The waitress behind the bar, Danielle, is extremely unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome and profiled .

My fiancé and I stopped here to eat one afternoon. We looked around a chose table to sit at. The waitress accosted us from across the restaurant saying she had blocked it off for a reason. We looked around and could not find any indication the area was marked off. We offered to move and the waitress just rudely said “it’s whatever” If she had calmly asked us to move, we absolutely would’ve done so. Instead she embarrassed by shouting from across the restaurant. We left without ordering and we won’t be back.

We are always on the look out for a good brunch. This place turned out to be one. Fresh fruit, biscuit and gravy, breakfast casseroles, breakfast potatoes, French toast, sausage links, bacon, 2 cakes, 4 different cookies, tea, coffee, soda, all included. $5 mimosas, and bloody Mary's. Comfortable and easy going. Plenty of parking around the building. Oh and you can order of the menu if you prefer.

A group of us stopped by after seeing a comedy show on Thursday. The young female bartender was absolutely rude and gave us the impression we were an inconvenience to serve. She literally left us standing there to go hug another customer behind us.

It was me and my friends first time visiting rain and we were really excited to get drinks but we sat down as it said to seat yourself and had yet to be greeted so decided to check out the patio making the waitress upset enough to yell at us across the room asking if we were leaving or needed to ordered, we said we were wanting drinks and she never ended up coming over so we left to go somewhere else. Unfortunately don’t think we’ll be coming back as the experience was very uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome

We enjoyed this place. We went on Taco Tuesday. A great deal on well prepared food stuffs. They have a full range of specialty cocktails. My wife had a Lemon Drop. She was very happy with her choice; so much so she had another. Danielle, our bartender and server spoiled us. Rain is located in downtown Wichita but has a warm, neighborhood feel. Plenty of parking is available.

UPDATE: they got rid of the problem employee!! Yay! Much better!! Love Andrew!! Nope, never again. Takes table reservations and then kicks you out. My money spends better elsewhere.

By far one of my favorite places to go on Thursday’s and Sunday’s. Danielle, Andrew and Mollie always make me feel welcomed anytime I walk into the bar. Some of the best bartenders in Wichita if you ask me. No nonsense and they make damn good drinks. Just how I like my bartenders!

I always have a great time when I'm there. Karaoke nights on Thursday are full of some of the best singers in the city. I would rate 5-stars but I've noticed the past couple of times I've been in I've been overcharged. Once is a mistake, but this seems to be a trend. Highly recommend grabbing a copy of your reciept just in case!

All you can eat taco Tuesdays are great. The server is very kind, and the tacos are super tasty.

Attended a concert downtown tonight. Left the concert just before ten. Went to another restaurant down the street from the concert venue and discovered their kitchen closed at ten. Called Rain and asked when their kitchen closed; a very pleasant person on the phone said eleven. My partner and I arrived at rain about 10:15. We went to the bar and asked for menus. We were told the kitchen would close in 20 minutes and if we took a seat, someone would take our order shortly. We waited 15 minutes. No one came to take our order - drink or food. My partner said the people behind the bar made eye contact with them more than once. This is not the venue I remember pre-2020, when I knew the kitchen had some of the greatest tacos in town and was an excellent brunch spot. I’m not sure why we weren’t welcome this time, but we won’t be back.

Had a fanatic time for our 10 year reunion. Very cute place. Staff was extremely freindly. They created a speical drink for us and it was delicious.

Rain Cafe is a great place to eat, drink and hang out, sit outside on the deck. Fried tacos are really good. Chicken fried chicken is really good too.

Love coming to brunch here on Sundays!! We bring our kids too and everyone has a great time! Lots of food on the buffet too!

So I went to Rain Lounge for the 1st time today and let me tell you...IT WAS FANTASTIC. First of all, Lorelei (sorry if I misspelled) was terrific and gave me all the details about their Thursday Karaoke and Sunday Brunch. Cannot wait until Sunday! I ordered the chicken skewers with rice and it was out of this world. Cannot wait to go back and try the Flan.

