😠 My wife took her Prius here for an oil change. After that I decided to do it myself and Firestone over-torqued the oil filter so bad that I couldn't possibly get it off myself. So, next change she took it back so the filter could be replaced. Again, they tightened that filter an ungodly amount. Fas... People often mention filter, time,

My wife took her Prius here for an oil change. After that I decided to do it myself and Firestone over-torqued the oil filter so bad that I couldn't possibly get it off myself. So, next change she took it back so the filter could be replaced. Again, they tightened that filter an ungodly amount. Fast forward a few months, it's time for another change. Hoping the filter wasn't as tight as last time I attempt it myself again. There is a major oil leak coming from the filter. Of the 4.4qt the car needs, less than 1qt actually drained into my pan. Either Firestone didn't fill the car all the way or the leak they caused lost 3+ quarts of oil in a few months. At this point I am determined to get the filter off to remedy that leak and end their cycle of over-tightening. It took 2 hours, a hammer & chisel, and torque wrench to break it lose. The filter cover is pretty demolished and of course they lost the washer on the drain plug and didn't replace. At this point I'm wondering if they were even able to get the filter off last time or if they left it stuck and lied about replacing it. If you care about your car and want it to last, don't take it here. They purposefully over-tighten everything so you can't do the job yourself. Toyota recommends 25 ft lbs, Firestone, not 250!

Pathetic location to get any work done. They lack basic etiquettes and manners to deal with customer requests. Details : I received a quote from this place for my brake services, and decided to schedule an appointment online. Got a call from a customer rep Jenn who wanted nothing short of “it’s my way or the highway” attitude. Despite telling her I received an estimate/quote, she continued to discard that and was extremely rude, arrogant and short tempered. She even belittled and berated her own work colleague who gave me the estimate. Her tone, pitch and attitude needs some real “servicing” to make it customer friendly.

Sometimes it is easy to skip writing a review when you have a great experience. I think we are generally inclined to write a review when something goes wrong. I had a great experience. It was easy to make an appointment, staff was ready for me, recommended a great coffee shop a couple doors down the street and then had my work done about 30 minutes faster than expected. Usually not excited about spending money on car repairs. Of course, that is part of the deal of car ownership. Thanks.

My sister's car was dropped off here on Monday. They told her they couldn't look at her car until Friday. They called her yesterday said they looked at her car and it was the throttle body and it would be done by Thursday. They call her back Tuesday tell her your car is now ready and it's $700. Her bf goes to get the car pays the money and her car breaks down 5 miles down the road, doing the same thing it done when she dropped it off. Now they tell her it has to go to the dealership. That it's the brain on her car. My sister now has to pay for another tow from Firestone to the dealership. That this above situation was part one and now we are on to part two. I don't work on cars but I don't think it throws the same code when the computer on your car needs to be flashed as it dose when you need to replace the throttle body!!!

Not a good place. I walked in and told them I had a 2:00 appointment. They took my keys, my information and I left. I came back three hours later because I didn't receive a call and said I was there to pick up my vehicle. At that point, they said, "Your appointment was change to tomorrow at 9:00 a.m." Trying to figure out why when I told them my appointment was at 2:00, they failed to mention that and still let me drop my vehicle off without mentioning that detail. They never called or informed me of that, but were willing to waste my time. I am seriously disappointed that my father bought my tires there and swore by their service. I have been going to Firestone for 7 years and to be honest, the service has been going downhill. Now, this sealed it. They just don't care about their customers. or their time. I am taking it somewhere else and the first thing I'm doing is getting rid of these tires, so I don't have to deal with their service or warranty. I'm sure they'd never show up if something happened anyway.

A huge thank you to Katie who helped us late in her shift when we had car trouble in the middle of a cross country trip. She was able to make time for us right before closing when the other three shops I called first told us they couldn't see us for four days. She gave us our options (that the car was safe enough to drive, but would be loud and eat up a lot of gas, or we could have it repaired) and made sure we knew what level of repair we needed - just a portion rather than the whole exhaust. She was amazing.
