This is such a great little boardwalk to take a stroll and maybe snap a picture or 7 of the wetland wildlife.

The preserve is peaceful and serene, but parking was a challenge. The preserve shares the very small parking lot with the dog park. They need a separate parking area. We saw lots of birds. Too bad everyone doesn't wear masks and enter in a clockwise direction to better adhere to social distancing while enjoying nature.

Nice side trip. Not too strenuous - has nice walkways and we saw an alligator both times we visited. You can pack a small picnic and enjoy while under pavillion... there are a few benches, but I don't remember seeing a table. It's peaceful. We went once by golf cart and once by car.

And to think, all you people RAVING about the animals, and the foliage, and oh so cool... You people are the very reason that THOUSANDS of acres of just that are being destroyed for more shopping and houses you can hop rooftop to rooftop on. All the wildlife, displaced and destroyed. For a golf course. R.I.P. Sumter County, Fl

What a wonderful experience for us this week. Took little lady that I take care of "on an adventure" and we walked and talked the whole way. Birds, fish and turtles galore. Blessed to have Preserve so close!

👍👍 Beautiful & clean park. It has nice seating areas and much needed shade too. The walking trail was really nice. It would perfect to take a walk with a handicapped loved one.
