’s performing arts and symphony are spectacular. I know there’s a lot of talk around this place, but I love it. It’s such a unique venue that has history and character. When I fly over the city, it the building that makes me recognize I’m home. I’ve lived in cities all over this country with building that outdate Century II by more than a century. I get the struggle with modernization, but that’s exactly the point of innovation, to overcome obstacles. Who knows what challenges the future will bring. When that time comes, are we going to tear other buildings down. The controversy over this is really shocking to me, because I like to think of my home city as forward thinking and innovative. Getting help from those who’ve overcame similar challenges isn’t a bad thing. It’s a smart thing. Anyways, go watch a show, attend an event or expo and support this place!

Just went down a saw the ballet Wichita nutcracker. It was fantastic. Century two was in very good condition, the seating was comfortable, the sound,(acoustics) were very good. Temperature was good too. Good show, go see it…two performances Saturday and Sunday remaining.

Wow, the car show was FANTASTIC. We met Mike Buchanan with the only Chevy Vega there. He let my 6 year old son Freddy sit in the car and work all the levers and switches. The best car show set up ever. The building access is phenomenal and perfect venue for shows. Definitely love the building.

Great place to see a performance or attend a conference. There are people wanting to tear it down and build a new one but that would be tragic as it is an integral part of the city's history and culture. It's a historical building and a central part of the annual River Festival.

For how old the building is, it’s kept up as good as possible. Do I think Wichita deserves a new performing arts center? Yes. But this one is still working great for the customers at least. Plenty of parking in the area. There is a parking lot across the street. Save some time and download the app called park mobile (little green symbol on app). Sign up and enter your car and card number in advance to save some time. Or you can just take a picture of the QR code posted and you fill out all the info. Inside was fine and easy to get around. Small concession stands. But the theater itself had plenty of room. The seats were surprisingly not small. Which I enjoyed. The theater has two levels. We sat in row EE, and that’s where these pictures come from for reference. Sound quality was good and stage was a decent size compared to other theaters. Delano district is right across the River. Good place to grab some food/drinks before or after shows. Monarch is a place I recommend. Overall I’d definitely come back to watch another show!

Good location. Parking is okay but expect a little walk to get inside. Clean building.

Judy in the ticket booth was incredibly helpful and kind! This was my first time there our show isn’t for a few months but I’m already really impressed with the staff. Thank you Judy!

Went to the Lego convention. Parking is easy to pay and the facilities are worn but work.

It is an older building however it has a more personal feel to it and they do great things there from broadway plays, small events, arts and craft fairs, bridal shows, and much much more. Just use the website and look at upcoming events and you will find something for the entire family!

Riverfest 2023. Had the best time. Things were organized differently, with the schedule online and no maps to point you in the right direction. But I got where I wanted to go and it was a lot of fun. You know parking is a mess but I had something neat happen each day on my trek in, people on the side walk stopped me to ask where I was going (because of all my supplies!) and they were from out of town. Many came on with me when I told them all the things they could do at Riverfest. I like that the surrounding businesses and churches add to the fun. I like meeting people at the picnic tables while eating. I like that we have a night to enjoy each culture. I came everyday!

I brought my kids here for the Blippi world tour. The acoustics were amazing, they were very neurodivergent friendly during the show, and it was a wonderful performance. The only downside was the dust. My allergies didn’t agree with it at all.

Beautiful and clean facilities. I had an easy time navigating where I needed to go and find my seat. All in all a good experience. I came to see the Nutcracker. The only complaint is how far the parking area is from the building and how small it is.

The show was great. We went to see the Drowsy Chaperone. However, my husband’s seat broke and he crashed to the floor. I don’t know what we would have done if the seat next to me want vacant. I told a member of the staff who apologized. That was it. However, it was fun watching the show. I saw it several years ago. Each time is a different experience.

Nice facility that us in a great location. We have been season ticket holders for the summer shows for several years. Enjoy the new concession management. Better selections and allowed to take items into the performance area. As always, the summer shows are awesome. We try to make a weekend of it as we live three hours away.

The comic cons they have here are awesome! I have seen Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers), Felix Silla (Twiggy), and Lou Ferrigno (Hulk) It's great to see people come to these events that are all dressed up to impress!

👍👍 All of the years that the Wichita community Theater has been open and this was our first visit, we have missed out on so much. We saw The Diary of Anne Frank this evening and it was absolutely amazing. The entire team did an outstanding performance. We will stay tuned for the next performance and p...
