👍👍 This place surprised me. Went on a fishing date with my Honey and it was wonderful. Quiet, clean, beautiful, his fishing spot, nature trails, well kept and mowed paths, pretty big and lots of trees for shade. I highly recommend. Pets asked to stay on paths. No trash cans. Will need to dispo... People often mention fishing, nice,

This place surprised me. Went on a fishing date with my Honey and it was wonderful. Quiet, clean, beautiful, his fishing spot, nature trails, well kept and mowed paths, pretty big and lots of trees for shade. I highly recommend. Pets asked to stay on paths. No trash cans. Beautiful pond/lake. Would be better is they paved the path or kept the grass on the path shorter. I will have to come back and check out the fishing. Trail was nice though.

This is one of the best places to enjoy nature, take a walk or go fishing. You’d be surprised how remote it looks within the park although this is located in one of the busiest neighborhoods in the city. Parking is available by Woodlawn street.

Great place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Didn't see much wildlife but it was nice to be outside.

Fun and quick fishing hole with nice banks which make for great sittin’ spots. Very well maintained with nicely mowed trails leading to the water. Clean as a whistle with hardly any trash laying around...I haven’t caught a fish yet, but that’s not the park’s fault—-it’s obviously my fishing pole...or my DMF bait (that’s really the name of the company that makes the worms I use)...Post your pictures so everyone knows when the fish are biting...

It’s a good place to fish and go run or Ruck around it, just would appreciate it if they could do more trimming of the trees and grass for the people who use it.

Nice and quiet for walking but no shaded areas for comfortable fishing.

A nice place to go for a walk. The exhibits in the building are free and a great place to take young kids.

Beautiful place to walk. Trails are actual trails and not pavement or gravel. A little more out in the open than I had anticipated but still very nice. Not crowded and was a nice little walk.

Probably one of the better lakes in the city mainly because of the trash there's hardly no trash there's some one of the few that isn't full of litter

👍👍 Hidden gem! Hardly anyone here even on days over 100° very clean, picnic tables with shade covers, clean restrooms, in a fenced area so you don't have to worry about the kids wondering off. Absolutely a delightful place to hang out and play with the kids!
