Staff removed a black veteran from the bar for seemingly no reason. Will not visit again and do not recommend. Edited to add: Owner replied the patron "proceeded to knock the chair over in protest" when in actuality, he got off the chair, continuing to sing his karaoke song, and motioned to move the chair to the side and behind him. The legs got caught on the carpeted bar floor (ew) and the chair fell down. The bartender then came back from escorting him out and told other bar patrons he was kicked out for "throwing a chair at her". Several minutes after this happened, a fellow member of the party politely asked what happened, the bartender refused to answer him and then also made him leave the bar, stating that he was argumentative and rude and she would not serve him because of his "behavior".

One of the bartenders speaks super loud where the whole bar can hear him. Very rude ruined the whole atmosphere.

The Stop is a fantastic hang out spot with such a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Everyone who works there is super awesome and personable. Love meeting friends here.

Friend staff, and good drinks. Music good and not to loud. Quaint little place away from the downtown area.

Had the DJ come out and berate me because his music sucked, the music we asked for was not available yet local music was. Took back the welcome feeling cause tour DJ chased me out. WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO NON LOCALS..

The Stop is fantastic. Karaoke every night and everyone is so friendly. On Fridays they have different food people come by sometimes!

I was only in town for the night. Searched Google for Karaoke near me and decided to give this spot a try. Nice employees and the KJ was awesome! Next time you're in town, check out The Stop in Wichita.

The staff was nice but the bar is pretty small. You have to go outside with the smokers to sit down if you aren't there early in the night so if you don't like to be on the smoking patio, go early or somewhere else. Fun atmosphere though!

The barkeeps were great, the Karaoke guy was fun, there were a lot of really good singers there!! We did a Party Bus for my nieces bachelorette party and that was one of the stops we made. We picked up two more gals who finished partying with us!! It's a small bar with Karaoke and great folks!!!!! Oh, the burgers on the patio were a real treat!!!!

I can say that this local spot is probably one of the more safer bars to go to, on top of the great service they provide at the bar.

I've had several friends recommend this establishment for it's great atmosphere, friendly patrons and karaoke. I can't wait to experience it for myself next month.

I have always liked going here for a quick beer. There's always something nice to look at and the people are friendly, so it's easy to pick up a conversation.

This one is easy! Do you enjoy live music? And by live music I mean karaoke! Do you enjoy fun games? And by fun games I mean answering trivia while smoking out back for free food! Do you like the selection of monster energy drinks that a truck stop cooler has except in a monster fridge? Then this is your spot! Love our yearly visit to this place and seeing the familiar faces! The Stop is THE BEST bar in Wichita. Just off the main streets of downtown Wichita but in a safe and easy place to get to, The Stop offers great service, great prices and always a fun time for friends of all ages, 21 & older! I Love This Bar!

I have been to this bar before, I wish I went more often because they deserve the business. Karaoke is going every time I have been in and the staff is always awesome. However, what put them over the top for me was my birthday last night. I was not drinking, but they still made me and the girls I was with (who were drinking) feel special. They have non alcoholic options and the bartender took his time to make me a concoction without booze in it. Seriously, such a considerate staff and a fun loving atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this bar for a good time!

Wow! I've been coming out to this bar regularly over the past year and I can easily say it's my favorite in Wichita. With a fun, upbeat atmosphere and friendly, hardworking staff there's no bar I'd rather give my money too. Karaoke, affordable drinks, friendly patrons, and a comfortable patio make this bar shine every time. It can get crowded, but I think that's just because it's such a great place to be!