This place is super clique-y. The “regular” attendees target and bully people they don’t know. If you’re gay and looking to fit in to the community in Wichita, I highly advise you against doing it here.

This is 5 stars all around. I think about the chicken fried chicken constantly and my boyfriend thinks the wings are the best in town! The amazing energy and top tier customer service are a triple whammy 💛 Plenty of inside seating and patio is nice! Thursday karaoke gets packed but loads of fun! Lorily is such an amazing and kind waitress. The food was good and her service was awesome . Delightful face to see after a long day of driving. Nice relaxing ambience and nice music. Got the Assad fries and they were tasty. Def my spot to come to when in Wichita. Right down the greyhound station.

Amazing cocktails, great service, and the best Buffalo chicken wrap I’ve ever had (finished half before I thought to take a picture). Highly recommend!

We did not have a great experience for our Sunday brunch. The staff tried hard to keep up with all patrons, but they were spread thin. The food was ok, but it was hard to work up an appetite. I had to dig through the stack of plates trying to find a clean one. Many still had dried food crusted to them. There was a hair in the sugar bowl for the coffee. There was food all over the floor. I guess that’s why they keep it so dim in there… to hide the filth. Maybe they should put their efforts into sanitation and cleanliness instead of making some kind of statement.

I was fortunate to get to Rain 3x during a stay in Wichita this week. Fantastic people great street tacos. Rain was instantly comfortable. One of the bartenders said it's like cheers. Get there!

I have eaten at Rain Bistro & Lounge several times. Each and every time I have eaten here the food was awesome and the service was good. I also like the atmosphere. I strongly recommend eating at Rain Bistro & Lounge. Keep up the good work. May God bless you always!

We went as a small group. It is a nice little place. The drinks were a great price. Outside seating, and even a pool table. I loved the little decorations all over. So many super frpeople!

First time visiting Wichita & came upon this bistro/lounge. The food, service, drinks, were awesome. However the cheesecake with carmel sauce was amazing! I think they should name it the big "O".

The service was great we ordered food and drinks didn't take long for our food and drinks. They even had a special going on and they saved us money which was great. Drinks were good and the food was awesome. If you're looking for a good place to go and have a few drinks and eat I would try it out you won't be disappointed.

OMG I can't believe how good the food is! I love their pizza, the wings, they actually have a nice side salad too!! Highly recommend eating here. The service is always outstanding!! It is always a good time for a night out too!! DO IT...GO HERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!

I love rain! My favorite bar in wichita! The pool table, the covered outside patio, amazing bartenders, safe environment, and amazing food make this place my go to. Try the spicy fried pickles with jalapeño ranch

It a place of peace, comfort, and great vibe for any type of crowd. Security at all times to ensure your safety. By far, I cannot express my thankfulness to staff at all times.

Great vibe, people & staff. ALL the bartenders are Top-notch but if you're fortunate enough to go in on a night when the lead bartender, Andrew is working well....prepare to feel like you might just be in NYC or Miami or well...suffice it to say he's Always a pleasant professional surprise. I think have perfected the basics. The brunch is delicious. The atmosphere is upbeat. Very hospitable and clean. Our server was great. Will definitely be making this a place a regular stop. Highly recommended local business.

Went there with a friend and they had really good chili! The bartender rocked our Bloody Mary’s too! Very friendly and awesome atmosphere! We will definitely be going back!

We had a great, chill night bouncing back and forth between the bar and the patio. The service was great and every drink we had was delicious. I highly recommend Rain if your trying to avoid some of the louder, busier bars and clubs filled with rude party animals in the downtown area of Wichita.

Great mimosa and I went right at 11am when they opened! The smothered burrito was good but it could have used a few more chips. The service was great, will definitely go back for brunch again!

Amazing service! Danielle and the guy with her is absolute amazing. We don’t have a lot of time to get a bite to eat and she helped us and got amazing food late at night. You have no idea how grateful we are during Covid that you helped us out late at night. Would totally recommend this place for a great drink and food especially late at night.
