This park has awesome exercise trails! Every 100 yards or so there is an exercise station with equipment. It is a beautifully managed green space. Canoe rental, 2 volley ball courts, and 9 hole disc golf. This is WAY nicer than Greenways in Nashville TN. Kudos to the Sumpter Co. Parks Dept!

Nice clean place for a walk. Clean bathrooms. They also have a small park for kids, an area for dogs and a sand volleyball court. Also disc golf course I think 9 holes.

Love this little park. Paved walkways, nice boat ramp, beautiful picnic areas, handicap bathrooms. This is a very well maintained county park here in Wildwood Florida. Didn't see any Gators today. Another great place to stop and stretch the legs. And enjoy the cool breezes that come off Lake Okahumpka. Great place to take a hike around the property. A beautiful boardwalk that overlooks the peserve covered in fresh lilies ready to bloom. The hiking trails have World gym stops throughout. Showing you different levels of fitness. As you walk through the shaded park area. Big beautiful oak trees draped in Moss. Quite a breathtaking county park

This place gets a 11 out of 10 for rating. We had the beat experience here. This park had everything. I mean from a boat ramp, to a picnic area, to a tennis court, to the trail. It had everything you need for a day out with your family. The trails had a little stop along the way for workout stations too. We took the shorter trail and then ended up walking the longer route too. You can walk anywhere from .3 miles to 1.25 here. There was a lot of Nature and we went It was littlely rainy so that made it so much more picturesque. We loved the whole trip to this park. There was a spot for your pets. This is so convenient and close enough to the town too. Please please please check this place out. It's wonderful here.

Easy 3.8. First time visit. Park is large, covers mich ground. Has amenities such as volleyball, dog park, hiking trails, frisbee golf, boat launch and canoe rentals. This visit is definitely worth the stop. Points off for garbage in the area especially around the retention lake.

Beautiful, well-maintained park with a nice, shady disc golf course that weaves through natural florida landscape, beautiful paved exercise trails with workout stations and an optional loop around a pond, a dog park, a really nice volleyball court, a boat ramp for shallow boating in a weedy lake, and an awesome kids’ park. It’s almost never busy, the bathrooms are clean, there’s a water fountain, and it’s just a gorgeous setting!

Ive been coming to this park for years. This is a very nice beautiful shaded park HOWEVER There are a lot of old guys in their cars alone- no dogs no disc golf just driving around I never see them walking at all. When they do patk they almost always back their cars in and just scan the place. Or they will park in the very back wooded area near the beginning of the disc golf course. Trying not to come to the wrong conclusion, but it appears like men looking to hook up with other men. See for yourself. No place for families in my opinion.

I have a 7&9yr old the play area is for smaller children. Bigger kids like to play to. Nowadays there's baby equipment nothing for bigger kids to do and that's not right bring back the bigger slides bring back merry-go-round stop wrapping kids in bubble wrap and let the kids be kids that's how they learn other than that they have a great walking paths but not recommended to take your bigger children there there's nothing for them to do

Nice clean park and it has a nice big playground with lots of different kinds of swings/ladders/slides etc. for the kids! Its real easy to get around once your inside the park. If you like walking and bike riding theyve got plenty of paved paths and also unpaved paths! They also have a frisbee course and assorted pavilions with picnic tables and areas for grilling! So if you want to have a good time the park has activities for everybody!RR

Cute park to stop by if you are near Wildwood, FL. The trail has been expanded with a new loop & gazebo, so you can enjoy more of the nature & wildlife. Nice playground for kids too. Restrooms & covered picnic area are available.

As we live down the street from the park we come very often. Grandchildren love the exercise stations. Garbage cans are many as well as dog waist cans. Please use them so it stays nice here.

Nice little park with trails. It also has a Frisbee-Golf course (aka disc golf) which I thought was nice. Only confusing part was I wanted to walk by the lake and couldn't find signage on paths or the parking lot on how to get there.

The trails are awesome but they just replaced the play ground and the new one is awful. Our 3 yr old used to love going there but the new play set is no fun. We will not be going back. It was installed to high.
