I was NOT expecting this place to be a venue but we pulled up and sure enough a live band was playing. How cool is that! The bar tender took her time to chat with me, very friendly, very cool place. It felt like home to an alt chick with tattoos and colored hair.

Great place to discover new and upcoming bands, don't forget to bring earplugs!!! You can also get them at from the bartender if they don't run out.

Great place for us musicians to come play! I've played here several times over the years in different bands and been here to see quite a few also. The crowd is always fun and the staff is friendly.

They have the best live bands and you can talk to them like family I love going when I want to get away from home I wish they had a pool table 😁 Lol lol 😺🤣 and they don't have food

Kirby's is ALWAYS a trip. It's an important venue for live music and the singer/songwriter types. I used to play there often 40 years ago in two Bluegrass bands. Now that I've moved back to Wichita, I find myself there a few times a month. Lots of fun.

GREAT PLACE TO GO TO CATCH LIVE MUSIC ALL MOST EVERY NIGHT. PLACE AS A LONG HISTORY OF NO COVER CHANGE EVER!!!!!!! PIZZA AND SNACK FOOD. MUST BE 21 TO ENTER. THEY HAVE RECENTLY OPEN UP ONE OF THE MOST UP TO DATE PINBALL ROOMS WITH "FLIPSIDE"HAPPINESS AND LAUGHS TO HAVE FOR THE NEXT 50 PLUS YEAR'S .. TIP THE BANDS AND BARTENDERS. WITHOUT THEM WICHITA WOULD BE A BORING PLACE .

That was my first time there and it was epic!! It was a bunch of metal bands playing but the whole vibe was hella Kool. Everybody I spoke w was so kind and smiling. I totally recommend visiting Kirby's it's a blast.

So much history in this room...all the bands...all the good times...I had to stop by when I was in town...

This place is a national treasure and still one of the top dive bars in the country. There just aren't too many places that feature live music 20+ nights a month. While it still has its hole-in-the-wall, dive bar charm, it has been improved with a better beer selection, LMNO pizza and a much cleaner vibe inside and out than it had in days gone by. Don't worry, though: You still get to see stars if you turn the light off in the bathroom.
