OMG. I came 7 months ago and it was a cute little playground. But it is now pretty awesome. It is completely changed. Still a pirate theme playground, completely redone top to bottom and shade above playground installed. It is so much better now, and now it's always full of kids 💕

Beautiful park for 2-8 year olds. Shaded by canopy, floored with shock-absorbing astroturf, fully gated, and has many bench's and chairs to sit. The playground itself is modestly sized, but that is fine for the age-group—it has a pirate-ship theme. Lovely scenery from the surrounding park. Beware: you will smell the BBQ coming from Sonny's across the street, so you may develop an appetite.

Peaceful as always. Love the Tuesday drum circle at the pavilion and the beautiful bit of nature hidden inside all the development.

When you visit The Villages you really feel like they thought of everything and this park is no exception. This is every parents dream: No sand or mulch, just turf and rubber padding for the ground. No open spaces for kids to run and get lost or into the street, there is a fence that surrounds the entire play structure. No direct sunlight because the entire playground is covered, and the trees are perfectly planted to block shade on the many chairs they have for parents and children. They have child sized chairs, musical flowers to bang around on, and you can see everything as a parent while sitting down and can rest assured your child is safe and having fun. Even the playground is completely made of recycled plastic material so there is no wood that might scrape or give splinters. We love this playground and love how close it is to the town square and shopping.

Nice clean little playground. Our 5 year old played for about 30 mins and started to get a little bored. Would be better to bring a friend or sibling. We were just thankful to have found something for a young one to do in this area.

Clean, protected, and accommodating for parents. This place raises the bar and sets an example of what a playground should be like. Great job

Well maintained and shady. Probably best for the six and under set. Plenty of seats and wildlife a bonus

This little park is just so quiet and refreshing. The kids love it. It’s enclosed and very clean. Seats all around for parents to sit and relax.

Wilkerson Creek Park & Children's Playground was so worth the drive from Leesburg!! I was so impressed with this playground I had to share for anyone who doesn’t know about it! The entire thing is covered, artificial grass and soft rubber, gated all the way around, comfy shaded areas for parents to sit, equipment made out of a great material that’s not wood or metal, has a covered pavilion with picnic tables right next to it, and located in a beautiful area of The Villages! Love it!!!

Very cute little park. I appreciated the large amount of shade and the rubberized turf. Much safer for kids to take spills on!

Fun little spot for smaller children. Covered picnic tables and a walking trail, nearby restaurants and stores. However no on site bathroom. Lit up at night time, the kids enjoyed that.

Such a nice, shaded, small park for little ones! Our daughter is 13 months and loved crawling around / up some of the parts of the park. We also appreciate that it is gated in a smaller area.
