I was informed by a Wichita local that this greasy spoon, drive through diner had the best burgers in town and boy was he right. This place is busy and the drive through lane can only accommodate about 4 cars at a time so be prepared to wait 15 - 20 minutes to order and pickup your meal. The day I was there I walked up to the front door but there is a sign there that said the lobby was closed so I had to hop back into my car, order, pickup my meal, park then sat at the nice white picnic table in the back watching all the cars line up and order. While sitting there enjoying my meal I could hear people ordering 4, 5 or 8 burgers at a time so with only 1 guy cooking you can imagine the wait but its definately worth the time. I ordered both the single bacon cheese and double bacon cheese burger to sample - the double is the way to go. Nice coronary artery hardening goodness, each patty seemed to be hand formed, juicy and tasty. The chunks of grilled onions melted in with the beef and cheese - each burger had ample bacon and the toasted bun held it nicely all together. The fries on the other had was good but I am not really into super crispy fries - other might enjoy that style. Five stars for the burgers and "Yes" I would definately come back the next time I visit Wichita.

Anyone who knows me knows I hate waiting in line. I waited 1 hour in line for a 3/4 lb burger, 1/2 lb burger, a drink, and onion rings tonight. It was worth EVERY SECOND! I tried this place for the first time earlier this week and I had to go back! This place is cash only and had quite a line when I got there. Once you try it, you'll understand why! Kourtney and her mom, Connie, did a wonderful job! 10/10 service. 10/10 food. 10/10 price. 1000/10 will be going back! I spent $18 for all of that and it is my new favorite burger place. If you want a good, greasy burger, this is the place to go! They make it fresh when you order (which is why the wait time is what it is) and they are so kind. Support local and support quality food by getting food here! If you can leave a good tip, I highly recommend it because their business is worth every bit! My only regret is not finding this place sooner! You've got a customer for life and I can't wait until I visit again! 😋

Best burger in town hands down! Well worth the wait, cash only so make sure you plan ahead. Burgers are always delicious, tried the cheese fries today and wasn't disappointed.

Can be a little tricky when it’s busy but totally worth the wait if you’re a fan of old school burger joints. Simple, made to order, and delicious. Prices are still reasonable too!

my first time ever reviewing anything so I came all the way from Cali to enjoy a Sports burger just to find out they don’t take debt, cash app or pay pal. Then had the nerve to have an attitude & rush me out the line after I been in it for 15mins waiting in it, cause I didn’t know where the nearest ATM was, couldn’t even ask her 😓 so I was thinking should I order then walk to an ATM… because there were still 3 cars in front of me. so I knew I had time but all of her attitude ruined my starvation. Oh, and it gets better. There was no way that I could pull out because all sides of the restaurant was blocked so I had to wait another 15 minutes to get out of line. The food is probably great. Even though I didn’t get a chance to try it because bad customer service. 😒

My grandmother ran a small cafe in the 60"s. This reminds me of that food! freshly cooked the way I want, doesn't taste like cheap fast food, and it was HOT! French Fries were hot and crisp without having to tell them to do it. But make sure you have CASH. They don't take credit or debt, which has caused some folks to leave negative reviews, but the food is certainly worth it!

This place is God sent. After I ordered, I read that they only except cash. I didn't have enough cash on me. I almost went out of the line, but I figured I would tell them I didn't have enough at the window. When I went to the window, I told her I didn't know they only except cash and I didn't have enough to cover my food. She told me not to worry about it, that my food was almost done. That was so thoughtful of her. I was really having a tough day and she really lifted my spirits. Next time I go, I will definitely give her a nice tip. The burgers were so good and the buns were soft and warm. Best place for burgers in wichita.

Our first time here was AMAZING! Just remember to bring your cash. No cards accepted! We didn't know this and had to run to the ATM, but they were so gracious! The food was fantastic and huge portions! I had to save half my burger for later and when I reheated it, it was still yummy! We will definitely be back!!

Me and my grandbaby had girls day out we stop by and grab 2 #5 bacon cheeseburger meals and onion rings Its worth the wait . portions are large,food so good you want to slap somebody remind me of the old time cooking. Greeting us was as sweet as your tea. Keep up the good work Sports Burger.

Best burger (added lettuce and tomato) and fries I've had in Kansas, and probably the best burger I've ever had in its class anywhere. At least on par with the famed NYC chain Shake Shack. Puts In-n-Out and Whataburger to shame. Freddy's? I don't even know who you are anymore. Not only is it one of the best burgers I've ever had, but the burger sat in the bag for 40 minutes before I was even able to eat it. Awesome fries too - hot, crispy, and tasty. My only issue is it was very slow to get through the drive thru. Waited 40 minutes for 7 cars. Not sure if it was an off-day or if this is the norm, but it was worth the wait.

Great spot to grab a burger, depending on the time you go there may be long wait because it's drive thru only and everything is made fresh. Nonetheless the burgers are so good its worth the wait to me if I have the time to spare. Burgers are seasoned well and as I said everything is made fresh so it's high quality. Best burgers! Be ready for a really long wait in line. Took me about 45min for lunch. Also be aware it's cash only. It's for sure worth the wait, don't even try it if your pressed for time.

We tried the large cheeseburger. They automatically put ketchup, mustard, grilled onions and pickle on them. Unless you tell them otherwise. We tried their fries and onion rings as well. Everything was very good. They only accept cash here. I got in line on a Saturday around 12:30 pm. I left there with my food at 1:30pm. This place is a drive-thru only. They make the burgers fresh on order. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. They are open from 11-3 on Saturday. They are open from 11-4 on Tuesday through Friday.
