Excellent Home cooking, great food. One of my favorite places to go

They weren’t busy but the eggs were not cooked to order. The hash browns were raw…even after sent back, came back raw. Bacon was good. Service was good. They need a better cook.

We went to the colony at the villages location today. Arrived about 11:15 AM. The restaurant was less than half full. The service was very slow. The others in my party ordered burgers and I ordered the farmhouse biscuit platter. It took a little over an hour to get our food. It all came overdone and cold! The sausage on my sandwich was black. The fries on the burger patters were cold as well. I did not get the sausage gravy ,which should have been included, with my meal. I told the waitress. She never acknowledged my complaint and never brought me the gravy. Everyone in our section seemed as dissatisfied as we were. Probably won't be going back to this Bob Evans again .

We normally enjoy eating at Bob Evans at the Colony, and rate the experience a five; except yesterday a man was allowed to bring his non-service dog into the eating area of the restaurant. To make matters worse, two employees, a waitress and the seating hostess; both chose to pet it, seemingly endorsing it's presence. Afterwards, neither washed their hands, and both continued serving meals.

Anthony was great, could tell he was a bit flustered, he was somewhat busy all at once as we watched the "manager" and another girl just stand at the counter and not help him, then ask him why are are you so behind and STILL do nothing to help then go to another table and talk down about his employee, that is a HORRIBLE manager, you don't talk down your employees to customers YOU HELP THEM! There is more but you get the picture. Rick, the management position is not for you and you should move on. The food was amazing, the Service was great now that I understand the circumstances! Probably will not be back to that location.

I went to the Bob Evans at Colony in The Village's at 11 am today. We waited 30 minutes for a table. Obviously, there was not enough help because there were lots of tables open and only myself and one other couple were waiting. No problem, we waited patiently. We were finally seated, 10 more minutes went by until a server came by and said it would be 30 to 40 minutes for our food because they had no help. We left and went to Dunkin donuts. Sad.

We entered into a mostly empty restaurant. The hostess was checking other diners out so, she was too busy to seat us. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. The food itself is good and freshly made, with a very varied menu.

We came in and waited at the hostess station for 10 minutes and finally a lady (Sandy) came and didn't say a word, grabbed 2 menu's abd walked away, we assumed we were to follow her, she walked back to a booth, threw the menu's on the table and walked off without saying a word, this lady needs to be fired!!!! If we go back to this restaurant and she's there, we will immediately leave.
